Infinix Xpad GT review
Last year Infinix launched the Xpad tablet with mid-range specs at an incredibly affordable price. This year, the slate is getting a more powerful big brother aimed at gaming and streaming - the Infinix Xpad GT. The Infinix Xpad GT brings a 13.0-inch LCD screen with 2,880 x 1,840 pixels, 10-bit color depth, 144Hz refresh rate, and HDR10 support. It is powered by the Snapdragon 888 chip paired with 8GB RAM. There is no cellular option. The Xpad GT also has eight speakers, there is a 13MP rear camera with an LED flash, and a massive 10,000mAh battery capable of 33W charging. The only obvious shortcoming on the spec sheet is that the tablet arrives with Android 14 out of the box. Unboxing the Infinix Xpad GT The Infinix Xpad GT ships inside a thick paper box. In addition to the tablet itself, the package includes a 33W charger, a USB cable, and a book cover that doubles as a tablet stand. Infinix also supplies a pair of Earpods-like wired headset with USB-C connection, and a USB-C-to-3.5mm adapter. According to Infinix, the tablet comes with FM radio so having the headphones plugged would be required to get it working. However, we didn't find any FM radio app preinstalled so we couldn't test how well this works. Page 2

Infinix Xpad GT gaming tablet unveiled with 13" 144Hz display and Snapdragon 888
The Infinix Xpad is an affordable 4G-connected tablet from last year. Now the company is introducing a GT model, which is aimed at gamers on a budget and it achieves its value-for-money goal with an unexpected pick for a chipset. The Infinix Xpad GT is powered by the Snapdragon 888 – yes, the 5nm chip from the end of 2021 that powered so many flagship phones back in its day. The chip is paired with a large vapor chamber for cooling, 8GB of RAM and 256GB storage. While the Adreno 660 is no spring chicken, it still promises high frame rate gaming. Infinix claims that the Xpad GT can deliver 144fps on Standoff 2, 120fps on Honor of Kings and Mobile Legends and 90fps on PUBG. The tablet is equipped with a large 13' display with 144Hz refresh rate. It's a 10-bit panel with HDR10 support, 2,880 x 1,840px resolution and 700 nits peak brightness. For gaming and streaming, the tablet features 8 speakers and 3D sound with DTS processing. There's no headphone jack, but Infinix has included a USB-C to 3.5mm adapter and a vegan leather protective case in the box. The GT slate has a slender metal body that measures 6.5mm thick and houses a 10,000mAh battery. That battery supports 33W charging. There is a 13MP camera on the back and a 9MP camera on the front.
