A man from West Bengal is now under police scanner after sharing photos of himself with his "friends from Pakistan," posing with photos, uploaded by the man from Nadia district on his Facebook story, showed him with others holding what seemed to be AK-47-style rifles. The story was captioned "Pakistani bhaiya", triggering alarm bells as the country remains on high alert following the recent Pahalgam terror swung into action after screenshots of the photos were flagged to senior officials. "The young man is currently under the scanner. A case has already been registered at the Krishnagar Kotwali police station on Saturday. An investigation has been launched. His Facebook profile is being thoroughly scrutinised by the detectives," a top official of the West Bengal Police told India to police sources, "the youth was immediately identified by sources soon after the police received the suspicious photos. He was last seen in his village during the last Eid. His parents are being questioned by the police.
