JAGGAER has announced the launch of JAI, a major advancement in enterprise procurement transformation. JAI, pronounced 'Jay,' is a human-guided AI orchestrator that supports procurement teams with intelligent navigation and contextual decision-making.
JAI is not just an assistant. It acts as a digital partner designed to enhance enterprise value and streamline operations. JAGGAER reported that JAI is embedded into the JAGGAER One platform and represents an evolution of JAGGAER Assist.
The company revealed that JAI is powered by large language models (LLMs). It features a conversational interface, question-and-answer capabilities, and supports tasks such as PO invoice anomaly detection and generative AI summarization.
JAGGAER stated that JAI improves end-user experiences across the platform with intuitive features and a 'Human in the Loop' approach. Customers can now use JAI Assist, which answers questions, guides navigation, and initiates tasks like RFP creation and supplier evaluation.
Looking ahead to 2025, JAGGAER will introduce: JAI Copilot: Offers advanced contextual support and real-time sourcing guidance.
JAI Autopilot: A no-code/low-code agentic AI platform for autonomous procurement workflows.
The company confirmed that upcoming features will enable full orchestration of intelligent tools. These will cover forecasting, spend management, contract handling, and RFx automation through a unified conversational interface.
JAGGAER emphasized that JAI enables users to act as strategic overseers while the system executes both adaptive and structured workflows. It coordinates across sourcing, contracting, and category strategy domains.
'Today, we're not launching a feature we're activating the intelligence foundation for JAGGAER's future,' said Jon Lawrence, Chief Product Officer at JAGGAER. He added that JAI is intended to scale expertise, accelerate outcomes, and redefine value delivery in procurement.
