'Promising signing' - Fans on Coppola plus views on transfers
Following the signing of Diego Coppola from Hellas Verona, we asked you for your thoughts on the are some of your comments:Tony: Coppola is tall, athletic and seemingly intelligent and capable with the ball. He could be a direct replacement in the middle of the defence for all-time favourite Lewis Looks like a promising signing. At 6ft 4in, he fits the physical criteria Hurzeler asked for, and at 21, he has plenty of room to develop. Can't go too wrong for the On paper this looks like a fantastic signing. Time will tell if the guy can fit in well at Brighton as some of our recent signings have struggled to establish the transfer window is now open again until 1 September, we also asked you to tell us one player you want Brighton to sign, and a player you want to be sold this are a selection of your comments:Simon: Joao Pedro can leave. He has been very good but we are very strong in his position. A bumper new contract for Kaoru Mitoma is the one signing we must achieve. Kaoru is on a different level to any other player and such a humble role model for the young The player I'd like out is Igor Julio, he is a player who is injury prone and can't get his way into the starting XI because of Jan Paul van Hecke's amazing season and Adam Webster's fill-in for Lewis Dunk. The player I would like Brighton to purchase is a striker but don't know who yet. Danny Welbeck can't play like he is now forever. I think we need to sign a striker that is able to be the next Welbeck. Maybe Jorgen Strand Larsen with his height and physicality in and around the Brighton need to sign Kyle Walker-Peters. Has represented England and is also versatile being able to play on both sides as a full-back. He is available on a free transfer and is a proven Premier League player. I believe that we should be looking to sell Joao Pedro. We have signed two young Greek forwards and Evan Ferguson will be returning from loan. With Joao Pedro's attitude problems and, at times, a lack of effort, I think this is the perfect time for him to step up to a higher level while we cash in on his talent. He is clearly a very gifted footballer but sometimes lacks the off the ball work that Fabian Hurzeler is looking For all the positives, Joao Pedro's value could fall if misbehaviour grows quicker than his goal tally. There's a few in England Under-21 shirts at the moment (Charlie Cresswell, Tino Livramento) that look tempting but maybe Brighton could afford Bryan Mbeumo?

Joao Pedro's preferred new club amid Newcastle and Chelsea transfer interest as Brighton team-mate reveals future plans
JOAO PEDRO has decided where he wants to move amid transfer interest from Newcastle and Chelsea. The striker could be on the way out of Brighton this summer after impressing for the Seagulls over the last two years. 2 He is likely to demand a significant fee and his options could be limited because of where he wants to play. Pedro's Brighton team-mate Igor Julio has revealed the Brazilian is keen on a move to London in a dent to Newcastle's ambitions. He told Trivela: 'Joao Pedro had already told Brighton some time ago that his desire was to leave, look for new things and take the next step. 'It seems it will be difficult and complicated for him to stay here, we have to be honest, the club already knows that he said in contact with the report via video call. 'He always told me that he really wants to live in London, so I think he will prioritise what comes from there first.' Julio believes Pedro should move to a Big Six club competing in the Champions League, so Chelsea could be ideal. But if the Blues want him this summer they might have to fork out a huge fee. Brighton slapped a £70m price tag on the 23-year-old but SunSport understands that they will be willing to do business for £59m. 2 Newcastle could try and sign him once again with Eddie Howe still a big admirer. Toon came close to landing Pedro two years ago, who has scored 30 goals in 70 games on the south coast since arriving for £30m from Watford.

Igor will have 'a lot of suitors wanting to take him' from Brighton
A number of clubs will try to sign defender Igor Julio this summer, according to the panel on BBC Radio Sussex's Albion Unlimited made just 13 Premier League appearances because of injuries last season, and with Brighton linked to a number of defenders it might not be a surprise to see him head the other host Cantor believes a number of clubs will not be put off by his lack of game time."Igor will probably have a lot of interest in him. I know he's been unlucky with injuries, but at times we saw good - particularly during the European campaign and then a partnership with Van Hecke - before the injury."We always say he looks like he's playing with a cigar in his mouth, but actually he's a very capable player. He's not too old. There should be plenty of people happy to take him if Albion decide to sell him."Former Seagulls forward Warren Aspinall added: "He's got a good pedigree under his belt. When he plays for Brighton, he's been very good barring the Leicester game. "Since then, he's come back from injury and slotted in well. He can play as a left-back too, so I think there will be a lot of suitors wanting to take him."You can listen to the full chat here
