New "Friday the 13th" Vignette "Sweet Revenge" in Development from Filmmaker Mike P. Nelson

Yara Sameh Jason Voorhees' next story is set to be told by filmmaker Mike P. Nelson. Produced by 'Friday the 13th' franchise owner Horror, Inc., the new Jason Universe project is a bloody short-form vignette titled 'Sweet Revenge' and it's set as 'the centerpiece of the franchise's bold 45th anniversary campaign.' Per the description for 'Sweet Revenge,' 'fans will drop into a chilling weekend in the woods filled with blood-soaked surprises only Jason can deliver.' Nelson is writing, directing and producing through his Rockford Road Pictures banner. Production on 'Sweet Revenge' began earlier this month. The project is set to debut on both the Jason Universe YouTube channel and through a site hosted by Angry Orchard Hard Cider, which is sponsoring the vignette as part of a larger collaboration with the franchise. Horror, Inc.'s 'Friday the 13th' franchise as a whole is aiming to make a big resurgence tied to the original film's 45th anniversary. Recently, the franchise debuted an all-new Jason Voorhees design by artist Greg Nicotero (featured in the image above), announced Jason's integration at Universal's Halloween Horror Nights for the first time in almost a decade, and continued development of A24's highly-anticipated 'Crystal Lake' TV series. Nelson is best known for directing the 2021 'Wrong Turn' reboot and his debut feature, 2018's 'The Domestics.' GTA 6: Four ‘gossips' that might actually be true

A lot has come out about GTA 6, following the second trailer. Rockstar has published a slew of game lore on its website, including details about its characters, some of the storyline, the locations in the game, and more. GTA 6 is going to launch on May 26, 2026.(Rockstar) However, there is a lot that is yet to be unveiled, and it is only going to be revealed when the game is released on 26 May 2026. Having said that, fans and online communities have been talking about several possibilities that could come true in Rockstar's GTA 6. Let us tell you about the top rumours and theories about the world and storyline of GTA 6, which could end up coming true, based on various things that people have spotted. 1. Liberty City could be a visitable location In the second trailer for the game, you see a chase sequence wherein a car has a Liberty City number plate. It is, of course, part of a cutscene, so whether the car is visiting from Liberty City or if you are actually in Liberty City is still up in the air. Another key reason why Liberty City could play a central role in GTA 6 is that Lucia, one of the two protagonists alongside Jason, is from Liberty City, according to Rockstar. Perhaps Liberty City will be a small part of the game, similar to how North Yankton was part of GTA 5. MOBILE FINDER: iPhone 16 LATEST Price 2. The return of dynamic body types Remember GTA San Andreas and how you could get fat or buff depending on how many times you visited the gym? Similarly, because Jason in GTA 6 has a chiseled physique and defined muscles, and we have even seen him working out in the second trailer, it could be that gyms will make a comeback in GTA 6. This could make for a very dynamic experience. Imagine if Rockstar allows you to get better performance from your character if they are muscular compared to when they are overweight. It could certainly make things quite interesting. 3. Pets in GTA 6 Another key detail we found in the second GTA 6 trailer is a cutscene that features a pet iguana inside a glass enclosure in a house. So, maybe you will be able to get pets in GTA 6. However, what is certain is that there are going to be many types of animals in the game. We have seen people walking their dogs in the trailer, and Rockstar has also detailed that there will be a wide variety of animals, including alligators in Leonida, flamingos, and a whole lot more. 4. Refuelling your car In GTA 5, you can enter a car and it can keep going, provided you do not damage it. This means, like most open-world games, you have unlimited fuel. This might not be the case in GTA 6, as online communities have spotted NPCs filling their cars at petrol stations in the game trailer. This could definitely be a hint that you may also need to fill up your car to keep it going. We have seen a similar mechanic in the PlayStation-exclusive game Days Gone, wherein you have to consistently fill up your bike to travel. This could be an interesting addition, considering you might have to plan ahead if you want to go somewhere and keep filling up, just like in real life.

A pair of Eagles legends land on an elite list a quarter century in the making

The following statement has been previously written on this platform. Based on the discussion, it bears repeating. The NFL Draft is a crap shoot. The Philadelphia Eagles drafted two offensive linemen and seven players before taking Jason Kelce with the 191st selection. One of those players was a 26-year-old fireman. Another was a kicker. Jason was a sixth-rounder. Think about that. How might things have turned out had everyone known then what they know now? Jalen Hurts' selection sparked controversy at the time. Everyone knew he had talent. Few could explain why Philadelphia made him a second-round selection, especially seeing as how they had given a boatload of cash to Carson Wentz. Those who objected weren't ready to acknowledge that Philadelphia's leadership was exemplary, and they were wrong. Fast forward to the present. Hurts and Kelce are two of the best players this organization has ever seen. And, they recently earned mentions on a list of some very special NFL stars. Jalen Hurts and Jason Kelce break through on a once-in-a-generation list How about a hand for two of the most beloved (and talented) Eagles ever? Two Super Bowl champions who have more than earned their wings. Bleacher Report's Brad Gagnon pieced together his list ranking the Top 25 NFL Draft picks from the first quarter of the 21st century. Hurts landed at 14. Gagnon stated the following about Hurts: "Anytime you can land a bona fide franchise quarterback without using a top-50 pick, you're winning big. That's what Hurts has done in helping the Eagles get to two Super Bowls in four seasons as a starter, winning MVP in the last one." The take on Kelce was equally satisfying. The G.O.A.T. lands at 11: "Taken three rounds later than his younger brother two years earlier, Jason was a stalwart six-time first-team All-Pro for the usually competitive Eagles." Jason and Jalen are shoo-ins for the Eagles Hall of Fame. Jason will also be enshrined in Canton, Ohio, at the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Might Jalen join him? It's certainly possible. His career has certainly gotten off to a fantastic start. After saying all that, there's only one question remaining. How in the heck was Lane Johnson left off of this list?
