Malaysia's rap group 4U2C bringing back 90s flavour to reunion concert
25 Jun - First it was KRU, and then Elite announced that they too will be holding a concert. Now, Malaysia's first ever rap group 4U2C announced that they are set to hold their own concert on 15 September at the Idea Live Arena in Petaling Jaya. With the theme being "Bringin' Back Da 90's Flava", the event is organised by Juss Event and will reunite all seven original members; AC Mizal, Aren, Yanz, Rinz, Lanz, Charlie and Azam. Speaking about the upcoming concert, AC said that the idea was first suggested by his wife, Emylia Rosnaida prior to the offer made by the organiser. "For me, this is like a dream come true. I am thankful that the opportunity came at the right time. We promise to give the fans our best performances at the concert," he said, adding that the group will sing and dance on stage like they used to. "We were the first group to sing and dance on stage, and we want to continue to maintain that identity," he said. AC also said that he is thankful to KRU, seeing that the trio's highly successful GenKRU concert series back in May has created a path for 90s groups to hold their concerts as well. Tickets will begin selling on 30 June via Ticket Empire and Fantopia, with prices ranging from RM155 to RM555.

Additional VIP Standing Tickets For EXO Baekhyun's KL Concert Spark Safety Concerns
For concerts, fans would typically be excited to hear of additional ticket sales because that usually means more chances to see their favourite performer. However, adding seats isn't always the best move, especially for the crowd's safety. Yesterday (17th June 2025, Tuesday), the general sale for EXO (엑소) member Baekhyun's (백현) solo concert in Kuala Lumpur went live. Given his popularity, it's no surprise that most tickets sold out within hours. However, some eagle-eyed fans noticed that the concert organiser, iMe Malaysia, had added additional tickets for the VIP zone, bumping the total number of standing area tickets to roughly 3,800. While fans would usually be happy about additional tickets, this move sparked concern. For those unaware, Baekhyun's 'Reverie' concert in KL will take place at the newly-opened Idea Live Arena at 3 Damansara Mall. The live hall is said to be the second-largest indoor arena in Malaysia after Axiata Arena. It can accommodate up to 7,000 people in a seated and standing configuration or 5,000 seated attendees. Unfortunately, fans argue that the concert hall might not accommodate all 3,000 plus fans in the standing area because some noted that the standing zone is smaller in person. This matter sparked safety concerns, leading fans to express disappointment towards iMe Malaysia, alleging they prioritise profit over safety. Some fans also brought up a past incident where fans at Wanna One's fan-meeting in KL fainted due to overcrowding. However, one netizen did reach out to Idea Live Arena to ask about the capacity of the concert hall. According to the spokesperson from the venue, the standing area can accommodate around 4,000 to 4,500 people, depending on the stage and zone configuration. Idea Live Arena also assured them that there will still be adequate moving space, even with 4,000 people in the standing zone, thus meeting concert venue safety standards. Despite the clarification, fans are still unhappy with how iMe Malaysia decided to add additional seats at the last minute. The company has yet to address the issue. Until then, we can only advise concert-goers to be cautious during the show. What are your thoughts on this?
