MarineMax opens South Florida marina
MarineMax more than doubled its marina footprint through the acquisition of Fort Lauderdale-based Island Global Yachting in a $480 million deal in 2022. IGY added a portfolio of 23 marinas in hot yacht destinations in the Americas, the Caribbean and Europe. The company also expanded MarineMax's yacht management platform and superyacht services capabilities.
