Love Island fans declare they have found the winners after uncomfortable family and friends episode: 'Give them the money now!'
Love Island fans have declared they have found the winners after a very uncomfortable family and friends episode. As the final week kicked off, the Islanders were treated to visits from their loved ones, but the reunions were more frosty than not. Cacherel Mercer's siblings' had an ice cold meeting with Toni Laites before Megan Moore's family grilled her boyfriend Dejon Noel Williams, branding him a 'player'. Things only got more awkward when Shakira Khan's mum gave Harry Cooksley the cold shoulder, refusing to hug him and demanding he prove himself. But there was a glimmer of hope, in the form of Yasmin Pettet and Jamie Rhodes. The pair, who met during Casa Amor and have been loved-up ever since, have been named by fans as this year's winners after their families' sweet interactions. Taking to X, formerly Twitter, they wrote: 'Yas and jamie to win tbh. this family meeting has solidified it for me,'; 'Yas and Jamie are my winners idc,'; 'Give Yas & Jamie that money pleaseeeeee! Pleaseeeeee,'; 'Well that has sealed it for me Yas and Jamie for the win,'; 'Think I have picked my winners now, got to be Jamie and Yas,'; 'My only wins after today is Yas + Jamie. I love Shakira + Toni but their family meet ups just set a tone on their relationships. The others arent even an option,'; 'Well the families opinion reflect the publics this year truly, every couple is a shambles and should not be together except yas and jamie,'; 'If Yas and Jamie don't win that 50k the UK public needs a good head wobble,'; 'So we all agree that Yas and Jamie are winning, right?!' It came after viewers slammed the parents episode for being uncomfortable, as they said: 'No all these parents hate their children's partners,'; 'Meet the family episodes always use to make me cry, this one just made me uncomfortable, quite like this season as a whole,'; Taking to X, formerly Twitter, fans wrote: 'Yas and jamie to win tbh. this family meeting has solidified it for me' 'This has been the most awkward episode of LI I have ever watched. Lol, I'm uncomfortable.' The Islanders' friends and relatives piled into the villa to give their live reactions - as well as some 'needed' candid feedback during the instalment. But viewers were left cringing at one awkward exchange when Cach's siblings, his brother D'Shae and sister Ayjah, entered the house. Fans at home claimed it was 'obvious' the duo didn't like his partner Toni after a series of stern looks were thrown her way. A previous episode saw the couple part ways when Toni decided to recouple with her ex Harrison again, leaving her man Cach in tears as he was forced to partner with Emma - they eventually got back together. But it seems Cach's siblings have not forgiven Toni for the drama, with fans sharing their thoughts on X. During the episode Toni was sitting on the terrace, when suddenly she heard her mum Leslie shout: 'Is Toni here? Where's Toni?' Realising friends and family have come to visit the Villa, she raced down stairs to greet her mum who had flown in from Florida. Her best friend Marielle also made the trip and she joked of being in the Villa: 'It's like meeting our Sims in real life!' As they caught up, talk turned to her daughter's romantic relationships in the Villa, Leslie said: 'The Harrison thing - I'd love to know what voodoo spell he put on you.' 'Sometimes you have to get burned 150 times before you can't get burnt anymore,' Toni replied. Leslie added of Cach: 'You have the most amazing man. His morals, his ethics, his calm demeanour when he is confronted with a bad situation… he is my king.' Meanwhile, Cach caught up with his brother D'Shae and sister Ayjah as they discussed him being upset by Toni and Harrison's actions. Cach admitted: 'You don't understand how embarrassing it was.' His sister said: 'Everyone felt it. It hurt to see you cry,' while his brother D'Shae added: 'I had to look away.' Love Island boy accused of ‘coasting to the final' and targeting ‘fan favourite girl'
A LOVE Island lad has been accused of "coasting to the final" after targeting a "fan favourite girl" to couple up with. Some viewers of the ITV2 series have flagged what they believe is the Casa Amor hunk's "undetected game play." 7 7 7 It comes as one Love Island couple are set to bag the whopper £50K cash prize in the coming weeks. Now loyal viewers are convinced Jamie Rhodes's intentions for Yas Pettet aren't pure - especially after he got handsy with a number of other villa girls in the kissing challenge. His reaction left Yas understandably annoyed as she fumed: "What the f*** am I watching?" The pair appeared to be going from strength to strength after a sweet paddleboard date before they chatted about their growing connection and spilled the tea on their family ties. Yet after his flirty antics fans have flooded Reddit with comments suggesting he is only with the bombshell for her popularity. One posted: "Jamie's undetected game play. "He entered the villa knowing Yas picked up a popularity and she's a fan favourite. Also, he knows about the villains that the fans hate and staying away from them." They added: "Notice Jamie was the only guy went on Harry and called him during the Casa recoupling, knowing that will get him points from the public, and it has. "The whole fan base all over social media loved him for that. Love Island bombshell Yasmin's pal shares secret behind perfect posture after fans were left baffled "And he's COASTING to the final and potentially winning the whole thing with Yas. "Also, He got excited during reading the kissing challenge, because he didn't get to kiss someone else since he came. We saw his hands were slipping to the girls asses. "I feel we didn't see the real him, there's something about him. I know you don't want to hear that but this relationship won't last to Christmas." Another mused: "Can we talk about how inappropriate it was for him to grope the a*** of every single girl in the villa during the kissing challenge?" Love Island 2025 full lineup Harry Cooksley: A 30-year-old footballer with charm to spare. Shakira Khan: A 22-year-old Manchester-based model, ready to turn heads. Remell Mullins: Boasts over 18million likes and 500k followers on TikTok thanks to his sizzling body transformation videos. Alima Gagigo: 23-year-old personal banker from Glasgow who fancies herself as a 'good flirt'. One added: "All a Casa bombshell needs to do is couple up with the most popular girl/boy and coast until the final. The real successful game players are the bombshells that come in before the series is due to end and still win (Josh and Greg)." A fan posted: "Honestly a valid take I feel like bombshells that come in past a certain point are aware of who they should go for, but for Yasmins sake I hope he's genuine because we have never seen her this way with a guy in the villa." Yet one then clapped back and put: "I personally like him & hope he & Yas win because it's undeniable we have seen a softer side of Yas since they've been coupled up." FINAL COUNTDOWN The date of the Love Island final is yet to be confirmed by ITV, but as regular viewers know, the final always takes place on a Monday in a live episode. It is heavily speculated that the official Love Island live final will be on Monday August 4. When Maya Jama returns to the villa at the end of the eight weeks in the sun, there will be four couples remaining, all vying to win over the public and take the title. The prize pot of £50,000 will also be up for grabs for the winning couple. 7 7

Trouble for fan favourite Love Island couple as villa girl gets flirty with returning bombshell
LOVE Island's Yas Pettet and Jamie Rhodes look like they may be in trouble – as she flirts heavily with returning hunk, Blu Chegini. Blu originally only lasted three days in the villa, but made a shocking return on Wednesday's episode by returning alongside Megan Forte Clarke. 6 6 6 The two quickly whisked Conor Phillips and Angel Swift off on dates, but on tonight's episode it seems that Blu's attention has turned to Yas, and she seems more than happy with the attention. In tonight's episode, Yas – who is currently coupled up with Jamie – engages in flirty banter with Blu when he pulls her for a chat. Soon their talk switches to their shared romantic tension, with Yas telling them: 'I was interested to meet you because I feel like you are a good looking boy and we're kind of similar in a sense. You have this sexual energy and so do I.' 'I like it when you stick it on,' he responds. 'You can stick on me for sure.' He later offers to give Yas a 'little tour' of his mum's sex shop in Marbella – talking through the kinds of toys that are sold there. The chat does not go unnoticed by Jamie, who finds himself trying not to rise to the bait. Shakira comes to his aid, urging him not to read into it… but is he right to be worried? Yasmin seems to have her own troubles emerging as the saga between her, Harry and Helena continues. While Harry appeared to choose Helena by closing things off between them, it seems he still holds a candle for Shakira. Laying her feelings out for him, Shakira tells Harry: 'I still felt very strongly towards you… Watch moment Love Island's Harrison takes savage swipe at villa couple and says there's 'no chance' they will win "I just don't think that I really dealt with the situation how I should have dealt with it and maybe haven't processed things properly, and you and Helena being exclusive may have resurfaced things.' Trying to see if she's ok, Harry later tells her: 'I know it looks like I've moved on very quickly but I don't want you to ever think that it was one sided, you'll probably disagree, but I felt it and like I say I haven't processed it and have tried to just get on with things.' Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2. 6 6 6

Love Island 2025 filming halted as one Islander gets rushed to hospital — here's what went down
Things got a little chaotic behind the scenes of Love Island 2025 this week when filming was suddenly paused following an unexpected accident in the villa garden. The show, known for its sun-soaked drama and flirty challenges, had to take a time-out after one of the Islanders ended up needing a trip to the hospital. While it's not the first time a Love Island injury has interrupted filming, this one had everyone on edge. Jamie Rhodes taken to hospital after painful incident The Islander involved this time was Jamie Rhodes, who had to be rushed to A&E. The injury was enough to stop production briefly, and sources say the mood in the villa turned serious as medics stepped in. While past seasons have seen some minor scrapes, it's rare for someone to be taken out of the villa completely for medical treatment. What happened to Jamie? So what actually happened? According to reports, Jamie accidentally stepped on a screw that was left in the villa garden. After getting checked out by on-site medics, it was decided he needed hospital treatment and stitches. Understandably, producers paused filming and searched the entire garden to make sure there were no more screws lying around that could injure anyone else. Who is Jamie Rhodes, the Islander at the centre of it all? Jamie Rhodes is one of this season's newer bombshells who quickly made waves with his confident energy and cheeky charm. Though he hasn't been in the villa long, he's already gained attention for his flirty banter and unexpected moments, and this hospital visit has definitely made him more memorable. Thankfully, he returned to the villa all bandaged up and in good spirits. Where to watch Love Island 2025 You can catch all the latest from Love Island 2025 on ITV2 and stream episodes on ITVX. New episodes air nightly, except Saturdays, so there's always something happening in the villa. With drama, parties, and now a surprise trip to the emergency room, this season is proving to be anything but boring.

Love Island favourite rushed to hospital after suffering painful injury in villa
A favourite to win this season of Love Island has had to be hospitalised after suffering an injury. Jamie Rhodes, who entered the show as a bombshell during Casa Amor, suffered the injury while in the villa in Majorca, and had to be brought to A&E on the island. It's understood that Jamie, who's coupled up with Yasmin Pettet, stood on a screw in the villa, and was brought to A&E with filming being thrown into chaos as a result. A favourite to win this season of Love Island has had to be hospitalised after suffering an injury. Pic: ITV 'Jamie was taken to hospital after an accident in the villa,' a source told the Sun. 'He stepped on a screw in the garden and after chatting to the villa medics they made the decision to take him to hospital. 'Filming was briefly paused and everyone was really worried as it's quite rare anyone gets taken out of the villa.' Bosses admitted that they were worried he was going to be exposed to the outside — and that other islanders would be injured — but he was bandaged up and was able to walk around, with him returning to the villa shortly after. Jamie Rhodes stepped on a screw and had to be brought to A&E in Majorca. Pic: ITV2 Jamie's injury came as the show was accused of being fixed, after it emerged that two of the islanders knew each other before entering the villa last week. Reports in The Irish Sun last week said that islanders Ty and Lauren were already 'acquainted' after they took part in the 'unfilmed' rehearsal week a few months ago, which then meant they were invited back to take part in Casa Amor. 'Ty and Lauren are acting like they've only just met but that's far from the case,' it was reported. The show was recently embroiled in a new fix scandal after it emerged that two of the islanders knew each other before entering the villa. Pic: ITV 'They hooked up during the dry run, which is where a fake cast moves into the villa to test out everything from camera angles, to kitchen appliances and run-through challenges, and then they even saw each other on the outside before ITV invited them back to be part of Casa Amor. 'Now they're both in the main villa pretending like none of this ever happened but it's all entirely fake and ITV know about it. Viewers deserve to know it's a huge sham.'
