Rowe Leads Rain-Interrupted Open Test at Milwaukee Mile

INDYCAR Series veteran Myles Rowe led the INDY NXT by Firestone Open Test on June 24 at the Milwaukee Mile, edging rookie and championship leader Dennis Hauger. Rowe was fastest among the 20 drivers in the rain-interrupted test with a lap of 151.751 mph in the No. 99 Abel/Force Indy car. 2023 USF Pro 2000 champion Rowe is seeking his first INDY NXT victory in his second season in the INDYCAR development series. SEE: Test Results 'Happy with the day,' Rowe said. 'It's looking good for Milwaukee, and we had a pretty good Iowa test. Very clearly looking forward to the ovals. Hopefully we can just carry the momentum and the execution toward those events. This is good momentum to continue the season.' Drivers tested on the historic 1-mile oval at Wisconsin State Fair Park to prepare for the series race Sunday, Aug. 24, the penultimate event of the season. Late morning rain forced a delay of four hours, 12 minutes today before drivers returned to the track midway through the afternoon. Formula 2 veteran Hauger, who never turned a lap on an oval before this season, continued to build his experience and circle-track speed by ending up second at 150.618 in the No. 28 Nammo car of Andretti Global. Andretti Global-affiliated drivers took the next four spots in the order. Rookie Lochie Hughes was third at 150.415 in the No. 26 McGinley Clinic/USF Pro Championship machine. Hughes is second in the standings, 28 points behind Hauger. Salvador de Alba continued the power play by Andretti Global, ending up fourth at 149.753 in the No. 27 Grupo Indi entry. Ricardo Escotto rounded out the top five at 149.469 in the No. 3 Frank's Red Hot machine of Andretti – Cape Motorsport. The next event for the series is the INDY NXT by Firestone Grand Prix at Mid-Ohio on Sunday, July 6 at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course near Columbus, Ohio. recommended

Caio Collet Breaks Through at Road America With First Win of Season

INDYCAR The wait finally is over for Caio Collet. Collet passed championship leader Dennis Hauger with less than five laps remaining and drove away to win the Grand Prix of Road America on Sunday, his first INDY NXT by Firestone victory this season. Collet's No. 76 HMD Motorsports car crossed the finish line 1.7093 seconds ahead of Hauger's No. 28 Nammo car fielded by Andretti Global. SEE: Race Results 2024 series Rookie of the Year Collet entered this event with three podium finishes in the first six races this season, including two runner-up finishes. His victory was the first this season for HMD Motorsports, as Hauger and fellow Andretti Global rookie teammate Lochie Hughes have combined to win every race. 'At the beginning of the season, we couldn't match them, to be honest,' Collet said. 'It was really frustrating. Every time we went on track, it was hard to be second or third. But we kept working hard, and we need to keep working because they are a great team with great drivers. We need to keep pushing.' Hughes rounded out the podium finishers in the No. 26 McGinley Clinic/USF Pro Championship car after passing Josh Pierson in the No. 14 HMD Motorsports machine on the last of 20 laps around the 14-turn, 4.014-mile circuit. Pierson ended up tying his career-best finish of fourth. Myles Rowe placed fifth in the No. 99 Abel/Force Indy car in the caution-free race. Hauger led from the pole on an unseasonably hot day with air temperatures in the high 80s. Collet stayed close from the second starting position, keeping the gap around five- or six-tenths of a second as the duo marched away from the rest of the 19-car field. Collet's patience expired on Lap 16. He drove alongside Hauger on the long front straightway and made an outside pass in Turn 1 stick. Collet then eased away from Hauger over the last four laps. 'I kept up the pace, kept up the pressure,' Collet said. 'Yesterday, I think I lost the pole to myself. Dennis did a phenomenal lap, but I think I left a bit in the tank and was very frustrated. Today I really wanted to give the win to the team.' Said Hauger: 'I think we've been on the back foot compared to Collet all weekend. We did everything right today, but they were just a bit stronger. I tried to do what I could, but it just wasn't meant to be. Still a decent weekend.' Hauger's lead over second-place Hughes grew from 19 to 28 points with his fifth podium finish of the season. Collet is third, 70 points behind Hauger. The next race is the INDY NXT by Firestone Grand Prix at Mid-Ohio on Sunday, July 6 at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. It's good track for Collet, who earned his sole previous INDY NXT victory there in July 2024. recommended

Lottery.com and Sports.com Showcase Multi-Series Talent in INDYCAR and INDY NXT at Gateway

MADISON, Ill., June 16, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — It was a weekend of high drama, fast pace, and standout performances across both the NTT INDYCAR SERIES and INDY NXT by Firestone, as and drivers Callum Ilott, Louis Foster and Sebastian Murray took to the high-speed oval at World Wide Technology Raceway under the lights. With brand presence across all three cars, the weekend marked another milestone for Inc. (Nasdaq: LTRY, LTRYW) and further reinforcing their commitment to elite and emerging talent across the motorsport ladder. Callum Ilott: Commanding Drive Ends in Fuel-Heartbreak PREMA Racing's Callum Ilott produced a sensational performance in Gateway's 260-lap race. Starting from P16, the British driver carved his way through the field and was leading the race in the closing laps. Unfortunately, a fuel strategy gamble came up short, and Ilott was forced to pit with just four laps remaining, finishing P18. 'Today's result is hard to take in, especially when we were leading with just a handful of laps to go,' Ilott said . 'The car felt really good all race, our pace was strong, and we made our pit stops at the right time. We'll come back stronger at Road America.' Ilott continues to fly the flag with high-visibility helmet branding, reaffirming his status as one of the most talented and composed drivers on the INDYCAR grid. Louis Foster: Blistering Pace and Unlucky End to a Promising Run Louis Foster, racing for Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing, once again showed front-running speed before a late-race incident ended his charge. The 21-year-old Brit had been running competitively inside the top 10 before catching the marbles and spinning into a high-speed crash, marking his second consecutive DNF despite showing strong form. 'I had wiggles all race, and just got too high onto the dark stuff where there's less grip. At that point, I was a complete passenger , ' Foster said . 'We were really fast—it's frustrating to end the weekend like that, but there's a lot to take forward.' Now fully backed through the end of the season with on his helmet and on the front wing endplates, Foster remains central to both brands' INDYCAR activation strategy. 'Louis continues to flash brilliance every time he's on track,' said Matthew McGahan, Chairman and CEO of 'We're proud to support him and are confident he'll turn the corner and deliver the results his talent deserves.' Sebastian Murray: Strong INDY NXT Oval Debut Shows Potential In just his first-ever oval race, INDY NXT newcomer Sebastian Murray delivered a disciplined and mature drive. Starting mid-pack, Murray kept his nose clean and ultimately finished ahead of his starting position—an encouraging result as he builds experience in one of motorsport's toughest disciplines. 'It was a really good weekend. The team did a great job and it feels good to get the first oval out of the way,' said Murray . 'We made up some positions and fought our way through. If I'd gotten past a certain car earlier, I think we could've had a very different result.' With full branding support from and across his helmet, suit, rear wing, and endplates, Murray continues to exceed expectations. 'Sebastian kept it shiny-side-up and delivered a performance well beyond his experience level,' said McGahan . 'He's taken to oval racing naturally—like a duck to water—and we're excited to watch his progression.' Next Up: Road America The and drivers now head to Road America in Wisconsin. The course is a known favorite for Foster who previously won there in Indy Pro 2000 and finished second in INDY NXT. 'To have three drivers across both series carrying our brands is a special moment,' said McGahan . 'This weekend showed grit, speed, and the kind of excitement that we're proud to align with. Road America is next—and we're ready.' About Inc. The Inc.
