Bahrain Hit 100 In UAE Win

Bahrain's senior men's national basketball team got their summer preparations off to a flying start with a 101–71 win over the UAE in a friendly at Khalifa Sports Hall on Monday.
The hosts looked sharp across four quarters, sharing the ball well and pushing the tempo throughout. With the William Jones Cup and Arab Championship around the corner, it was a performance that offered early confidence.

Head coach Ilias Zouros Foforis gave every player a runout, using the game to fine-tune combinations and build match rhythm. Bahrain's team play stood out, with strong communication and movement on both ends of the floor.
Bahrain will face the UAE again today at 5pm in a second friendly at the same venue — a final chance to get game-ready before they fly out to Taiwan on Wednesday.
