Maybelline Sky High Mascara Amazon Prime Day Sale
Before I get into my ~*thoughts*~ on Maybelline New York's Sky High Mascara, I need to let you know that it's currently on sale for less than $8 for Amazon Prime Day. That's right, you can snag one of the best drugstore mascaras of all time for less than the price of a specialty coffee. The formula is volumizing and creates long lashes without clumping or flaking. It also comes in a bunch of versatile shades (my personal favorite is brown), and yes, every color is on sale. Keep reading for the full review of Maybelline's Sky High Mascara, including the pros and cons, how it made our lashes look, and most importantly, if it's worth the price tag (spoiler alert, it most definitely is). The first thing I noticed about this drugstore mascara was the plastic brush. It's slim, flexible but not too bendy, slightly tapered, and is so easy to maneuver. It easily glides through lashes and is amazing at grabbing the tiny, hard-to-reach lashes on the inner and outer corners of the eyes and coating them with fibers and pigment. It's affordable Compared to many mascaras on the market—and again, I've tried basically all of them—Maybelline's Sky High is a really great value from one of my favorite drugstore makeup brands. If you use it every day, the tube should last you about three months so the cost-per-wear is basically pennies. I applied two quick coats of Sky High to my lashes and loved the result. Instantly my lashes looked longer, more voluminous, and well defined too. The formula laid beautifully on my lashes and did not come off 'twiggy' or brittle. I love a sleek and smooth lash look, and Sky High delivered just that. Just check out my before and after pics below for proof. The formula goes on really wet which made me nervous at first, but once it sets it doesn't budge. As I went through my day I noticed that there wasn't any smudging, which I was most impressed by. IMO there's nothing more disappointing than your mascara melting off your eyes in the middle of the day. You won't have to aggressively tug at your lashes—or even use a specific eye makeup remover—to remove Maybelline's Sky High Mascara at the end of the day. The formula is "washable," so all you need is a little bit of warm water to dissolve the black fibers in seconds—a total game changer on late nights. Okay, so if you apply this mascara in the morning and then want to add more layers to beef up your lashes before you go out, you may run into some issues. I did just this and the formula got suuuuuper flaky, and for the rest of night I felt like I had to constantly monitor the skin under my eyes for rogue flakes. Honestly, everything was going so well until I added those extra coats, so I wouldn't call the formula buildable or layer-able once it dries. Braun's Epilator Gave Me The Smoothest Legs Ever
One thing about me, I'll do whatever it takes to avoid putting a razor to my skin. I'm prone to ingrown hairs, so I refuse to spend time shaving, just for those prickly hairs to grow back the next morning. So when I discovered an at-home device that removes hair for weeks without needing to shave every few days, it basically saved my summer. And no, it's not an at-home laser hair removal device—it's an epilator. If you're new to the epilation game, lemme fill you in. Epilators look a lot like electric razors, but instead of just trimming the hairs at the surface of your skin, it pulls them out from the root. That means no stubble after a short day or two. Instead, you're looking at smooth legs for weeks. And with consistent use, your hair could stop growing back all together. Think: laser hair removal results *without* the hefty price tag and constant appointments. And right now, you can get smooth skin for even less for Amazon Prime Day. Epilators aren't exactly a new invention (my mom used one in the '90s and her legs are still hairless to this day!), but Braun's updated version is sleeker, less painful, and packed with smart attachments to make your hair removal session as simple (and painless) as possible. The Braun Epilator Silk-épil 7 comes with a high-precision epilator head that can grab even the tiniest hairs, a skin contact cap to reduce discomfort, plus bonus attachments like a trimmer and razor head for quick touch-ups (which I haven't had the need to use yet). I've done two sessions on my underarms and legs, spaced about four weeks apart, and my hair has grown back so slowly and sparsely. Like, I've been wearing shorts all summer and haven't touched a razor since early June. I mean, these are the kind of results you get with hundreds of dollars worth of laser hair removal sessions. Full disclosure: The underarm area hurts a little more than the legs since the skin is thinner, but after one session I was used to it. The feeling is similar to a quick tweezer session, and hurts a lot less than laser or waxing, in my opinion. But if at-home IPL lasers are more your speed, a bunch are also on major sale for Prime Day, too! Find all the hair removal deals you'll ever need, below. Medicube Prime Day Sales 2025
My bathroom is starting to look like a mini aesthetician's office with all the beauty gadgets lined up on the shelves. And my go-to facial device—the Medicube Age-R Booster Pro—is currently on major sale for Amazon Prime Day. You know, that sleek little tool every celeb swipes across their face in their skincare videos. It boasts tons of skin-enhancing benefits, and it's like having a personal facialist right in the palm of your hand. The Medicube Age-R Booster Pro packs six powerful treatments into one device to brighten, lift, and tighten your skin. Its booster mode combines red LED light with gentle microcurrents to boost radiance and help your skincare absorb deeper, so that face serum you splurged on will work even harder. Other modes use microcurrents and vibrations to tone muscles, smooth lines, and improve pore elasticity. So basically, you get all these luxe treatments with zero effort and no appointment needed. If glowing, glassy skin like Hailey Bieber's is your ultimate goal (same), this tool seriously levels things up. She's shown herself using it on TikTok, gliding the wand across her cheekbones for that coveted glazed finish. I use it at night after layering on my serums and a hydrating mask, and immediately my skin looks plump and radiant. By morning, I swear I look like I got a facial in my sleep—smoother, less puffy, and way more hydrated. All my skincare seems to do so much more after a few minutes with this device. Just swipe it upwards across your face in a gentle, massaging motion and that's literally it! The Medicube Age-R Booster Pro is like spa-level treatment in your own bathroom—at a fraction of the cost of one facial. I'm definitely snagging a backup while it's on sale. And if you're ready to fully commit to the glowy lifestyle, Medicube's other viral K-beauty essentials are on sale too. I'll personally be stocking up on the Collagen Jelly Cream, aka the perfect skincare partner to the Booster, and the internet's favorite Collagen Wrapping Masks that lock in hydration and give you that glass skin effect overnight. Take up to 75% Off Amazon Overstock Outlet Deals in 2025
My friends, are you ready to shop shopping on Amazon on beginner mode and actually level up your deal hunting? The Amazon Overstock Outlet is going to be your new go-to place to browse for discounted, well, everything. If you've never heard of it, you're not the only one. It's a lowkey section that only the most seasoned shoppers are aware of—and now, that includes you! Basically, it's a hidden section where Amazon sells discounted or clearance items and excess inventory. The Overstock Outlet sells items from legit every category from clothes and beauty products to lawn care, so it's a little, uh, overwhelming to say the least. But for discounts of 30%, 40%, or even 50% off? I'd say it's worth spending some time scrolling through the hundreds of options. Or don't do that and just browse through the curated selection I put together after scrolling through said hundreds of options. I mean, hey, at least we'll all benefit from the hours I committed. My mom is always shopping the Amazon Outlet for clothes and shoes, but it's also a great place for bigger purchases like electronics, kitchen appliances, furniture, and even TVs. Here are some of the steepest discounts and best finds I came across so you can start shopping ASAP. You can click this link right here for easy access to thousands of slashed prices. Or, when you're browsing on Amazon, simply click the left hand side of the search bar and select the outlet option. It doesn't get easier than that! Good question! Both are filled with great deals, but at the end of the day, they're two different things. The Amazon Warehouse is where you can buy refurbished or returned items that are still in great condition, whereas the Amazon Outlet is full of overstock and clearance items that haven't been sold yet. Amazon Warehouse's used items will likely be more discounted, but if you're looking for a brand-spanking new item, Amazon Outlet will be your best bet! Celebrity Beauty Looks from the Bezos-Sánchez Wedding 2025
If you've opened social media for even a minute over the last week, your feed has likely been flooded with photos from Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez's now-infamous wedding. The canals of Venice were lined with protests condemning the hundred million dollar event in a city deeply threatened by climate change, and just a fraction of Bezos' net worth could probably save Venice—but instead, he opted to throw a star-studded wedding featuring Dolce & Gabbana, a foam party, and a fleet of private boats. However, the one thing I could get behind during the nuptials was the celebrity beauty looks. At the Met Gala or award show carpets, the A-list beauty looks are to the nines with full glam squads and updos that won't budge for days. But for the Venetian wedding, we saw surprisingly attainable beauty looks. Think: light glam and bouncy blowouts that I could replicate myself if someone gave me 30 minutes and my Dyson Airwrap. While jetting off to Venice and staying at the Aman for a billionaire's wedding isn't exactly relatable, all of these beauty looks actually are. Keep scrolling for our favorite celeb wedding guest glam—like Kendall Jenner's effortless hair look and Sydney Sweeney's voluminous blowout, which I'm absolutely saving for all my summer weddings and beyond. I'm loving everything about Kris Jenner's voluminous updo. She looks like true Kardashian royalty. This bouncy blowout and baby doll blush look is everything. And super easy to replicate. Oprah's beachy curls with caramel highlights are simple yet elegant. I'm obsessed with this low, slicked-back bun. Kendall's effortless updo is so chic. I will be copying this on the days when I'm too lazy to actually do my hair. Prayers that it will look this good. Karlie Kloss, thank you for the slicked-back updo inspo. I love the defined middle part and the way her side pieces are tucked into the ponytail. Sydney Sweeney's blonde curls are the perfect amount of beachy. I'm not quite sure how Ellie Goulding got on the invite list... but at least her sleek blowout looks fab!
