Next Stay Close ✕ The first episodes showcased renowned local singer Jarrad Ricketts viewing a sensational Camps Bay villa for his family vacation. This multi-story property in one of the Mother City's most exclusive suburbs featured uninterrupted views from all angles of the house, leaving the entertainer insisting that his wife will come around to the whopping R50 000 per night price tag. Meanwhile, fans of the show have also been able to enjoy glimpses of an impeccably designed Bishop's Court modern farmhouse as well as a mindblowing penthouse, which seeks to be the best of its kind on the African continent and was built to resemble a yacht, in the new season. Its latest offering has also seen the introduction of new agents, which include Wendy Khumalo, Neteske Gavin, Romy-Leé Ferreira and Dael Dyer. They join familiar favourites such as Byron Louw, Kim Tresfon and Jonathan Tannous return to the show, promising a diverse mix of personalities and strategies that could either charm or clash throughout the season. Meanwhile, one of the most notable comments shared by many of the agents on the series was just how high the demand for property is in the city. Property director Warrick Wiegand, who makes an appearance on the show, believes that: 'The reason why the Cape Town property market is so alluring is because everybody has started to realise just what a world-class city on any scale Cape Town is. 'The demand has got to a point where it far surpasses the supply. From an international standpoint, Cape Town is exceptionally underpriced and undervalued and still has much more room for growth.' Meanwhile, Louw, a popular figure who has appeared on previous seasons, shared similar sentiments. 'I think it is a cosmopolitan mix of things that keeps Cape Town as a top contender, such as the favourable exchange rate, steady foreign investment and local attractions matching world-class standards.' As more episodes of the new season of 'Listing Cape Town' drop weekly, Louw is thrilled for viewers to witness what the series still has in store for them. 'Besides all the gorgeous views and the luxury living, I am personally very excited for viewers to see a younger set of buyers breaking into the property market and forging their unique path.' The top deck of the yacht-resembled looking penthouse. Image: Instagram Louw elaborated that some of the other season highlights will be scouting for a client in Brazil and flying over to Rio De Janeiro to seal the deal. Wiegand added: 'We featured the world-famous, one and only Stefan Antoni in our iconic Camps Bay listing that he designed.' He said that the acclaimed architect also details his insightful thoughts on the home from an architectural point of view. The property director also promised viewers that the latest installment will include: 'New agents, bigger negotiations, better properties and an all-round must add to your weekly calendar overall.' Meanwhile, Louw believes that the high-end real estate agents on the show are what makes it so popular. 'In my opinion, the show remains a hit because of the diverse set of agents, all at the top of their game, who bring their own unique approach to deal-making.' On what he thinks will surprise viewers the most about the new season, Louw said: 'We were able to top property prices and still have them selling so swiftly. Just when you think Cape Town has plateaued, the market will surprise you.' ∎ Watch new episodes of 'Listing Cape Town' season 3 on Wednesday at 8pm on BBC Lifestyle (DStv channel 174).
