Dibba Al Hisn Club hosts bullying awareness workshops
Creative Event Attendance The outstanding event, titled "I Am Creative," took place yesterday morning at Dibba Al Hisn Sports and Cultural Club under the patronage of the Sharjah Sports Council, with a large turnout of participants of all ages. The event was attended by prominent figures, including Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Al Matoua, Chairman of the Club's Board of Directors, and Mohammed Abdullah Al Tarban, Chairman of Dibba Al-Hisn Football Club, along with several committee heads and administrative and technical staff. Anti-Bullying Workshop Impact The second day also included an outstanding awareness workshop on "Bullying," conducted by an officer from Sharjah Police. This session aimed to raise awareness about bullying, its various forms, and its psychological and social impacts, while fostering tolerance and positive behavior. Children actively participated in discussions and educational activities designed to enhance self-confidence and instill valuable principles. Ongoing Program Activities Throughout the day, a diverse range of considerately organised sports, cultural, and entertainment activities took place, blending skill development with teamwork and collaboration. The program featured interactive exercises, competitive games, educational workshops, and daily sports activities, including football, brain games, tug of war, water activities, and swimming. Program Goals Emphasised The management of Dibba Al-Hisn Club stated that the "Our Holiday is Different" summer program aligns with the leadership's vision to harness youth energy during the summer break. It aims to create a motivating and comprehensive environment that fosters character development and enhances physical and mental abilities. They also mentioned that upcoming days will feature more unique events and surprises designed to enrich participants' experiences and fulfill the program's educational and social objectives.

Al Hidd Primary School Successfully Integrates Autistic Students Into Regular Classrooms
Al Hidd: Al Hidd Primary Boys School has successfully transitioned three autistic students from a special education class to regular classrooms after notable progress in their cognitive, academic, behavioural, and social abilities. This achievement aligns with the Ministry of Education's policy of integrating students with special needs into public schools to ensure inclusive education. According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Mohamed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education, highlighted the school's efforts and commended the special education teachers, Haya Jassim Hassan, Fatima Falah Al Asfoor, Fatima Ibrahim Ashour, and Nasaem Khalifa Al Maqahwi, for their key role in this accomplishment, under the supervision of School Principal Hanadi Mubarak Isa. The principal highlighted the school's specialised educational programmes designed to develop autistic students' abilities in Arabic, mathematics, English, and science, alongside nurturing their personal, artistic, and social skills through the I Am Creative project. This initiative aims to develop independence, confidence, and positive integration into society. She explained that the school's Future Champions class, dedicated to autistic students, employs diverse teaching strategies, including play-based learning to enhance engagement and comprehension, individualised instruction tailored to students' needs, and a focus on 21st-century skills to promote independence and effective communication. Students are also encouraged to participate in school competitions.
