The false allegations have been shared tens of thousands of times, appearing on news websites and across various social media platforms. AI videos seemed to show Ozzy making secret lengthy confessions about ending his life on his own terms after his farewell concert. The insider added: 'Ozzy had been in great spirits following his farewell show, but he also had lots to look forward to in the upcoming months. 'There's no way he would've taken his life, because no matter how tough his physical and medical conditions were, being with his family and especially his grandchildren provided him with immense joy and huge highs. 'Not only was he working on a TV project about his astonishing farewell show, but he was lined up to film his reality series called Home to Roost for the BBC. 'He was looking forward also to promoting his memoir in September. 'Sharon has really taken Ozzy's passing so, so hard. They were such a strong force together. She shared a video of the moment Sid popped the question backstage at her father's final ever Black Sabbath gig on July 5. Ozzy's death came just 17 days after his farewell performance at the Villa Park stadium in Birmingham. Tributes have since piled in from stars including Sir Rod Stewart, Noel Gallagher and Sir Elton John. Shortly prior to his passing, the Changes hitmaker told of his strict health monitoring and medical check-ins. On his Sirius XM show in May, Ozzy said: "I am constantly in training seven days a week. "I have got this guy who's virtually living with me and I am in bed by seven. "I used to have to take a handful of f***ing sleeping pills. "Now I don't take anything. I am having my blood pressure taken 15 times a day. "I've got this f***ing device on my finger. It's a monitor to say how my heart rate is.' He then said of his life approach: "I'm just taking it one day at a time. "Ask him upstairs. In my case, the one below." This month's gig was touted as "the greatest heavy metal show ever," with Ozzy grinning to chanting fans as he thanked them for all they had done for him. Ozzy became known as the "Prince of Darkness" in his six-decade career thanks to his on-stage antics that attracted a legion of heavy rock fans. The legend cemented his place in rock history early in his career with controversial displays such as biting the head off a bat. 8 8

Kelly Osbourne says she's lost her ‘best friend' with dad Ozzy's death
Kelly Osbourne (left), pictured with her parents, Ozzy and Sharon, in 2010 (Evan Agostini/AGOST/AP via CNN Newsource) Kelly Osbourne has released a statement following the death of her father Ozzy, saying she 'lost the best friend I ever had.' 'I feel unhappy, I am so sad. I lost the best friend I ever had,' she said on her Instagram story, quoting the lyrics of Black Sabbath song 'Changes.' The song originally appeared on the band's 1972 album 'Vol. 4' before Ozzy and Kelly recorded a version together in 2003 with altered lyrics, changing the song from depicting a romantic breakup to a father-daughter relationship drifting apart. Until 'The Osbournes' – the reality TV show documenting their family life – aired from 2002 to 2005, Ozzy was best known as the 'Prince of Darkness,' a pioneer of heavy metal and rock whose legendary, and controversial, antics on stage once included biting the head off a live bat. (He thought it was rubber.) But through his interactions with his wife, Sharon, and his youngest children, Kelly and Jack, the public were introduced to his domestic side, watching him bumbling around the house and telling his children not to do drugs. Ozzy died on Tuesday at age 76, his family announced in a statement, saying that 'he was with his family and surrounded by love.' They haven't yet announced a cause of death. Just weeks before his death, he played his final show in Birmingham, England, where Kelly got engaged to her long-term partner, rock musician Sid Wilson. She posted a video on Instagram of the moment that Wilson, who is part of heavy metal band Slipknot, got down on one knee and proposed in front of various family members and friends, including her parents. In the footage, Wilson can be heard saying: 'Kelly, you know I love you more than anything in the world.' Ozzy then interjects: 'F**k off, you're not marrying my daughter.' The assembled crowd laughs before Wilson continues: 'Nothing would make me happier than to spend the rest of my life with you. So, in front of your family and all of our friends, Kelly, will you marry me?' The couple, who have been together since at least 2022 and share a young son, Sidney, then embraced as onlookers clapped and cheered. By Issy Ronald, CNN

Ozzy Osbourne ‘surrounded by love' and family when he died
Ozzy Osbourne spent his final moments with his loved ones before he died Tuesday morning. 'He was with his family and surrounded by love,' his wife, Sharon Osbourne, and his kids, Jack, Kelly, Aimee and Louis, confirmed in a joint statement obtained by Page Six Tuesday. 'We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time,' the statement continued In the same statement, the Black Sabbath singer's family confirmed that he had died Tuesday morning. He was 76. 'It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning,' they said. Earlier this month, the 'No More Tears' artist had performed his last concert with Black Sabbath. Fans were concerned for Ozzy's health in early July when AI videos claiming that he was dying had circulated online. Kelly swiftly shut down rumors. The rock star has had health issues for years now and revealed in January 2020 that he had secretly been battling Parkinson's disease for more than 15 years. There is no known cure for the movement disorder of the nervous system, which often worsens over time, according to the Mayo Clinic. Ozzy was also living in pain after sustaining horrible neck injuries from a 2003 quad biking accident. In May 2022, the heavy metal star shared that he could no longer 'walk properly' and would be undergoing a 'life-altering' neck surgery. After the procedure, Ozzy shared that his walking had improved as he could 'hold [his] head up' and he returned to the stage for an NFL halftime show in September 2022. By the following year, Ozzy announced that he would no longer be touring amid rising health concerns. 'Never would have imagined that my touring days would have ended this way,' he shared in a statement at the time. 'I have now come to the realization that I'm not physically capable of doing my upcoming European/UK tour dates, as I know I couldn't deal with the travel required,' he added. Ozzy and his Black Sabbath bandmates performed alongside Metallica, Guns N' Roses, Jack Black and other rockers in Birmingham, England earlier this month, marking the musician's last gig before his passing. The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer married Sharon in 1982. They shared three kids: Aimee, 41, Kelly, 40, and Jack, 39. Ozzy was also married to Thelma Riley — with whom he shared kids Elliot, 59, Jessica, 53, and Louis, 50 — from 1971 to 1982. Solve the daily Crossword
