$1 million lottery prize won in Mass. from crossword-style game
A man from Massachusetts won $1 million in a crossword-style lottery ticket game.
Roland Mondou, of Woburn, won $1 million from the '$5,000,000 100X Cashword' scratch ticket game.
Mondou chose the cash option on his prize and received a one-time payment of $650,000 before taxes. He plans to buy a new house with the winnings.
He bought his winning ticket in his hometown at Jack's Variety at 675 Main St. The shop will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
