‘Harry Potter' movies to be screened in select PH cinemas this August
Potterheads are in for a magical treat this August! On social media, SM Cinema announced that all eight films from the beloved 'Harry Potter' franchise will be screened on August 16–17 and August 30–31 in select SM Cinema branches nationwide. According to the post, fans can watch the first four installments — 'Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone,' 'Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets,' 'Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban,' and 'Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" —on the weekend of August 16 and 17. Meanwhile, the other four movies, namely 'Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix,' 'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince,' 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1,' and 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2' will be screened on the weekend of August 30 and 31. Tickets are priced at P275 per movie for Metro Manila cinemas and P230 for provincial cinemas. Tickets are available via SM Cinema online and select SM Cinema ticket booths nationwide. Dobbins in April, creating an unconventional offseason for the running back. After receiving that tender, Dobbins had until training camp to strike a deal with another club. If he did not reach an agreement before July 22, the Chargers would have had exclusive negotiating rights with Dobbins, and his tender was only worth $1.64 million. After signing a one-year deal with a division rival, Dobbins has an opportunity to earn up to $5.25 million with the Denver Broncos this fall. Dobbins is now set to return to L.A. in Week 3, and then face his old team again when the Broncos host the Chargers in Week 18 (view the full schedule). Will he have a chip on his shoulder going up against his old club? 'I always have a chip on my shoulder, but that was a little weird," Dobbins said after his first practice in Denver. "It's a business. It's for my agent to handle. Good luck to [the Chargers]. I'm a Bronco now. They have to see me twice a year. That's my thoughts on it. I'm going to have the chip on my shoulder, of course, but I'm here. "I'm worried about winning more than just beating — I don't want to just beat the Chargers. J.K. Dobbins posts Photoshop in Broncos uniform: 'We're going to do great things' Just hours after officially signing a one-year contract with the Denver Broncos on Wednesday, new running back J.K. Dobbins was out on the practice field for his first session with his new club. 'It felt amazing," Dobbins said after Wednesday's practice. "It's a true blessing to me. I'm so happy to be here. We're going to do great things this year.' Dobbins, 26, received an unrestricted free agent tender from the Los Angeles Chargers in April, but he was still allowed to negotiate with other clubs leading up to training camp. After visiting the Broncos' facility last week, he returned to Denver this week to finalize a deal. 'I'm a pretty patient person, and I was just feeling it out," Dobbins said. "[I was] letting everything play out how it's supposed to be. It was a little stressful with some things that happened in there, but I knew I was going to get to where I needed to be. I am where I need to be.' After his first two days with the club, Dobbins shared a preview of what he'll look like in a Broncos uniform on his Instagram page. 'I felt like it was the best fit for me," Dobbins said when asked why he signed with Denver. "The defense is really good — like super good. The quarterback is amazing. I like the [running back] room. [The offensive] line is amazing as well. It was a no-brainer — and Coach Sean Payton and all the other coaches on staff, too. I know I'll get coached well here. I also heard that it's a good fan base. That's why I'm here.' Dobbins to a one-year contract, Denver now has six running backs on their 90-man* offseason roster: Dobbins, RJ Harvey, Audric Estime, Jaleel McLaughlin, Tyler Badie and Blake Watson. Harvey and Dobbins are poised to serve as the top two backs in 2025, but how the rotation shakes out behind them remains to be seen. To make room for Dobbins on the roster, the Broncos waived long snapper Zach Triner in a corresponding move. Triner was brought in to handle long-snapping duties while Mitchell Fraboni recovered from back surgery. *Note that Denver has an extra 91st spot on the roster because Australian-born punter Jeremy Crawshaw gets an offseason roster exemption as part of the NFL's international player pathway program. With that caveat in mind, here's a look at the team's roster going into minicamp.
