Bhumi Pednekar: Love is beautiful, but complex
Bhumi Pednekar Bhumi Pednekar , known for her strong and unconventional roles, has rarely ventured into traditional romance on screen. Speaking about her selective approach to the genre, she says, 'I will only be a part of the genre when the story has more to say than just boy-meets-girl and they fall in love. Having said that, it's a very beautiful emotion. I am not trying to undermine that. I just think love is one of the greatest things that can happen to any individual. But it is also complicated and complex. So, I like being a part of stories that show multiple shades.' 'Everybody goes through complex love situations' Ask Bhumi whether she calls love 'complicated and complex' based on her personal experiences, and she says, 'I think everybody goes through complex love situations. It is not just about what I have gone through, but what I have heard from my friends, people within my family and my parents. I think growing up, you completely dehumanise your parents, but as you grow up, you realise how sensitive and complex their relationship was and how they made it work. At times, couples don't make it work. Today, there is such pressure about relationships not working out. But at times it can also be celebrated because maybe that is the best thing that happened for individuals that were in it.' by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like I Babysat My Grandkids Daily for Free. Without revealing anything, she says, 'I think a romcom is a perfect comeback genre for Imran, because when he was actively working, he was known for that genre. I had a crush on him. For me, Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na was a transformational film,' says Bhumi, who was recently seen opposite Ishaan Khatter in the web show The Royals.

Genelia Deshmukh says long film hours are ‘tough but doable' as Deepika Padukone's 'Spirit' exit fuels debate
As discussions around working conditions in the film industry continue, actor Genelia Deshmukh has shared her view on long working hours, saying that while the job is tough, it can be managed with proper understanding and flexibility. The 'Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na' actress spoke about this on a recent interview. Speaking to Zoom, Genelia explained that working long hours is part of the process for actors, especially when schedules are tight. 'It is tough but it is not impossible. I do work for 10 hours a day and there are days when the director asks to extend it to 11 or 12 hours,' she said. Genelia added, 'I think it's fair but we just need time to make those adjustments. When you have a day or two where you have to overdo, it's also an understanding and a process that needs to be done.' Her comments come as the issue of working hours in the film industry has sparked fresh debate, especially after reports of Deepika Padukone leaving the upcoming film. 'Spirit'. According to reports, Deepika had made a few key demands before walking away from the project. These included an eight-hour workday, a share in the film's profits, and not having to deliver her lines in Telugu. Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga reportedly turned down those conditions, leading to her exit. After Deepika left the film, Triptii Dimri was signed on as the leading lady opposite Prabhas for that film. While the film world is known for its intense schedules and long shooting days, Genelia's comments suggest that some actors are open to longer hours as long as there is mutual understanding on set. How Vir Das got Aamir Khan to back Happy Patel Khatarnak Jasoos
Vir Das, known for his comedy, persuaded Aamir Khan to produce his film. The movie is titled 'Happy Patel Khatarnak Jasoos'. Vir stars as a bumbling detective. Aamir Khan will also appear in a cameo. Mona Singh is also part of the cast. Imran Khan's involvement remains uncertain. Vir Das was recently in 'Call Me Bae'. Vir Das has long built a reputation as one of India's most original comedic voices — whether on stage, in films, or with his internationally acclaimed specials. But few know the story of how he managed to convince one of Indian cinema's most discerning minds, Aamir Khan , to back a film written, co-directed, and headlined by Vir himself. The film in question is titled Happy Patel Khatarnak Jasoos — a quirky, offbeat comedy that Vir has not only written but also stars in as the titular character, Happy Patel, a bumbling yet endearing detective. The project, Vir reveals, was always envisioned with Aamir Khan in mind as its producer. During his conversation with Yuvaa, Vir Shared that after winning the Emmy, he called up Aamir Khan- the two of them had worked together in Delhi Belly. He revealed that he told Aamir Khan that he has a movie in his mind and if he doesn't produce it no one would and Aamir asked him to come over and give him a narration and he was on board. The details about the film are still underwraps but it also features Aamir in a cameo and also stars Mona Singh in a very quirky avtaar. In the same interview Vir also thanked Aamir Khan for for being a bastion for fiercely original voices. The film was also in the news in the past few months as it was rumoured that Aamir's nephew and Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na actor Imran Khan would be returning to the big screen with this film. But while the makers continue to state that it is not true- some sources say Imran is part of the film in a way. Vir was last seen in Karan Johar backed OTT show Call Me Bae with Ananya Panday , he played a news anchor in the show.
