HH Shaikh Khalid Orders Treatment Abroad for Footballer Hurt in Accident
His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the General Authority for Sports, and Chairman of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, has ordered to cover the medical treatment of Al-Dair Club player Hussein Al-Haiki abroad. This follows a serious traffic accident he recently suffered.
This generous directive reflects His Highness's compassionate approach in supporting and caring for the nation's youth, especially athletes. It also highlights his keen interest in monitoring their well-being and addressing their health and social needs, in recognition of their valuable contributions to Bahraini sports.
In response, Hussein Al-Haiki expressed his sincere gratitude to His Highness for this kind gesture, which has greatly lifted his spirits and eased his hardship after the painful accident. He affirmed that this noble support truly demonstrates the care and attention His Highness dedicates to sports and athletes.
