Shop Sabrina Carpenter‘s Yellow Polka Dot Bikini Here
Sabrina Carpenter is having herself a polka-dot girl summer. On July 17, the singer posted a TikTok featuring her pals Paloma Sandoval and Amber Mark—as well as the cutest yellow polka-dot bikini, which had everyone sliding into her comments asking, 'Hi, where did you get that???' Well, after scouring the internet, I have an answer: Sab is wearing the Lana Skimpy Triangle Bikini Top and matching Lacey Micro Bikini Bottom in lemon dot from Frankies Bikinis. You're welcome!! Btw, it seems like all the It Girls are wearing Frankies Bikinis this summer. Bella Hadid, for instance, has been rocking swimsuits from her collab with the brand, like this gingham stunner (which is, sadly, sold out): And then there's Kylie Jenner, who's shown off pieces from the Khy x Frankies Bikinis collection (which dropped on July 16), like this adorable currently-out-of-stock polka-dot suit: Oh, and Dua Lipa is also a fan, as evidenced by this recent snap she posted wearing this almost-sold-out cherry bikini from the Réalisation Par collab: Yes, they're a little spensy, but I can personally attest that suits from Frankies Bikinis are v much worth the investment. Brb, adding Sabrina's yellow 'kini to my collection before it inevitably goes out of stock like all the others!!

Lorde Demonstrates How To Dress Up The Boxer Short Trend In NYC
NEW YORK, NY – JUNE 24: Lorde is seen on June 24, 2025 in New York City. (Photo by XNY/Star Max/GC Images) Boxer shorts: once the domain of pyjama drawers and lazy Sunday lounging, now the cool girl's hot weather staple. The latest A-lister to embrace the trend? None other than Lorde, who took to the streets of New York this week in a look that deftly reimagines off-duty city dressing with a pared-back ease. The singer donned a checked pair in a subtle earthy brown hue—thought to be from Deiji Studios—with a loose beige t-shirt and sharp black pointed pumps, piecing together an outfit that's as nonchalant as it is on-trend. Minimal accessories, including brown rectangular sunglasses and tousled hair, kept the mood relaxed. NEW YORK, NY – JUNE 24: Lorde is seen on June 24, 2025 in New York City. (Photo by XNY/Star Max/GC Images) Boxers may be having a moment, but the art lies in balancing their innate softness with contrasting pieces, as perfectly demonstrated by Lorde. By pairing the playful silhouette with heels and a clean-cut tee, the New Zealand native elevates the ensemble from sleepwear-adjacent to city-ready. It's a styling move we've seen from fellow It-girls—Hailey Bieber, Kendall Jenner and Emily Ratajkowski, among them—but Lorde's take feels especially streamlined, even grown-up. The beauty of the boxer shorts lies in their breathability—particularly appealing as the northern summer scorches on—and their styling potential. Whether worn with oversized shirting, sporty tanks, or even a sharply tailored blazer or coat, they're a piece with surprising potential for polish and layering. Particularly as we ready ourselves for Euro Summers or winter weekend sojourns, these versatile bottoms certainly fulfil the brief. Shop our edit of boxer shorts below. Liz Hurley's 'ageing in reverse' after 'subtle but significant' image change
Elizabeth Hurley today celebrates her 60th birthday, but the actress often leaves fans blown away with her youthful appearance and glowing skin but has had a 'subtle' change Elizabeth Hurley's "subtle" transformation has not gone unnoticed. The actress and model, 60, often leaves fans speechless with her risqué social media snaps and stunning red carpet appearances. But as she enters her seventh decade, the Austin Powers star's appearance is somewhat conflicting as she looks worlds away from her younger self, while also looking more radiant than ever. Elizabeth has always been vocal about her dislike for excessive cosmetic surgery and has taken pride in not going under the knife. "I think it just makes you look like you've got filler. It's not my cup of tea," she previously said when asked if she was a fan of having too much work done. But a leading dentist has suggested that Liz may have had a subtle tweak to her teeth, which is relatively unnoticeable. When she first found fame in the Ninties, Elizabeth was known for her charming, natural, gap-toothed smile, which dazzled as she posed for photographers. Nowadays, her smile stands out amongst the crowd and is a testament to her style evolution. Dr Rizwan Mahmood, co-founder of Ruh Dental, believes that Elizabeth's change is "subtle but significant" and is a "textbook example of how dental work can enhance, not overhaul." Speaking to the Mirror, he said: "Elizabeth Hurley's smile transformation is a masterclass in natural refinement. "She hasn't gone for a cookie-cutter Hollywood look. Instead, it appears she's had light orthodontic correction, possibly bonding or veneers, and professional whitening, all while maintaining the unique character of her smile." In her earlier years of fame, Elizabeth's teeth had a slight gap, and Dr Mahmood noticed irregular edges that appear to have been smoothed out over the years. He adds: "It's not about chasing perfection, it's about preserving identity while boosting confidence, and that's exactly what we see with Liz." While many new stars often dazzle on social media, it was Elizabeth who led the way as one of the original It Girls, following her relationship with Love Actually heartthrob, Hugh Grant. The Basingstoke beauty, who frequently showcases her gym-honed physique for her adoring fans, was catapulted to worldwide fame when she stepped out at a film premiere in 1994. Elizabeth joined Hugh Grant at the premiere for Four Weddings and A Funeral – a film she wasn't in – but still captivated everyone's attention. She wore a bold Versace dress, featuring deep splits down the sides, with just gold safety pins holding the black outfit in place. Aged just 29, Elizabeth wasn't a household name at the time, but this soon changed. Speaking of the night, she joked: "I promise I didn't mean to steal the show!" But prior to this, she was actually left rather embarrassed after a string of designers refused to dress her for the event. Speaking in a 2019 BBC documentary, Grant said: "Someone told us: Oh, you can borrow things from top designers. Poor Elizabeth rang some top designers, and they all said, 'No, who are you?' or 'No, we're not lending you anything.'" Eventually, it was Versace who decided to dress Elizabeth, which would change the trajectory of her career. "Only in England could a saucy dress have such an astounding effect," she previously said of the dress.

Has the 'It Girl' Era Killed Real Individuality?
There's no denying that 'It Girl' energy is magnetic. It's confidence in motion and it's incredibly empowering to have role models who radiate that presence. For a lot of women, that energy becomes a source of inspiration, a reminder that we're allowed to take up space, to glow, to be unapologetically ourselves. Whether it's Amal Clooney in the courtroom or Tara Emad walking the red carpet in effortless glam, that energy inspires. But here's the thing: when that same energy turns into an online trend, it stops being empowering and starts being performative. In Egypt's pop culture, we've seen versions of the 'It Girl' before social media gave it a name. Remember Nelly in Nelly with Sherihan? With the loud outfits, chaotic confidence, and sharp comebacks, she didn't walk, she stormed. Or Lana in Bimbo, the mysterious cool girl energy wrapped in edge and eyeliner. Even Donia Samir Ghanem in Lahfa gave us a comedic spin on the girl trying to 'make it' but still wanting to be that girl while doing it. Social media didn't just give us 'It Girls,' it gave us a checklist. The outfit. The skincare routine. The almond-shaped nails. The lifestyle looks effortlessly aesthetic. The pressure to keep up doesn't feel like pressure anymore, it feels like survival, and if you don't keep pace with every new trend, you're invisible. Outdated. Left out. And in trying to stay relevant, we end up shape-shifting so much that we forget what we even liked before the algorithm told us who to be. The 'It Girl' was supposed to be aspirational. But when every feed starts looking the same when every personality becomes a remix of the same few templates, where does individuality go? This isn't a call to cancel the 'It Girl.' It's a reminder that being inspired is great until it starts erasing you. And in the end, we all know the most unforgettable people, they never followed the script.
