ICAI CA Foundation, Intermediate, Final Result 2025: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has officially declared the results of the CA May 2025 Exam results today, 6th July, 2025. The results have been released for all the three stages, Foundation, Intermediate and Final. All the candidates who have appeared for the exams can now check it through the official website, i.e. Along with results, ICAI has also released the topper's list of top rank holders for all the exams, foundation, inter and final. Candidates must note that to pass the CA examination, they have to achieve at least 40 per cent marks in each individual paper along with a minimum 50 per cent aggregate of all the papers together. And candidates who will achieve 70 per cent or more total aggregate will be awarded the title of 'Pass with Distinction and this title of distinction will help candidates for placements. ICAI CA Foundation Result May 2025 Session Declared: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) today, July 6 released the CA May 2025 Foundation exam results. Candidates can check the ICAI CA Foundation results at the official website of ICAI — and ICAI CA Result 2025 LIVE Updates The CA exams were held on May 15, 17, 19 and 21 for paper 1 (accountancy), paper 2 (business law), paper 3 (quantitative aptitude – business mathematics, logical reasoning and statistics) and paper 4 (business economics), respectively. The ICAI CA Foundation result statement of marks will be sent by post, soon after the declaration of CA result. However, in case candidates do not receive the same, for any reason, within four to five weeks from the date of declaration of the ICAI results, they may write to dms_examhelpline@ A candidate will be declared to have passed the Foundation Examination if the candidate obtains a minimum of 40 marks in each paper and a minimum of 50 per cent marks in aggregate of all the four papers, in one sitting. In paper 3 and paper 4, there will be negative marking for each wrong answer. One-fourth mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. Half or more fractional marks only will be rounded off to the next full mark in Paper 1 and 2. Any fraction of mark will be rounded off to the next full mark in paper 3 and 4. Candidates securing a minimum of 70 per cent marks in CA Foundation 2025 May exam will be declared 'Pass with Distinction' and such remarks will be indicated in the Result Card only. There is no provision for improvement of result of CA Foundation examination. Those who have once passed the ICAI CA Foundation examination are not eligible to apply/ appear afresh/again in the Foundation examination. ICAI will also allow the candidates to verify their results. The verification fee is Rs 100 per paper. An examinee has the option of applying for certified copies of his/her evaluated answer books online at along with the application fee which is Rs 500 per paper within 30 days from the date of declaration of result. Link of evaluated answer books will be sent through registered email id of the candidate. Certified copies of answer books will be provided in the normal course with a fee of Rs 500 per paper. ICAI will provide answer books of papers 1 and 2 and OMR answer sheet of papers 3 and 4. Links of the soft copy of the certified answer book and OMR answer sheets will be sent through email in the registered email id of the candidate.
