Sanju Samson most expensive player of Kerala Premier League; signed up by Kochi

Indian cricketer Sanju Samson was on Saturday signed up by the Kochi Blue Tigers for the second edition of the Kerala Premier League (KPL) for a record figure of Rs 26.80 Kerala Cricket Association (KCA), in a statement, said that the player auction for the second season of KPL concluded with Samson being the most expensive player for whom there was a fierce bidding Blue Tigers, Trivandrum Royals and Thrissur Titans fought till the end for the skipper of the Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2025, it Samson, Vishnu Vinod and Jalaj Saxena also fetched over Rs 10 lakh in the auction which began on Saturday morning here in the presence of state General Education Minister V Vinod was bought by Aries Kollam Sailors for Rs 12.80 lakh and Jalaj Saxena for Rs 12.40 lakh Alleppey Ripples, the KCA statement said."Out of the total 168 players, 91 players were acquired by various teams through the auction.
