Jana Kramer DEFENDS husband Allan Russell over polarizing masturbating remarks
Jana Kramer defended her husband Allan Russell against backlash over his comments about masturbating since becoming a married man. After revealing he no longer saw a point in pleasuring himself since they tied the knot last July, the English soccer coach, 44, was widely criticized for sharing such a NSFW confession about his sex life. Weeks after her spouse made the revelation on her Whine Down podcast, the One Tree Hill star, 41, reminded listeners he made the confession on her episode about sex. 'It was a sex episode with a doctor who specializes in intimacy, in sexual relationships,' the mother-of-three stressed. 'It's not like he just randomly was like, "I don't masturbate." We were having a conversation.' She continued: 'Everyone just sees the headline but doesn't really know where it came from or the story behind it.' Kramer explained the topic of conversation came up when she 'asked how many couples would be upset if their partner masturbated.' Although Russell insisted he is more than satisfied with their 'healthy' sex life, Kramer stated she would not be upset if he masturbated. 'I don't like porn because it triggers from the past,' she said. 'I don't hate that he doesn't [masturbate] but I wouldn't be mad at him [if he did.]' As for whether Russell was bothered by all the headlines about his masturbating habits, the best-selling author revealed her man 'was so lovely about it.' 'He goes, "To be honest, it could have read Jana Kramer's husband can't stop masturbating. I see it as respectful, honoring my wife." I was like, "I love your answer to that." He did not care for a second and took it as a, "I'm a man who honors his wife,'" she gushed. On the Wednesday, July 9, episode of Kramer's Whine Down podcast, Russell said 'there's no point where' he's 'actually' felt like masturbating since their wedding. 'There's a part of me [that] is like, I know it's going to come, so I'm not going to ruin it by doing what I need to do selfishly for myself to then diminish or ruin the thing that we have together,' he explained. He continued: 'Therefore I just don't feel like doing it because I would rather have her than go into the bathroom or whatever it is and masturbate.' Prior to their relationship, he admitted that he would 'masturbate a lot' when he was single and felt like it. This was not the first time Kramer's husband has said something headline-worthy on the podcast as back in December he engaged in a candid discussion about her acting career on Whine Down. During the show, the actress and her beau chatted about recent Yellowstone sex scenes, prompting the former soccer star to share his unfiltered opinion about why he won't accept his wife being intimate onscreen. 'I was just like, "There's not part of me that will ever, ever, ever allow that, ever, for a man to be that close to you like that,"' Allan said about his wife potentially filming raunchy scenes. Kramer, who shares one-year-old son Roman with the retired athlete, asked if he'd change his mind if she were cast on a huge series like Yellowstone. He answered, 'I'll be, like, phoning the producers and threatening the producers — "You need to change that scene. For the good of your health, you need to change this scene." 'That's not good for a marriage, that type of role, it's not, especially [for] a man who's not in the acting world. It's difficult. So, therefore, that's my opinion based on [the fact that] I'm not in that world.' To drive his point home, the Scottish athlete said to his wife: 'Can you imagine that we're both actors in a situation where I've stripped this woman naked and I start to go down on her. How would you like that, babe?' The One Tree Hill star weighed in about acting out physical scenes: 'It's literally the most uncomfortable thing ever.' She also noted that love scenes are typically filmed with only the actors and sound techs on set. 'It's so uncomfortable for the people that are doing it. And it's not a sexy thing,' the seasoned performer shared. The television star explained that she doesn't prefer those kinds of scenes, but understands they come with the territory.

Jana Kramer Clarifies Her Comments About Putting Sunscreen on Her Kids
NEED TO KNOW Jana Kramer is clarifying her comments about putting sunscreen on her three kids The actress and singer previously said that she doesn't always put sunscreen on her children Kramer is mom to daughter Jolie, 9, and sons Jace, 6, and Roman, 19 monthsJana Kramer is clearing up some confusion after her comments about putting sunscreen on her kids caused some controversy last week. The actress and singer, 41, clarified some of her comments on a Wednesday, July 16, episode of her podcast Whine Down with Jana Kramer, starting by saying that she'd gotten both positive and negative feedback after her remarks went viral. "I'm just doing what I think is best for my kids. I would never let my children just burn out in the sun," Kramer said. "I'm also not a dermatologist, so I don't know." "But I'm also open to the research on all sides of it, and welcome all of that," she continued. "I have seen so much negative [things] about sunscreen, what it can do, what it can cause. I've also seen the negative things that I've read about the sun and what it can do and what it can cause." "I think there's a healthy balance between the two. I think we need both. And we don't need excess of both," added Kramer. Never miss a story — sign up for to stay up-to-date on the best of what PEOPLE has to offer, from celebrity news to compelling human interest stories. Kramer explained that she replied to a handful of the DMs she received about her remarks, telling some there's "no need for name-calling." 'I didn't say always," she explained. "I put sunscreen on their neck, their ears and sometimes on their legs if we're going to a beach, a long day. But a couple of hours? No, I'm not going to, and that's okay.' 'Again, I would not let my kids fry,' she later added. 'And I'm open to anything kindly that someone wants to flood into my DMS in a nice manner.' Kramer shares daughter Jolie, 9, and son Jace, 6, with ex Mike Caussin, plus 19-month-old son Roman with husband Allan Russell. On a previous episode of her podcast, Kramer explained why she doesn't always put sunscreen on her kids. "Time out really fast. Let me just go back because I'm gonna get a lot of hate on this. I am well aware that I should have worn sunscreen as a child. I am well aware," Kramer began. The mom of three said that she would routinely use the tanning oil that had 8 SPF in it and never got burned until a cast trip to Puerto Rico during her time on One Tree Hill. Kramer explained that she started wearing sunscreen more often in her thirties since her skin had changed. "I don't use sunscreen on my kids unless it's going to be for hours outside because I know they don't burn," said Kramer. "And there's so much bad stuff in sunscreen that if we're not going to be out there for more than a couple hours, listen, come at me. But I'm just not putting it on." "I will if we're on the beach for hours and the reflection of all the things, like I'll put it on his neck, his ears — the baby — but like the kids, I haven't put on any on them because I'm like, they're not getting burned," she continued. "What's worse, the burn, or the suntan lotion?" According to experts, sunscreen is not toxic. 'There's been a lot of negative [reports] towards sunscreen out there, and it kind of stems from different reasons," Dr. Raman Madan, Director of Cosmetic Dermatology at Northwell Health told PEOPLE in June. "One of them is that people say that sunscreen can be absorbed into the bloodstream,' he said, explaining, 'it's a small, small, small amount' with some chemical sunscreens. However, he said, you can wear mineral-based sunscreens like zinc oxide or titanium dioxide, and 'those won't be absorbed by your body.' Regarding the environmental impact of sunscreens, some 'can harm coral reefs in some locations like in Hawaii and parts of Mexico, but if you're wearing the mineral-based zinc oxide or titanium dioxide, this is reef-safe, so it will be a non-issue again.' 'There's a lot of misinformation out there, and I think people are just trying to find reasons not to wear sunscreen,' he said. Read the original article on People

Jana Kramer's Surprising Parenting Take On Sunscreen For Her Kids Might Leave You A Little Red
Jana Kramer's parenting stance on sunscreen is turning up the heat online. With summer in full swing and UV levels soaring, Kramer is making waves — not just on the beach, but in the parenting world. During an in-depth conversation about the dos and don'ts for the summer months, the actor shared her reasoning on a recent episode of her podcast, 'Whine Down with Jana Kramer,' where friend Kathryn Woodard joined her. 'I don't use sunscreen on my kids, unless it's going to be for hours out because I know they don't burn,' she said. When she does apply the ointment, Kramer confessed that she puts it on her youngest — but not her other two children. Kramer shared that her concerns center around what's in sunscreen itself, stating, 'There's so much bad stuff in sunscreen.' 'What's worse: the burn or the suntan lotion?' she mused. Kramer's question touches on the ongoing fear-mongering about 'toxins' in almost everything, from seed oil and food dyes to sunscreen — especially sunscreen. However, while some sunscreens may contain ingredients that warrant closer monitoring, experts say there are many safe options — and using sunscreen is preferable to the risk of skin cancer from the sun's rays. 'When people ask me which is riskier — sunscreen or the sun — the answer is always the same: the sun, hands down,' said dermatologist Dr. Oma Agbai to HuffPost in June. On the podcast, Kramer unapologetically doubled down with a confident, 'Come at me' to address any would-be critics. Kramer shares son Jace and daughter Jolie with ex-husband Mike Caussin. She is also mom to son Roman, whom she welcomed with her husband, Allan Russell.

Jana Kramer's husband reveals VERY candid confession on couple's sex life
husband Allan Russell made a very NSFW confession about their sex life. The 41-year-old actress and 44-year-old Scottish former soccer player made a very candid confession about their intimate life on the latest episode of her podcast Whine Down released Wednesday. He said: 'Since I met Jana and we've subsequently [gotten] married and had a baby and stuff, there's no point — and I can be really honest in this — there's no point where I actually feel like masturbating. 'We have, what I think, is a healthy sex life.' Allan may have been too eager to give up information on their lives in the bedroom as he said he enjoys 'making love' to his wife and having 'essential and physical moments' together. He explained: 'So there's a part of me [that] is like, I know it's going to come, so I'm not going to ruin it by doing what I need to do selfishly for myself to then diminish or ruin the thing that we have together. 'Therefore I just don't feel like doing it because I would rather have her, than go into the bathroom or whatever it is and masturbate.' Jana then said that she doesn't 'hate that answer' to which her husband responded that when he was single he would 'masturbate a lot' but now he doesn't 'feel like it.' This is not the first time Jana's husband has said something headline-worthy on the podcast as back in December he engaged in a candid discussion about her acting career on Whine Down. During the show, the actress and her beau chatted about recent Yellowstone sex scenes, prompting the former soccer star to share his unfiltered opinion about why he won't accept his wife being intimate onscreen. And it's not a sexy thing,' the seasoned performer shared. The television star explained that she doesn't prefer those kinds of scenes, but understands they come with the territory. In an Instagram Story video shared on Monday, Allan teased, 'Ok, on this week's podcast, Jana and I have a heated discussion on a role...' before Kramer interjected, 'A steamy discussion.' Russell continued, '...A hot and steamy discussion about a hot and steamy role I would never be happy about.' He then panned the camera to show his wife sweetly snuggling their little boy in her arms while sitting in a rocking chair as he enjoyed a bottle. Kramer and Russell tied the knot in July and are raising three kids together — their son Roman, plus Jana's eight-year-old daughter Jolie and six-year-old son Jace. The mom-of-three shares her two older children with ex-husband Mike Caussin. Back in November she mourned the loss of her former One Tree Hill co-star Paul Teal, who passed away at age 35. 'Sending love and prayers to @paulteal family and friends,' she wrote online. Jana played Paul's onscreen girlfriend Alex during his time on the show. 'I had the absolute pleasure of working with him on season 7 of OTH. He was always so kind and so much fun to work alongside,' she added in her tribute. The star also called on the One Tree Hill family to support Teal's loved ones, adding, 'Wrap his family and friends in prayers, please.'

Jana Kramer Explains Why She Doesn't Always Use Sunscreen on Her 3 Kids: ‘Come at Me'
Jana Kramer is defending her decision not to always put sunscreen on her three kids. 'Time out really fast. Let me just go back, because I'm gonna get a lot of hate on this. I am well aware that I should have worn sunscreen as a child. I am well aware," Kramer, 41, said on the Monday, July 7, episode of iHeart Radio's 'Whine Down' podcast. "And I know my mom put on the Coppertone Baby, whatever SPF on me.' She continued, 'Having said that, my mother was the generation who used no sunscreen and used the baby oil, right? If my mother gave me anything more than an 8 SPF, I would be like, 'I cannot get a tan with anything less than 8.'' Kramer explained that she used a tanning oil with 8 SPF and stayed clear of sunburns until a One Tree Hill cast trip to Puerto Rico where she 'burnt so bad.' She added, 'My forehead completely peeled. I was two different colors for the episode. It was so bad.' Khloe Kardashian, Chrissy Teigen and More Celebs Clap Back at the Parenting Police Kramer began wearing sunscreen in her 30s. When it comes to her kids, Kramer said she opts not to put it on them unless they are going to be outdoors for 'hours' because she knows they 'don't burn.' "There's so much bad stuff in sunscreen that if we're not going to be out there for more than a couple hours — listen, come at me. But I'm just not putting it on,' she alleged. "I will if we're on the beach for hours and the reflection of all the things, like, I'll put it on his neck, his ears — the baby — but like, the kids, I haven't put any on them because I'm like, 'They're not getting burned.' What's worse, the burn or the suntan lotion?" Kramer welcomed daughter Jolie and son Jace with ex-husband Mike Caussin in 2016 and 2018, respectively. She moved on with Alan Russell, whom she welcomed son Roman with in 2023. The pair tied the knot in Scotland the following year. Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi's Days of Tanning 'Irresponsibly' Are Over as She Stresses the Importance of SPF Experts have advised wearing sunscreen, even while inside. Dr. Dhaval G. Bhanusali, a celebrity board-certified dermatologist at Hudson Dermatology & Laser Surgery — whose clients include Hailey Bieber and Martha Stewart — told Us Weekly that 'UV rays can penetrate through glass and are even present during the cloudy days when you expect it least.' When it comes to choosing proper protection, Bhanusali recommends one with 'at least an SPF of 30 or higher' and making sure 'broad-spectrum' is on the packaging.
