It's just so much fun.' To which Goff quips: 'Yeah, too bad, Tom. You're retired.' This moment quickly gained traction online, reigniting memories of Super Bowl LIII, where Brady's Patriots beat Goff's Rams 13-3. NFL fans set for behind-the-scenes glimpse of Joe Burrow's home burglary drama as new Netflix trailer drops

The burglary of Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow's $7.5 million Ohio mansion is covered in the upcoming season of QUARTERBACKS, Netflix 's recurring behind-the-scenes documentary from NFL Films. This year's subjects include Burrow, Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff and Atlanta Falcons veteran Kirk Cousins, who had varying degrees of success in 2024. While Cousins lost his starting job in Atlanta to rookie Michael Penix Jr., Goff guided the resurgent Lions to within a win of the Super Bowl. But it was Burrow's season that may have been the most fascinating. The Heisman winner and former first-overall pick helped Cincinnati bounce back from a 1-4 start to nearly make the postseason. It was in the midst that of strong finish that Burrow's home was robbed on December 9 – an experience that Burrow told reporters left him feeling 'violated.' The incident was initially shrouded in mystery after it emerged that the 911 call was made by Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model Olivia Ponton rather than the quarterback's longtime partner Olivia Holzmacher. Although Holzmacher is no longer believed to be involved with Burrow, Ponton has stayed mum on her relationship with the quarterback, refusing to address the topic when asked by paparazzo at last month's Met Gala. However, the two were recently spotted out late in New York. Ponton - who boasts eight million followers on TikTok - is said to have told officers that she noticed 'a shattered bedroom window and the room ransacked' when she arrived at Burrow's property on December 9. Burrow was out of town at the time. Chilean nationals Bastian Morales, 23, Jordan Sanchez, 22, and Sergio Cabello, 38, and Alexander Chavez, 24, were later stopped and arrested by police on suspicion of robbery. Police found the group in possession of LSU and Bengals gear, which is believed to have been taken from Burrow's home. Officers said the men were in the country illegally after overstaying their permission. Three of the men -- Morales, Sanchez and Cabello – are facing federal charges for allegedly transporting stolen goods and falsifying record in a federal investigation. Those three are suspected by investigators of orchestrating similar robberies at the homes of Kansas City Chiefs stars Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes. In a shocking photo laid bare in court documents, all four men linked to the Burrow burglary can be seen posing in the jewelry they allegedly stole at his home - including the NFL star's personalized diamond-encrusted chains. They are understood to have made off with over $300,000 worth of his luxury possessions, according to federal prosecutors. Burrow addressed the robbery at the time, although he was clearly skittish about saying too much publicly. 'So obviously everybody has heard what has happened,' Burrow said in a statement after the robbery. 'I feel like my privacy has been violated in more ways than one. And way more is already out there than I would want out there and that I care to share, so that's all I got to say about that.' As for the documentary, Burrow appears to be growing impatient while discussing the ups and downs of his five-year career. Police bodycam footage of the moment four Chilean nationals were arrested earlier this month in connection with the recent burglary of Joe Burrow's $7.5million home has been released 'You only have so many of these seasons,' he said. 'You start out your career, you're like: 'I'm going to be playing 15, 20 seasons.' It seems like a lot. Then you blink your eye, you're in year five. Next time I blink my eye is going to be year 10. 'The great ones make it work.' The Bengals spent heavily to retain Burrow's favorite targets this offseason, signing receivers Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins to extensions valued at a combined $276 million. As reported by Fox Sports' Jordan Schultz , Chase's deal makes him the highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history with $161 million going to the receiver over four years. Meanwhile, Higgins' deal is also for four years, albeit for 'only' $115 million. Chase's deal has $112 million in reported guarantees, while the first two years of Higgins deal is also guaranteed. The former Clemson star is now the highest-paid 'WR2' in the NFL. Coupled with Burrow's $46 million salary in 2025, the Bengals could be using around 40-percent of their salary cap space on just three players, depending on how the Chase and Higgins' deals are structured. Burrow could also restructure his deal to accommodate the Bengals' other signings.

Netflix's 'Quarterback' trailer stars Joe Burrow, Jared Goff and Kirk Cousins ahead of season 2 release date

Netflix's "Quarterback" series is back, and some big names agreed to take part in the documentary. Cincinnati Bengals' Joe Burrow, Detroit Lions' Jared Goff and Atlanta Falcons' Kirk Cousins will be the focus of the second season of the program, Netflix revealed in a trailer Monday. The trailer features Burrow talking about the longevity of the great quarterbacks, Goff talking about living up to high expectations after leaving the Los Angeles Rams and Cousins taking about the Atlanta Falcons taking Michael Penix in the NFL Draft. It marks the second appearance on the program by Cousins, who was featured on the first season of the series. At the time, Cousins was still a member of the Minnesota Vikings. The first season of "Quarterback" focused on Cousins leading the Vikings to a first-place finish in the NFC North. Advertisement While Burrow and Goff should provide excellent moments, Cousins may be the most intriguing quarterback featured in season 2. After sustaining an Achilles injury during the 2023 season, Cousins joined the Falcons on a four-year, $180 million deal in the offseason. He struggled in his return, throwing 18 touchdowns against an NFL-leading 16 interceptions. That performance got Cousins benched in favor of Penix during the final three games of the regular season. "Quarterback" will presumably cover that entire storyline, and feature never-before-seen footage of Cousins reacting and responding to those developments. Advertisement The first season of "Quarterback" was received well by fans, as it featured Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes, then-Falcons QB Marcus Mariota and Cousins. But Omaha Productions, which produces the series, had trouble finding quarterbacks willing to be filmed for season 2 of the program. As a result, Omaha Productions pivoted to "Receiver" ahead of the 2024 NFL season. After a year away, Omaha Productions was able to convince Burrow, Cousins and Goff to take the plunge. With the three quarterbacks announced, Netflix also dropped the release date for "Quarterback" on Monday. The program will air July 8 on Netflix. It's unclear how many episodes will make up season 2. The first season of "Quarterback" lasted eight episodes.
