Bahrain Celebrates Religious Coexistence, Says MP Dr Maryam Al-Dhaen
TDT | Manama Bahrain's recent Ashura commemorations have been hailed as a national achievement and a shining example of religious coexistence, with MP Dr Maryam Al-Dhaen describing the event as a 'living model of unity and social cohesion.' Al-Dhaen praised the remarks of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, calling his words 'a source of pride' for all those who contributed to the organisation of the annual religious season. She said the HM King's message reflected the deep-rooted values of religious freedom and pluralism that define Bahrain's social fabric. Leadership honoured The MP noted that the government's success in managing the Ashura season, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, reinforced the leadership's commitment to fostering coexistence, tolerance, and openness. She commended the integrated efforts of government agencies, particularly the Ministry of Interior and the Jaffari Endowments Council, along with sheikhs, scholars, matam leaders and supervisory committees. Al-Dhaen credited the smooth coordination and high level of discipline to the joint work of field teams and volunteers, highlighting their vital role in ensuring safety and calm throughout the commemorations. 'The awareness and dedication shown by citizens and residents alike embody the values of true citizenship,' she said, calling the Ashura season 'a reflection of Bahrain's national spirit.' HRH Crown Prince Praises Teamwork Behind Successful Ashura Commemoration
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, shared His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's deep appreciation for the efforts made by government agencies in ensuring the smooth and successful observance of Ashura this year. The Crown Prince highlighted that the coordinated planning and implementation of safety and support measures during Ashura were a source of pride for everyone involved. He gave special thanks to the Ministry of Interior and other public bodies that worked hand-in-hand to carry out the King's directives effectively. Following HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister's Directive, Jaafari Endowments Council Inaugurates Three Mosques
Manama: In line with the directive of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to open, restore, and develop 40 mosques affiliated with both the Sunni and Jaffari Endowments Directorates across the Kingdom of Bahrain, Yusuf Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Jaffari Endowments Council, inaugurated Shaikh Ahmed Mosque in Ma'ameer. The Council also announced the reopening of Mohammed Al Touq Mosque in Sitra and Shaikh Mansour Mosque in Nuwaidrat following renovation works. According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Saleh commended the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the ongoing follow-up by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister in the development, maintenance, and restoration of places of worship. Al Saleh also commended the coordination of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (SCIA) and the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments in ensuring timely and quality implementation.

Al-Watiya Mosque inaugurated
Jaffari Endowments Council chairman Yousef bin Saleh Al Saleh has inaugurated Al-Watiya Mosque in the Saar area. This initiative was in line with the order of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to open, renovate, and rehabilitate 40 mosques affiliated with the Sunni and Jaffari Endowments Directorates across all governorates in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The ceremony was attended by Dr. Sayed Shaber Ibrahim Al-Wadaei, Chairman of the Municipal Council of the Northern Area Municipality, Mr. Tariq Al-Farsani, member of the Municipal Council for the Fifth Constituency in the Northern Governorate, members of the Jaffari Endowments Council, Eng. Sayed Mohammed Jaafar Al-Hussaini, Director of the Jaffari Endowments Directorate, and local residents.
