Their first meeting took place in Prayagraj, after which a relationship began. She alleges she stayed at his residence several times and became close to his family. 2022: Public Appearances With Family The woman, a former employee at an ed-tech company, claimed she stayed at Yash's residence and was 'close to his family," although Dayal's father reportedly denied knowing her. She states she attended the IPL 2022 final at the Narendra Modi Stadium with Dayal's family and was present with the cricketer's family. The couple later traveled to Ooty in June with Dayal's sister and a friend, staying at the Western Valley Resort. Both posted photos from the trip on Instagram. Over the course of a five-year relationship, the complainant alleges she was emotionally, mentally, physically, and financially exploited by Dayal under the pretext of marriage. She claims he introduced her as his partner, took money from her, and was involved with other women during this period. February 2025: Attend's RCB Teammate's Wedding The woman also claimed they attended an RCB player's wedding in February 2025, where they discussed engagement. She alleged the cricketer had multiple affairs over their 4.5-year relationship. April 2025: Dayal's Alleged Multiple Affairs The victim also said that another girl, who was reportedly seeing Dayal, reached out to her and 'shared proof of his affairs', but the family, despite being aware of it, 'kept giving her hope of marriage'. 'Three other girls have contacted her and shared similar experiences," the report said. She alleges Dayal used the same app on their phones to order household items. She found out that he stayed in a Lucknow hotel on 7 June and ordered objectionable items. June 2025: Initial Complaint The woman called the women's helpline (181) to report her allegations, but the process did not progress at the local police station. June 2025: Escalation To Chief Minister's Portal With no action from the local police, the complainant filed her case on the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister's online grievance portal (IGRS), submitting evidence such as chat records, screenshots, video call recordings, and photographs. June 28–30, 2025: Police Action The Ghaziabad police recorded the complainant's statement and issued a notice to Dayal. Reports surfaced that the Chief Minister's office had asked the Indirapuram Circle Officer to submit a report by July 21, 2025. The woman publicly posted about her ordeal on social media, including a copy of the FIR and a photo with Dayal. July 1–6, 2025: Investigation And Evidence Collection Police confirmed they had received the complaint and were investigating. The complainant reiterated her allegations, stating Dayal exploited her and other women under false promises of marriage. July 7, 2025: Dayal Records Statement In Front Of Police As per a report in The Indian Express, Patil Nimish Dasharath, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Trans-Hindon), Ghaziabad, told the national daily that Dayal has recorded his statement before the police. 'We have registered a case under BNS Section 69 (sexual intercourse by deceitful means, including a false promise of marriage) against him and are probing further," he said. July 7, 2025: FIR Registered, Section 69 BNS Invoked An FIR was officially registered against Dayal at Indirapuram police station, Ghaziabad, under Section 69 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), which pertains to sexual acts committed on the basis of deceitful promises (such as false assurances of marriage). This section is non-bailable and carries a maximum punishment of up to ten years in prison. The FIR details allegations of sexual exploitation, physical violence, mental harassment, and cheating by making false promises of marriage. Former England captain Jos Buttler has revealed that Virat Kohli once opened up to him about his 'insecurities' and the occasional feeling of not knowing 'how to play'. Buttler said Kohli gave him insights about his bad phases to help him temper his own expectations during the IPL 2023 season. Buttler was the highest run-scorer in IPL 2022 (863 runs) but struggled to live up to extra expectations in the following year for the Rajasthan Royals. He took the opportunity of the team's practice with Royal Challengers Bengaluru to reach out to Kohli, who had an even more 'phenomenal' year in 2016 with a record 973 runs. 'I've played a lot against Virat," Buttler told Stuart Broad during 'For the Love of Cricket' podcast. 'He's a huge competitor, but I just thought that I'll ask him a couple of questions.
