49ers sign WR Andy Isabella

Running back Ameer Abdullah wasn't the only player to land a job with the 49ers after a Wednesday workout. Video from the team's Thursday practice shows that wide receiver Andy Isabella is in uniform and taking part in the session. Isabella was last in the NFL as a member of the Steelers' practice squad last season. He spent time in the UFL earlier this year. Isabella's last regular season action came in two games with the Bills in 2023. He played two games for the Ravens in 2022 and had 33 catches for 347 yards and three touchdowns in 39 games for the Cardinals. The 49ers are waiting for Brandon Aiyuk to return from a torn ACL and Jauan Jennings has been daling with a calf injury.

49ers adding former All-American to their WR room

Through the first week of their 2025 training camp at the SAP Performance Facility in Santa Clara, California, the San Francisco 49ers are struggling to keep their wide receivers on the field. San Francisco's top wideout, Brandon Aiyuk, started camp on the PUP list after tearing his ACL in 2024. Ricky Pearsall started off on PUP, and while he's come off, he's been on and off the field as the team manages his hamstring injury. Jacob Cowing and Jauan Jennings are also dealing with injuries of their own that have kept them off the practice field. While the 49ers try to find players for quarterback Brock Purdy to throw to, they're adding another after a successful workout on Wednesday, as NFL insider Jordan Schultz reported that they're signing Andy Isabella. Isabella, 28, was a beast at UMass from 2015-18, catching 231 passes for 3,526 yards and 30 touchdowns in 45 games and earning Consensus All-American honors in his final season that saw him haul in 102 passes for 1,698 yards and 13 scores. The Arizona Cardinals selected Isabella in the second round (No. 62 overall) of the 2019 NFL draft, but he hasn't had the same success in the pros. Since the Cardinals waived him in the middle of his fourth season, he's had stints with the Baltimore Ravens, Buffalo Bills and Pittsburgh Steelers. In 43 NFL games, Isabella has recorded just 33 receptions for 447 yards and three touchdowns while also getting limited opportunities as both a punt and kick returner. With the 49ers not only expected to sign Isabella but running back Ameer Abdullah as well, they'll have to make two corresponding moves to open up spots on the their 90-man roster. At this point, San Francisco's wide receiver room includes Aiyuk (injured), Pearsall (injured), Jennings (injured), Cowing (injured, Jordan Watkins, Demarcus Robinson, Russell Gage, Isaiah Hodgins, Isaiah Neyor, Junior Bergen, Malik Knowles, Terique Owens and Equanimeous St. Brown. Dubai man hangs a Ferrari from his ceiling and calls it his 'new chandelier'!

Dubai has always been associated with luxury, wealth and people's flamboyant choices. Recently, a Dubai-based entrepreneur and content creator caught everyone's attention with an extraordinary home decoration idea with a unique chandelier. This choice quickly went viral, also giving rise to safety concerns. Dubai content creator's unusual chandelier Mohamed Beiraghdary, known as MoVlogs on social media, teamed up with the group @ to create his 'new chandelier.' Which is the centerpiece of his home decor. His chandelier comes in the form of a Ferrari-style jet car worth about $5,00,000, roughly ₹4.3 crore, hanging from his ceiling. The Instagram video shows the car being carefully lifted and installed in his home, making it extremely unique for the viewers online. Social media reactions The video quickly amassed over 23 million views and 800,000 likes, getting appreciation and criticism. While many praised the uniqueness of turning a luxury car into a statement piece, others seemed to be unsure about it and its authenticity. Some viewers believe the car might be a model or replica worth much less, somewhere around $50,000, instead of a full-priced Ferrari. One user commented, 'It's not even that. Some users were also concerned, even expressing concern about safety l, especially during events like earthquakes, saying that the car might even end up falling. Some users also criticised the car by calling it a mere toy, 'Looks horrible, like a plastic toy hanging. Should've got a crashed one and turned that into a chandelier,' reflected a mix of humor and criticism. This is not the first time that a car has been put to use bizarrely This flashy chandelier isn't the first time luxury cars have been a part of the luxurious Dubai lifestyle. Previously, an Indian businessman based in Dubai had gifted his one-year-old daughter a custom-made Rolls-Royce. What really stole hearts, though, was that the car's nameplate read, 'Congratulations, Isabella,' referring to the little girl. On the floor of the car, a small note revealed the special effort behind the gift: the car had been custom-made in England for the toddler and then shipped to the UAE just for the occasion. To top it off, the plush seats inside were monogrammed with Isabella's initials, adding a sweet and elegant finishing touch.

Denmark's Princess Isabella could move to Australia after pal Princess Ingrid-Alexandra of Norway confirms Sydney move

Princess Isabella of Denmark is reportedly considering a move to her mother's native Australia just months after another major royal revealed plans to move to Sydney. Isabella, who recently marked her milestone 18th birthday, is the elder daughter of King Frederik and Aussie-born Queen Mary. According to Danish tabloid Billed Bladet, the Princess is reportedly considering moving to Mary's native Australia to study or enjoy a gap year before commencing royal duties and completing military service. 'There may be a possibility that Princess Isabella will follow in her mother's footsteps,' the outlet revealed on Tuesday. Isabella is widely tipped to take on full royal duties in future in support of her parents and later her brother Crown Prince Christian. The Danish Princess knows Australia well and has enjoyed many family holidays in her mother's native Tasmania. Meanwhile, her cousin Count Nikolai of Monpezat studied for a semester at the University of Technology Sydney in 2023. The report comes months after it was confirmed Norway's Princess Ingrid Alexandra will move to Australia in August to begin a three-year undergraduate degree at the University of Sydney. 'Her Royal Highness Princess Ingrid Alexandra will begin her studies at the University of Sydney in August, enrolling in a Bachelor of Arts program,' the Norwegian Palace said in a press release in May. It is understood Ingrid Alexandra and Isabella are close, with Isabella's father King Frederik serving as Ingrid Alexandra's godfather. Isabella's possible move down under would be only the latest in a long line of international royals who have completed part or all of their education in Australia. Thailand's reigning King Vajiralongkorn spent several years studying in Australia in the 1970s, while King Charles spent two terms at Geelong Grammar School in 1966. The report comes months after Isabella earned high praise in the Danish press after making her first major public speech during her birthday celebrations. Danish publication BT's entertainment editor Fie West praised the young royal for using humour to break the ice during the historic occasion. 'Princess Isabella shows great initiative by starting her very first official speech with a joke,' West said. 'She speaks into something that many Danes remember and have brought a smile to their faces, and it is extremely charming that she displays self-irony.'
