Here is your Tuesday evening transfer bulletin featuring Celtic being outbid for a key target, how the deal could impact Rangers, Lennon Miller developments and a resolution in Hibs' pursuit of Nectar Triantis. Celtic outbid for target Celtic have been told to up their transfer bid for Jakob Breum after Go Ahead Eagles revealed they have already turned down a higher offer for the midfielder from one of their Dutch rivals. The Hoops have had three bids rejected for Breum, according to reports in the Netherlands, with an initial bid of £1.3million swiftly rejected, while the most recent offers also fell well short of his club's valuation. The 21-year-old, who is under contract until 2027, joined Go Ahead as a left winger from Odense two years ago but was transformed into a central attacking midfield player. The Denmark Under-21 international delivered 10 goals and five assists in the Eredivisie last season. (Photo by MAURICE VAN STEEN/ANP/AFP via Getty Images) | ANP/AFP via Getty Images Addressing the interest from Celtic, Go Ahead CEO Jan Willem van Dop confirmed that the club had already knocked back a higher offer from FC Twente. "There was a question (from FC Twente), and that was about Jakob Breum. That's negotiable, but only if the price is right. And we couldn't reach an agreement on that. What I did find positive was that his thoughts were certainly higher than the official offer Celtic ever made. "I've told Celtic that we won't be accepting their offer. I spoke to Breum's agent on the phone Monday morning, and he hopes he'll go that certainly not the most difficult club, but it has to be a good fit. And if we can't reach a financial agreement, we also have the right to say: well, it's not going to happen." Rangers deal hampered Celtic's pursuit of Jakob Breum could provide a stumbling block to Rangers' attempts to sign his Go Ahead Eagles team-mate Oliver Antman. Finnish international winger Antman is reportedly on Russell Martin's radar as he looks to bolster his attacking options for his maiden season in charge. However, Go Ahead CEO Jan Willem van Dop has intimated that the club will only sell one of Antman and Breum this summer. With Breum already the subject of interest from Celtic and Twente, it could hamper Rangers move for Antman. Asked about interest from the Glasgow giants in Breum and Antman, van Dop responded: "Those are the guys who are in the spotlight. I think one of them will ultimately leave." The 17-year-old has made 21 appearances for Spurs but their new manager Thomas Frank explained on Tuesday he would like to 'find the right option' for the attacker to get the necessary game time to accelerate his development. When asked about Moore at his pre-match media briefing on the eve of Wednesday's Champions League qualifier with Panathinaikos in Athens, Gers boss Martin said little to dispel suggestions he is set to move to Ibrox. I think I've said to you all the way along that as soon as it's done you'll be the first guys to know,' Martin said on Tuesday. 'There's lots of players we like, lots that we're linked to. He's a really good player and if at any point he becomes a Rangers player we will let you know.' Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad Lennon Miller bids Motherwell manager Jens Berthel Askou conceded there is 'a high probability' that prized asset Lennon Miller will be sold this summer. Askou revealed on Tuesday that the Lanarkshire club have received offers for the 18-year-old Scotland international, who is currently recovering from a minor injury, and that he may have played his last game for the Steelmen. 'Yeah, he's still here, he's training, we're trying to get him back into full training after he's had a minor thing here over the summer and there's been some bids on him recently and it's something the board is working with,' the manager told Sky Sports. 'I'm trying with the staff here to get the team ready for Saturday, so it's going on in the background and will probably intensify here in the coming days. Who knows how long it's going to take, there's been a lot of speculation, a lot of rumours, a lot of interest in him for a long time and of course it's intensifying now.' Motherwell have received offers for Scotland international Lennon Miller. | Getty Images Bologna and Udinese are among the clubs reportedly leading the chase for Miller, who has also been linked with Celtic. Asked if he expected the teenager to remain at Motherwell beyond the end of the transfer window, Askou said: 'We'll see. Obviously there's a high probability that he will move this summer, but nothing is finalised yet. Obviously there's concrete things going on which we expected at the moment, so it's going to be interesting to see how it's all turning out. For now he's still a Motherwell player and he's doing his best to get back to full training so we can maybe see if we see him on the pitch again or not, but we're trying our best to get him ready.' Celtic have serious rivals for Jakob Breum after European club lodge higher bid than Hoops for key target
Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) CELTIC are facing a heavyweight rival for the services of Danish winger Jakob Breum in the form of Dutch outfit FC Twente. Dutch reports yesterday claimed that Go Ahead Eagles had knocked back a bid from the Hoops for the 21-year-old earlier this summer - with the Parkhead offer described as being "laughingly rejected". But Go Ahead Eagles technical director Jan Willem van Dop told Oosttribune yesterday that FC Twente were also in the run for Breum - and they had made a higher offer than the only OFFICIAL one received from Celtic. Revealing that discussions between FC Twente and Go Ahead Eagles had originally centred upon defender Joris Kramer, Van Dop said: "I spoke to Jan once this summer, and he asked about Joris Kramer. "I made it clear that we didn't want to lose Joris. "I think that's a good thing; you can start a fight at that point, but after my explanation, Jan immediately said: 'Well, Jan-Willem, we respect that, and that's it.' "Then he had a second question, and that was Jakob Breum. "I'd say that was certainly negotiable if the price was right, but we couldn't reach an agreement. "His proposal was already higher than the official offer ever made by Celtic." 4 Keep up to date with ALL the latest news and transfers at the Scottish Sun football page

The Serbian Under-21 international was linked with the Dons last season but no deal was agreed. According to Sky Sports, Aberdeen have returned to the table with the San Siro giants now considering selling the 21-year-old with a sell-on clause attached. Lazetic has made just two appearances for the Milan first-team and has spent most of his time with the Serie A side's development squad since joining from Red Star Belgrade in 2021. The 6ft 4in striker forward spent last season on loan at TSC back in his homeland, scoring three times in 43 appearances. He has also had loan spells with Fortuna Sittard in the Eredivisie and Rheindorf Altach in the Austrian Bundesliga. Lazetic is the nephew of Nikola Lazetic, who earned 25 caps for Serbia and Montenegro and is now president of the Serbian FC. The 17-year-old was left out of new manager Thomas Frank's 29-man squad for the pre-season trip to Hong Kong, remaining behind on Sunday as his team-mates departed for the Far East. Moore was left behind as he is expected to leave the club on loan and Rangers have reportedly emerged as favourites for his signature. While Rangers are hoping to sign a teenager from the Premier League, they have lost two others. Newcastle have announced that they have signed 16-year-old Scotland youth internationals Oliver Goodbrand and Alfie Hutchison from Rangers for their Under-18 squad. Defender Goodbrand was a regular for Rangers Under-18s and made his B team debut in a Glasgow Cup win over Partick Thistle. Jakob Breum has given Celtic his transfer answer amid shifting £6.5m standoff
Go Ahead Eagles are sticking to their big money price tag for the 21-year-old winger Celtic have seen Go Ahead Eagles dig in over their valuation of Jakob Breum - but the winger has already opened the door to a move. The Hoops are in need of reinforcements on the flanks after Nicolas Kuhn joined Como in a £17.2million deal - while Jota is sidelined until next year. Antwerp's Belgian winger Michel-Ange Balikwisha is on their radar while the door is open for Celtic to revive their interest in Sondre Orjasaeter this summer - but 21-year-old Breum appears to be at the top of the list. Three bids have already been turned down for the Danish winger so far this summer from the Scottish Premiership champions - with the highest offer reaching £3m. The Eredivisie side are sticking to their £6.5m price tag for the player with the likes of PSV Eindhoven also considering a move. But speaking ahead of the summer transfer window, the Denmark U21 cap stated he was "very open" to testing himself at the next level. He told TV 2: "Of course I have ambitions to try myself at a higher level, but when that is, time will tell. "I'm not just going to play a few good months and then take the next step. I can still develop even more here, so I'm not in a hurry to get away. "I'm very open to the next step. It all depends on what offers come in. "It's not like I have certain leagues that I just have to go to. But of course I'm aiming for as high a level as possible because it's the dream to play against the very best." The firm stance by the Eagles over a sale also marks a shift in the club's position from last season - when sporting director Paul Bosvelt opened the door to a departure. He told Tipsbladet: "He is a class player. This kid is going to reach the top in Holland and the international sub-top. "He can play football, he is fast and he can beat a player. These are the ingredients that modern football requires. "I would think that there is a very good chance that we will sell him in the summer transfer window."
