ISG to Assess Enterprise Managed Network Service Providers

STAMFORD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Information Services Group (ISG) (Nasdaq: III), a global AI-centered technology research and advisory firm, has launched a research study of managed network service providers and network operators, exploring how they enable enterprises to transform networks from static infrastructure assets into dynamic platforms. Enterprises recognize how advanced technologies modernize their network infrastructure and services. To support modernization, providers need to enable integration with existing enterprise networks using standardized interfaces and automation tools. Share The study results will be published in a series of comprehensive ISG Provider Lens™ reports, called Enterprise Managed Network Services, scheduled to be released in December 2025. The reports will cover companies offering managed network services (MNS), managed connectivity solutions and network-as-a-service (NaaS) solutions. Enterprise buyers will be able to use information from the reports to evaluate their current vendor relationships, potential new engagements and available offerings, while ISG advisors use the information to recommend providers to the firm's buy-side clients. As enterprises implement hybrid work modes and distribute applications, the role of MNS is evolving to support dynamic business operations. Modern MNS portfolios address critical enterprise concerns related to network flexibility, performance, visibility and compliance. Enterprises are increasingly adopting important new network technologies, including zero-trust security architectures, open API-based orchestration, sovereign cloud integration and post-quantum encryption support. 'Enterprises recognize how advanced technologies modernize their network infrastructure and services,' said Heiko Henkes, director, ISG Provider Lens Research. 'To support modernization initiatives, providers need to enable seamless integration with existing enterprise networks using standardized interfaces and intelligent automation tools.' ISG has distributed surveys to nearly 200 enterprise MNS providers. Working in collaboration with ISG's global advisors, the research team will produce three quadrants representing managed network services commonly adopted by enterprises, based on ISG's experience working with its clients. The three quadrants are: Managed Network Services Evolution, evaluating providers delivering comprehensive, enterprise-grade network services under long-term outsourcing agreements. Providers are assessed on their ability to integrate advanced technologies such as automation, AI-driven operations and zero-trust enforcement. Managed Enterprise Connectivity Solutions (DIA, VoIP and VPN), assessing providers offering fully managed connectivity solutions such as dedicated internet access (DIA), voice over internet protocol (VoIP) and virtual private networks (VPNs). They need to deliver end-to-end lifecycle services, adhere to service level agreements (SLAs) for performance and security and support modern cryptography standards. Network as a Service (NaaS), covering providers delivering cloud-based, on-demand connectivity and network functions that eliminate the need for in-house infrastructure. Providers are evaluated on their ability to align with Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF) principles to ensure interoperability and service quality and their capacity to offer scalable, centrally managed solutions embedded with sustainability features. Geographically focused reports from the study will cover the global enterprise managed network services market and examine products and services available in the U.S., Europe and Asia Pacific. ISG analysts Kenn Walters (U.S. and Europe) and Yash Jethani Pradeep (Asia Pacific) will serve as authors of the reports. A list of identified providers and vendors and further details on the study are available in this digital brochure. Companies not listed as enterprise managed network service providers can contact ISG and ask to be included in the study. All 2025 ISG Provider Lens™ evaluations feature expanded customer experience (CX) data that measures actual enterprise experience with specific provider services and solutions, based on ISG's continuous CX research. Enterprise customers wishing to share their experience about a specific provider or vendor are encouraged to complete this online survey. Participants will receive a copy of this report in return for their feedback. About ISG Provider Lens™ Research The ISG Provider Lens™ Quadrant research series is the only service provider evaluation of its kind to combine empirical, data-driven research and market analysis with the real-world experience and observations of ISG's global advisory team. Enterprises will find a wealth of detailed data and market analysis to help guide their selection of appropriate sourcing partners, while ISG advisors use the reports to validate their own market knowledge and make recommendations to ISG's enterprise clients. The research currently covers providers offering their services globally, across Europe, as well as in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Brazil, the U.K., France, Benelux, Germany, Switzerland, the Nordics, Australia and Singapore/Malaysia, with additional markets to be added in the future. Brazil Activates Microsoft's AI Strategy with Local Use Cases

Companies start to transform operations using new data center capacity, Copilot localization capabilities, ISG Provider Lens™ report says SíO PAULO, May 28, 2025--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Major Brazilian enterprises are demonstrating significant uses of core Microsoft AI technologies, signaling rapid adoption to come, according to a new research report published today by Information Services Group (ISG) (Nasdaq: III), a global AI-centered technology research and advisory firm. The 2025 ISG Provider Lens™ Microsoft AI and Cloud Ecosystem report for Brazil finds the country is well positioned to embrace the company's AI strategy through its Copilot, Copilot Devices and AI stack components. Microsoft has a strong presence and a mature ecosystem of partners in Brazil, complemented by a robust national IT infrastructure. "Microsoft is moving AI into the future, from speculation to practical applications," said Bill Huber, partner, digital platforms and solutions, for ISG. "Companies and ecosystem partners in Brazil are helping to turn this vision into reality." Brazil is benefiting from Microsoft's global strategy of investing in emerging markets, with the company recently expanding its data centers in the country, the report says. Brazil's rapidly growing technology sector and economic importance in Latin America make it a likely site for significant AI initiatives. Building on lessons from Microsoft initiatives in developing countries such as India, there is strong AI potential in sectors including agribusiness, financial services and health care. ISG expects increasing adoption of AI-based solutions in Brazil by large enterprises and technologically advanced sectors in the near term, followed by midsize companies using Copilot tools in the medium term and possibly a transformation of Brazilian business in the long term. Organizations in Brazil are expected to use Copilot's capabilities as a universal AI interface to make significant business impacts through linguistic and cultural adaptation, ISG says. By using Copilot to perform natural-language processing in Brazilian Portuguese and understand unique cultural contexts, companies may change the way users interact with technology and gain significant competitive advantage. Some large enterprises are already using Copilot to optimize processes specific to Brazil, including customer service, automated regulatory compliance and project management adapted to the local culture. In Brazil's tropical climate, some major companies have turned to Microsoft's local data centers for AI processing because they operate on renewable energy and use new cooling technologies, the report says. Microsoft's hybrid device strategy, supporting the use of PCs with built-in neural processing units (NPUs), is likely to prove important to AI use in Brazil, where Internet infrastructure is unevenly distributed. "AI has significant potential to help enterprises thrive in Brazil's unique culture, infrastructure and regulatory environment," said Jan Erik Aase, partner and global leader, ISG Provider Lens Research. "Companies and service providers have already seized on Microsoft's AI strengths to realize that vision." The report also examines other Microsoft-related trends in Brazil, including a fast-growing GitHub developer community and the increasing provider focus on vertical industry solutions. For more insights into enterprise challenges relevant to Microsoft services and solutions in Brazil, plus ISG's advice for addressing these, see the ISG Provider Lens™ Focal Points briefing here. ISG to Assess Finance and Accounting Outsourcing Providers

STAMFORD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Information Services Group (ISG) (Nasdaq: III), a global AI-centered technology research and advisory firm, has launched a research study examining providers of finance and accounting outsourcing (FAO) services, which are growing beyond their traditional cost-efficiency role and beginning to incorporate generative AI and agentic AI. As FAO evolves and extends its reach, technological advancement is more important than ever. GenAI and agentic AI allow service providers to introduce new capabilities and become full-fledged partners to forward-thinking enterprises. The study results will be published in a comprehensive ISG Provider Lens™ report, called Finance and Accounting Outsourcing (FAO) Services, scheduled to be released in September 2025. The report will cover companies offering services including accounts payable, order to cash (O2C) operations, recording and reporting of financial results, tax compliance and financial planning and analysis. Enterprise buyers will be able to use information from the report to evaluate current vendor relationships, potential new engagements and available offerings, while ISG advisors use the information to recommend providers to the firm's buy-side clients. Enterprises are turning to FAO for functions far beyond its traditional role of controlling costs. Increasingly, companies are outsourcing complex, high-value processes such as financial planning and tax compliance, which were once considered too strategic or complex to delegate, to FAO firms. They expect providers to serve as consultative partners that understand the business context well enough to enable increased agility and smart decision-making. 'As FAO evolves and extends its reach, technological advancement is more important than ever,' said Jan Erik Aase, partner and global leader, ISG Provider Lens Research. 'GenAI and agentic AI allow service providers to introduce new capabilities, including autonomous workflows and intelligent exception handling. FAO is becoming a full-fledged partner to forward-thinking enterprises.' ISG has distributed surveys to 48 FAO service providers serving the global market. Working in collaboration with ISG's global advisors, the research team will produce four quadrants representing the FAO services the typical enterprise is buying, based on ISG's experience working with its clients. The four quadrants are: Invoice to Pay (I2P), evaluating service providers that manage the full accounts payable lifecycle, from receipt of invoices to payment. Services include invoice capture and validation, master data maintenance and payment processing. Providers offer technologies such as AI and ML for exception handling and real-time analytics for compliance and decision-making. Order to Cash (O2C), assessing end-to-end O2C service providers that perform functions such as accounts receivable management, credit risk assessment, invoice generation and dispute resolution. Leading providers use automation, predictive analytics and big data to achieve rapid order fulfillment and other benefits. R2R and Tax Services, covering providers of record-to-report and tax services that help enterprises perform financial closing, reporting, reconciliation and indirect tax compliance. Providers use AI, automation and analytics to streamline operations and enhance accuracy. They can help enterprise finance leaders gain real-time insights and ensure compliance. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), evaluating providers of services such as budgeting, forecasting, planning and risk management. As enterprises outsource more strategic financial functions, these providers become partners delivering real-time insights that help them identify risks and opportunities. A report from the study will cover the global FAO market and examine available products and services. ISG analysts Gaurang Pagdi, Sneha Jayanth and Shilpashree N will serve as authors of the report. A list of identified providers and vendors and further details on the study are available in this digital brochure. Companies not listed as FAO providers can contact ISG and ask to be included in the study. All 2025 ISG Provider Lens™ evaluations feature expanded customer experience (CX) data that measures actual enterprise experience with specific provider services and solutions, based on ISG's continuous CX research. Enterprise customers wishing to share their experience about a specific provider or vendor are invited to complete this online survey. Participants will receive a copy of this report in return for their feedback.
