MP Hajj Hassan on normalization with Israel: We will not change our position
Head of the Baalbek-Hermel bloc, MP Hussein Hajj Hassan, called on the Lebanese state to "fulfill its role alongside the Quintet Committee to stop Israeli attacks, secure the return of prisoners, and initiate reconstruction efforts." Hajj Hassan stressed that "Lebanese national issues are resolved among Lebanese themselves, and we have nothing to trade with the enemy under the pressure of bombardment, killings, and assassinations." He warned of ongoing attempts to impose normalization with Israel across the region as part of efforts to liquidate the Palestinian cause. "As part of the Resistance Axis, we have confronted this issue over the past years and will not change our position," he affirmed. Hajj Hassan added that normalization with Israel contradicts the interests of Lebanon, Syria, and the broader region, including the very countries that have already normalized relations.

MP Hussein Hajj Hassan says municipal election results show resistance stronghold remains unshaken
MP Hussein Hajj Hassan said that Lebanon has faced several key milestones since the Israeli war on the country. He pointed in particular to a recent milestone—the municipal and mukhtar elections—which began last Sunday and will continue in the coming weeks. He noted that in the Mount Lebanon governorate, where lists backed by the Hezbollah-Amal duo ran, those lists either won uncontested or secured sweeping victories at the polls. He said this outcome reflects the clear choice of that community, which "did not abandon the resistance during the war and will not abandon it under any circumstance, pressure, or incitement." "No media campaign, incitement, or form of pressure will change us," he added, "whether it concerns the resistance, false accusations, disinformation, psychological warfare, or media intimidation."

MP Hussein Hajj Hassan warns of Israeli occupation, calls for state action
Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc MP Hussein Hajj Hassan said Lebanon faces "many challenges and obligations" and must remain prepared to uphold former Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah's directives. Speaking on Saturday, he said at least five points remain occupied by Israel's army, noting Washington's role as head of the ceasefire monitoring committee. Addressing sovereignty advocates, he said Israel continues to occupy Lebanese land, kill civilians, and destroy homes while officials remain silent. He called on the state to fulfill its duty to liberate land and prevent Israeli attacks. Hajj Hassan also questioned whether the Arab world is prepared to counter the "Israeli-American project," warning that statements alone are not enough to stop regional fragmentation and displacement. He concluded by asserting that Hezbollah and its supporters remain a formidable force, pointing to the February 23 commemorations as proof that Hezbollah and the Amal Movement cannot be sidelined in Lebanon.

MP Hussein Hajj Hassan says reconstruction cannot afford any delays, should not be linked to any political conditions
MP Hussein Hajj Hassan, a Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc member, stated that the Lebanese government must immediately begin the reconstruction process without linking it to any political conditions. During a memorial ceremony marking the martyrdom of Hezbollah's two former secretaries-general, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and Sayyed Hashem Safieddine, in Baalbek, Hajj Hassan stressed that reconstruction cannot afford any delays or extensions, or as some say, political reforms. He pointed out that reforms take years and that reconstruction should not be linked to any political conditions. He added that the only condition should be transparency in reforms and speed without haste. The process should continue within a very short time frame without any political preconditions. Hajj Hassan said, "We were subjected to a war aimed at eradicating our existence, but thanks to our alliance with the Amal Movement and the support of the environment and the heroic martyrs who continued until the last moments, the aggression could not crush the resistance and failed to achieve its goals."
