Season 2 promises to pick up the pieces in the aftermath of the original outbreak, with Park Ji-hu (Nam On-jo), Yoon Chan-young (Lee Cheong-san), Cho Yi-hyun (Choi Nam-ra), and Lomon (Lee Su-hyeok) reprising their roles as the few who made it out alive. But survival came at a price, and the scars of what happened in Hyosan still linger. Now, as the story shifts to Seoul, On-jo is trying to settle into university life — only to find herself facing the unimaginable once again when a fresh wave of infection breaks out. The tense Korean Netflix series may well appeal to fans of Squid Game, which recently came to an end. Netflix fans are saying 'about time' and 'finally' as the streaming giant has confirmed production has started for season 2 of one of its biggest Korean dramas. Following the conclusion of Squid Game, which is Netflix's most-watched show of all time, fans of the thriller are urged to check out another popular Korean series. The sci-fi show, which is returning for a second season after first premiering in 2022, has ranked among Netflix 's Top 10 most-watched non-English series of all time. Titled All of Us Are Dead, the thriller series has been billed as a 'catastrophic coming-of-age story in which teens at Hyosan High band together to survive a zombie outbreak'. The official Netflix synopsis reads: 'A high school becomes ground zero for a zombie virus outbreak. Trapped students must fight their way out — or turn into one of the rabid infected.' After season one scored an impressive 89% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes, All of Us Are Dead is making a triumphant comeback. Netflix shared the exciting production update earlier today, posting on X: 'All of Us Are Dead Season 2 is NOW IN PRODUCTION. 'Starring Park Ji-hu, Yoon Chan-young, Cho Yi-hyun, Lomon, Lee Min-jae, Kim Si-eun, Roh Jae-won, and Yoon Ga-i.' Taking to the comments, fans expressed their excitement over the news after what has felt like a long wait. There were plenty of comments like 'FINALLY', 'CAN'T WAIT' and 'ABOUT TIME'. 'WHATTTT ARE YOU KIDDING ME,' one fan enthused, as another chimed in: 'Here we go… It's about time!' 'All of Us are Dead WAITINGGG,' one viewer quipped, as one more wrote: 'Love it. All of Us Are Dead Season 2 begins production: Lee Min Jae joins cast with Park Soloman, Park Ji Hu, more reprising roles
Good news for All Of Us Are Dead fans! Finally the first update about season 2 of the popular series is out. On July 23, Netflix announced its production commencement and cast lineup. Some of the last season's actors are set to reprise their roles. After impressing fans with their memorable roles in dramas like Hyper Knife and Little Women, the actors are back for filming of the popular zombie apocalypse show. Besides them, some new faces will also be seen in the 2nd season. All Of Us Are Dead Season 2 cast confirmed Netflix announced the cast lineup of All Of Us Are Dead Season 2 through the release of the actors' script reading pics. It includes the survivors of the zombie outbreak in season 1, namely– members Park Ji Hu, Yoon Chan Young, Cho Yi Hyun and Park Lomon. Besides them, the new actors who joined them in the gripping drama's next instalment are Lee Min Jae, Kim Si Eun, Roh Jae Won and Yoon Ga Yi. The cast announcement was made in a unique manner. (2021–2023) Deserter Pursuit, or D.P., revolves around South Korea's mandatory military service. The series tells the story of a military police team tasked with catching deserters. However, they soon discover that reasons such as bullying are why soldiers abandon their duties. Jung Hae In, Koo Kyo Hwan, Kim Sung Kyun and Son Suk Ku lead the series, directed by Han Jun Hee. Extraordinary Attorney Woo (2022) This drama, directed by Yu In Sik, tells the story of Attorney Woo, played by Park Eun Bin. Hellbound (2021–2024) Directed by Yeon Sang Ho, Hellbound revolves around supernatural beings suddenly appearing out of nowhere and condemning people to hell. This leads to the rise in religious groups, founded on the idea of justice. The series stars Yoo Ah In, Kim Hyun Joo, Park Jeong Min, Won Jin Ah and Yang Ik June. Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha (2021) A city-based dentist relocates to a seaside village when her life falls apart. She sets up her new practice and meets with a local fisherman and a jack-of-all-trades. Eventually, they fall in love with each other. Shin Min A and Kim Seon Ho star as the lead couple in the drama directed by Je Won Yu. It's Okay to Not Be Okay (2020) Directed by Park Shin Woo, It's Okay to Not Be Okay centres around a caregiver for a psychiatric ward and an antisocial children's book writer, who moves to her hometown to pursue her love interest. The two then embark on a journey to heal each other from their past traumas. It featured Kim Soo Hyun, Seo Ye Ji and Oh Jung Se in lead roles. A Killer Paradox (2024) A Killer Paradox tells the story of a convenience store employee, played by Choi Woo Shik, who ends up murdering a serial killer in a robbery gone wrong.
