Govt holds roadshow in Delhi for UP International Trade Show

The Uttar Pradesh government organised a roadshow in Delhi on Friday, highlighting the preparations for the UP International Trade Show (UPITS), 2025. Held in collaboration with India Exposition Mart Limited, the roadshow highlighted the state's industrial strength, export potential, and locally crafted products to international buyers, industry leaders, and diplomatic officials. Principal Secretary, MSME (micro, small and medium enterprises) and Export Promotion, Alok Kumar said that UPITS is fast becoming a vital link between local entrepreneurs and global markets. Diplomatic delegates, exporters, procurement experts, and industry leaders from countries including Austria, Canada, Vietnam, Singapore, and Norway participated in the event. Highlights included B2B meetings, an ODOP showcase, an export promotion zone, and an introduction to the upcoming trade show's theme: 'Ultimate Sourcing Begins Here.' A series of roadshows has been planned across major cities in the country to highlight the third edition of the UP International Trade Show—scheduled from September 25 to 29, 2025 at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida. Upcoming roadshows are proposed in Telangana, Karnataka, Maharashtra, and Gujarat, with tentative dates including Hyderabad on July 11, Bengaluru on July 18, Mumbai on July 25, and Ahmedabad on July 30. The objective of this mega event is to highlight Uttar Pradesh's business potential, cultural richness, and spirit of innovation on the global stage. The trade show aims to unlock new opportunities in investment, exports, and entrepreneurship.

New Delhi: India Exposition Mart Limited ( IEML ), one of Asia's largest integrated exhibition and convention centres, has announced a strategic partnership in Garment Technology Expo Pvt Ltd to jointly organize the Garment Technology Expo ( GTE ). GTE is India's leading exhibition for garment manufacturing technology . It will be organised from November 7–9 November in Ahmedabad and followed by the Mega Annual exhibition from March 20-23 March at India Expo Centre and Mart, Greater Noida. 'This strategic partnership underscores IEML's commitment to nurturing industry-leading trade fairs and fostering innovation-driven growth. GTE has emerged as a pivotal platform for garment technology in India and the region,' said Rakesh Kumar, chairman, IEML. The GTE expo will be the central hub to showcase the latest advancements in garment technology, automation, sustainable practices, and smart manufacturing solutions . Enhanced conference programmes, workshops, and seminars will provide invaluable insights and foster knowledge sharing among industry stakeholders. This collaboration aims to leverage the strengths of both entities to deliver an unparalleled experience for the garment and textile industry. The objective of the partnership is to make the Garment Technology Expo an even more comprehensive, innovative, and impactful platform for showcasing cutting-edge technologies, fostering business connections, and driving growth within the sector, IEML said. The partnership will facilitate a larger exhibition footprint by extending GTE to different cities, accommodating more exhibitors, products, and technology showcases . IEML, with its vast understanding of organising international standard events like UPITS, UMIS, IHE, IFEX, Bharat tex, will infuse technology-based solutions to enhance the participation experience for exhibitors and visitors. 'Joint marketing efforts will expand the event's reach, attracting a more diverse and international audience of industry professionals,' it said. The last edition of the GTE at IEML witnessed an overwhelming response, attracting over 12,500 trade visitors from 20 Countries spread over 12,000 square meters.

Greater Noida gears up for Bharat Education Expo 2025

Greater Noida: The second edition of Bharat Education Expo 2025 is all set to be organised from April 24 to 26 at the India Expo Centre and Mart in Knowledge Park, Greater Noida, officials said on Monday. The event is being organised by India Exposition Mart Limited with support from the Uttar Pradesh government's higher education department and the Greater Noida authority. 'The initiative plays a crucial role in positioning the district as a prominent knowledge hub in the national capital region and to highlight the quality education being delivered through modern technologies,' said Manglesh Dubey, additional DM (administration), GB Nagar, at a press conference on Monday. The 2025 edition is likely to witness participation from over 100 exhibitors representing various segments of the education sector. These will include universities, colleges, edtech startups, coaching institutes, study abroad consultants, and service providers in education loans and scholarships. Spread across 7,000 square meters, the event will feature cutting-edge technologies, world-class academic systems, and student-centric services, officials said. Additionally, the expo will host a wide array of engaging activities and competitions such as Creathon (Ideathon, Hackathon, Startathon, Codethon), Robo Race, Robo Soccer, Drone Shows, and IT demonstrations. Interactive workshops on robotics and nature, singing competitions for students, quizzes on science, technology and business, and a special counselling zone for higher education and careers will also be part of the programme.
