The two former Athlone Town players are both in line for their debuts in Tralee, with winger McDaid signing for the Lilywhites on Tuesday to join full back Wilson, whose arrival was announced back on June 14.

The 26-year-old full back is closing in on 200 career appearances having previously lined out for Bohemians, Shelbourne, Bray Wanderers, Sligo Rovers and, most recently, Athlone Town – where he played 15 games this season before his release last month as part of cost-cutting measures at the Midlands club.
