Iraqi Chamber of Commerce named Best Performing National Committee for 2025
Paris ( – The Iraqi Chamber of Commerce has received the prestigious award for 'Best Performing National Committee' in the world from the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC). The honor was bestowed during the ICC Annual Week held in Paris from June 17-20, 2025.
According to a statement from the Union of Iraqi Chambers of Commerce, the award recognizes the Iraqi committee's 'efficient and effective' implementation of its 2024-2025 annual plan, reflecting Iraq's commitment to enhancing its position on the global trade map.
This significant recognition comes as Iraq celebrates the first anniversary of its official full membership in the ICC, which it joined in 2024. The ICC, founded in 1919, is the world's largest business organization.
The Iraqi delegation (ICC Iraq) participated in the week-long series of events in Paris, which gathered over 60 national committees and included conferences on global trade policy and entrepreneurship. The effort is supported by Iraq's Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Trade, underscoring a national push to build strategic partnerships and improve the business environment.
