The Wrong Paris OTT Release Date: When and where to watch Miranda Cosgrove and Pierson Fodé's romantic comedy

The Wrong Paris OTT Release Date: Miranda Cosgrove is heading to Paris, or at least she thinks she is, in The Wrong Paris, a light-hearted romantic comedy that's all set to premiere on Netflix on September 12, 2025. But this isn't your typical love story set against the backdrop of the Eiffel Tower. Instead, it's about a girl who dreams of France and ends up in Texas. Yes, seriously. The Wrong Paris' plot overview The film follows Cosgrove's character, Dawn, a struggling artist desperate for a break and hoping to land a spot in a prestigious Parisian art program. When a reality TV dating show offers an all-expenses-paid trip to Paris as a prize, she signs up faster than you can say "bonjour." The catch? It turns out the producers meant Paris, Texas, not the City of Love in France. Dawn's hopes are dashed in a flash, and the whole thing feels like a bad prank. Her plan is simple: get eliminated and go home. But things get complicated when she meets Trey, played by the charming Pierson Fodé, the show's leading man who might just be worth sticking around for. The Wrong Paris' cast and crew The Wrong Paris is directed by Janeen Damian, who has previously worked on Netflix's Irish Wish, and written by Nicole Henrich. It's produced by romantic-comedy veteran Brad Krevoy through MPCA (Motion Picture Corporation of America). Cosgrove herself also serves as an executive producer. Production wrapped in late 2024, and everything points to a breezy, charming vibe. Alongside Cosgrove and Fodé, the cast features a bunch of familiar faces, including Madison Pettis, Madeleine Arthur, Frances Fisher, Yvonne Orji, Torrance Coombs, Hannah Stocking, and Emilija Baranac. Filming took place in Vancouver and Agassiz, British Columbia, standing in for the small-town Texan setting. If you're into feel-good movies that don't take themselves too seriously but still manage to tell a meaningful story, The Wrong Paris might just be your thing. Mark your calendar, September 12, on Netflix is when it all drops.

Lindsay Lohan Reveals the ‘Selfish' Reason She's Ready for Another Baby

Lindsay Lohan is busier than ever. Her highly anticipated Freaky Friday sequel is releasing this August, she was just announced as star and executive producer of a TV series Count My Lies, and, oh yeah, she's raising her almost 2-year-old son Luai with husband Bader Shammas. Still, she wants to be a little bit 'selfish' — and she just revealed she's ready for baby number two. The Mean Girls alum, who is the cover star of Elle in a new feature released online today, shared that she wants another baby. 'I feel like we live in a different world now, where women make it such a point, especially in motherhood, to make time for ourselves,' Lohan said. 'We make it important.' It's true — and it's a good thing, even! — but at the same time, sometimes it's OK for moms to overextend themselves just a little bit for your kids. More from SheKnows Lindsay Lohan Finally Spoke Out About the Plastic Surgery Rumors & It's More Direct Than We Expected 'But also, once you have one kid, you're like, 'Oh, my kid needs a kid to play with,'' she continued, adding, 'I'm like, 'He needs a friend.' Even though things are chaotic, she wants to go through it all again with another baby so her child will have at least one sibling. Which make sense! Lohan has three younger siblings herself, so it makes sense she wants more kids. I come from a family of six, and my first two kids were 18 months apart because I wanted my oldest to have a sibling as well. In the interview, Lohan said 'there's nothing like [the bond of siblings].' But there is also a more 'selfish' reason for wanting another baby. 'Also, I don't know if it's selfish — but I'm like, 'I need more than one kid to take care of me when I'm older,'' she said. Personally, I don't think she's selfish at all! I'm thankful that I have many siblings to help share the load of caring for my parents when they're older too. This isn't the first time Lohan has talked about more kids. In an interview on TODAY with her Irish Wish co-star Ayesha Curry in March 2024, Lohan said, per PEOPLE, 'of course I do' about having more kids. 'Do you want four like Ayesha?' host Hoda Kotb asked. 'I mean, you never know,' Lohan responded. 'Let's go for a second first. But I love having siblings. I feel so blessed to have other siblings to be able to hang with and talk to and relate with. I would love to have more. I want my son to have that same experience.' So sweet! One thing's for sure: Lohan is glowing since becoming a mom. She told Elle in the interview today, 'It's the most important thing — my husband, my son, and me,' The Parent Trap star said. 'It's all about balance and, as I said, routine. Especially when you have a kid, routine is the most important thing. And whatever their routine is, I've got to live by that.' Lindsay Lohan quits Netflix rom-coms for good after 'manifesting' her next role

Lindsay Lohan has no plans to make anymore rom-coms in the future, after 'manifesting' her partnership with Netflix. The Mean Girls icon is currently preparing to grace the big screen once again in upcoming Freaky Friday sequel, Freakier Friday – which will be released on August 8. Having been in the spotlight since the age of 12, thanks to her dual role in the Parent Trap, she previously took a step back to focus on herself, and started a new life in Dubai with husband Bader Shammas. In recent years, the 38-year-old switched things up and led the way in three films on the streaming platform, 2022's Falling for Christmas, and Irish Wish and Our Little Secret – which both came out last year. When asked about her return to acting, dubbed the Lohanassaince by loyal fans, Lindsay told Elle Magazine: 'It was really Netflix. And I was manifesting it. During Covid, I was like, 'I want to work with Netflix.' I kept writing it in my journal and saying it. And then that's what happened. 'I was like, 'Oh, it'd be nice to do three films with them, and then see where that goes. And then I definitely want to do my first feature back with Disney.' So I manifested that, and I'm manifesting this movie now.' However, unpacking her comeback, the Just My Luck actress – who welcomed son Luai with the financier in 2023 – confirmed that she is officially stepping out of her Netflix rom-com era and looking ahead to other projects. 'I always want to make movies like that – things that make people happy and bring people together,' she continued. 'I love making movies for that reason – for people to escape and find something that they can take into their own life and realize everything's going to be okay. 'But with Netflix, I was like, 'Okay, now we need to be thinking about other stuff.' I can't do movies like these forever.' Lindsay left us all delighted when she popped up as a spoiled hotel heiress in 2022 flick Falling for Christmas, alongside Chord Overstreet, cementing her return to Hollywood. She worked with the streamer on a further two projects, taking on the role of unlucky in love singleton Maddie in Irish Wish, and starring as businesswoman Avery in Our Little Secret. Next, she will be reuniting with Jamie Lee Curtis and Chad Michael Murray for the eagerly-anticipated Freaky Friday sequel, after manifesting the Disney flick, and then wants to get stuck into some 'meatier' projects. Shedding light on what we could expect next, Lindsay teased: 'I would love to find a dark comedy like Mean Girls. That kind of meaty, good, funny movie – a smart comedy. More Trending 'Not a rom-com, just a straightforward funny movie. I'm excited to be doing this drama. I'd love to work with some dream directors.' She named Quentin Tarantino, Julianne Moore, Robert De Niro and Al Pacino as people she would love to share a set with, suggesting that she could pop up in 'something Sopranos-y, since I am Italian'.
