Hollyoaks co-stars Owen Warner and Jason Donovan's daughter Jemma 'suddenly SPLIT after two years of dating'

Hollyoaks stars Owen Warner and Jemma Donovan have reportedly split after two years of dating. The co-stars, who are known for playing Romeo Nightingale and Rayne Royce in the Channel 4 soap, went public with their romance in April 2023. Owen, 26, and Jemma, 25 - who is the daughter of Australian star Jason Donovan - first met while working on the soap and he was introduced to her famous dad on holiday. However The Sun has reported that Owen and Jemma have called it quits after two years, with their split said to be very sudden. A source said: 'It's over and they're no longer friends. It was very sudden - everyone was so upset for them.' MailOnline has contacted representatives for Owen and Jemma for comment. It is the second time the pair have reportedly split after they called it quits back in August 2023, just months after going public with their romance. Owen and Jemma had made their red carpet debut at the British Soap Awards 2023 back in June just a few months before. A source said at the time: 'They had great fun together but, long term, decided it's better to just be friends. 'They are both super- professional, so it won't change anything at work.' Jemma had appeared on Owen's social media many times during their romance and he had been introduced to her famous dad and family on a holiday. The couple confirmed their romance in April 2023 when Owen took to Instagram to share a video pretending to propose to her while on a hike in Mallorca with her family. The clip was buried among a slew of loved-up family holiday snaps as he joked about getting down on one knee in the caption. He wrote next to the video: 'She's still not forgiven me for that one!', after he shocked her with the move. The clip showed them hugging while taking in the mountain views before he gets to the ground before quickly jumping back up to indicate it was a joke. She looked shocked at the 'proposal' and covered her mouth with her hands before he started laughing at her. Speaking about Speaking about their romance earlier that year, Owen told The Sun: 'Jemma kept messaging me and messaging and asking me to go on dates and then I just gave in. 'Ahhh seriously though it took me a while to pluck up the courage to ask her out. 'I've just been on holiday with her family they are all amazing.' Owen previously dated Geordie Shore star Chloe Ferry, but the couple split in summer 2022 amid claims he reportedly messaged glamour model, Apollonia Llewellyn, begging to meet up. Prior to his romance with Chloe, Owen dated Hollyoaks co-star Stephanie Davis. But they split in 2019 after nine months together amid rumours Owen felt that the relationship was 'moving too quickly'. After his break-up with Stephanie, Owen found love with Love Island star and celebrity make-up artist Lana Jenkins after being introduced through mutual friends. Just weeks after his split from Lana, Owen then went on to date The Apprentice's Camilla Ainsworth, going public with their romance at the start of 2021.

Real life soap couple in heartbreaking SPLIT after two years of dating and holidays with her famous dad

A REAL-LIFE soap couple have called time on their relationship after two years of dating. The couple met while both working on the soap and spent two years together, even holidaying with her famous dad. 3 3 3 Former Hollyoaks stars Owen Warner and Jemma Donovan have split, The Sun can exclusively reveal. A source said: 'It's over and they're no longer friends. 'It was very sudden - everyone was so upset for them.' The couple were known for sharing their lives on Instagram, with multiple daily stories and posts shared with their fans. However earlier this month Jemma failed to post anything for Owen's birthday when she had previously gushed over him. And likewise he failed to share her gig with Gary Barlow, despite having previously bigging up all of her professional achievements. Jemma also appears to have untagged Owen in her pictures. Meanwhile Owen has been enjoying a holiday with his brothers - model Louis and videographer Jake. The couple previously shared lavish holidays with Jemma's dad, actor and singer Jason Donovan. Speaking about their romance, Owen previously said: "Jemma kept messaging me and messaging and asking me to go on dates and then I just gave in. Hollyoaks' Owen Warner poses topless with stunning girlfriend Jemma Donovan in Morocco "Ahhh seriously though it took me a while to pluck up the courage to ask her out. "I've just been on holiday with her family they are all amazing.' Jemma joined Hollyoaks in October 2022, with her character Rayne entering a relationship with Owen's role, Romeo. The pair even went public in real-life the following June, but later briefly called time on the romance before reuniting. Real-life soap couples Soaps are renowned for their sweet and scandalous romances – but it's not just in scripted storylines where love is blossoming. A number of our favourite small-screen actors have fallen for co-stars and soapland rivals when the cameras have stopped rolling. Max Parker and Kris Mochrie Despite playing brothers Luke and Lee Posner on Emmerdale, the pair never actually shared any scenes together. But the pair still fell in love after meeting on set. Max and Kris got together in 2020, moving in together later than same year and got engaged in 2022. In a sweet Instagram post, the couple confirmed they're planning a 2025 wedding. Beth Cordingly and Ian Kelsey Beth, who plays Ruby Fox-Miligan, announced her love for her co-star Ian Kelsey, who played Dean Glover, shortly after she joined Emmerdale at the beginning of 2024. 'I am very in love with Ian and very happy. I think it really does work him being an actor too. He has been so fantastic," she gushed. Laura Norton and Mark Jordan Kerry Wyatt and Daz Eden actors Laura and Mark met on the set of Emmerdale in 2014. The couple, who got engaged in 2018, told Loose Women they spent a long time deciding whether they should "just stay as friends." Although it seems they were meant to be and the pair now share two children together. Zoe Henry and Jeff Hordley Emmerdale favourites Zoe and Jeff, who play Rhonda Goskirk and Cain Dingle met at drama college in 1994 and have been together ever since. While working together might be too much for some couples, that's definitely not the case for Zoe and Jeff. Zoe previously told The Sun: "Working on the same show as Jeff also helps because if one of us is having a bad day then the other will completely understand." Lesley Dunlop and Chris Chittell Lesley and Chris are another Dales romantic success story. Unlike some of the other soap stars, the pair who play Brenda Walker and Eric Pollard, are together on and off screen, officially tying the knot in 2016. They also adore working together, but have clear home-work boundaries. "We make a point of not talking about Emmerdale when we're at home, though – that would be just too sad, wouldn't it?" Chris revealed. Sally Carman and Joe Duttine Abi Franklin and Tim Metcalfe actors Sally and Joe got together after meeting on the set of Coronation Street in 2017 and they tied the knot in July 2022. But unlike some of the Emmerdale stars, Sally and Joe prefer that their characters don't interact much. Sally previously admitted it "would be horrendous" to work on a storyline with Joe because "he's too funny." Anthony Cotton and Peter Eccleston Sean Tully may have been unlucky in love on the cobbles, but in real life Antony's met his Prince Charming. The soap star started dating long-term partner Peter in 2005, after they met when he was working as an assistant props buyer on Corrie. Jane Danson and Robert Beck Corrie favourite Jane Danson tied the knot with soap star Robert Beck in 2005. The actress, who plays Leanne Battersby, shares two children, Harry and Sam, with the former Brookside star. During their marriage, Robert has also done a stint in Weatherfield playing criminal Jimmy Dockerson. Caroline Harding and Chris Gascoyne Chris, who played pub landlord Peter Barlow, married soap star Caroline in 2002. Although she is best known as an Emmerdale star, Caroline did visit her husband at work when she did a two-episode stint as doctor on the Manchester soap in 2020. The couple share a daughter called Belle, plus two children, Pip and Freddie from Caroline's previous marriage. Nadine Mulkerrin and Rory Douglas Speed Nadine Mulkerrin, and Rory Doulas Speed are known for their Hollyoaks alter egos Cleo McQueen and Joel Dexter. The loved-up pair got engaged on a December 2018 trip to Amsterdam - just over a year after they announced they were dating. They now share two kids, Reggie and Dougie. Sophie Austin and Shayne Ward Former Hollyoaks star Sophie, whose best known for playing villain Lindsay Butterfield, was introduced to singer and ex-Corrie star Shayne through mutual friends. She gave birth to their daughter Willow in December 2016 and they welcomed a son in 2022. Jemma's character Rayne was murdered in a high-profile storyline in 2023 with Owen's character Romeo being revealed as her killer shortly before his own exit.

Kylie and Jason unlikely to appear in Neighbours second finale

Neighbours' Executive Producer Jason Herbison has revealed that the soap's most famous stars, Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan, are unlikely to feature in the show's finale. In 2022, Channel 5 aired the last ever episode of Neighbours, featuring a host of familiar characters including Minogue and Donovan's Scott and Charlene. Months later, the soap was picked up by streaming platform Amazon Freevee, allowing it to return to screens. However, the beloved Australian soap is set to be taken off-air again in December after the closure of Amazon Freevee. Speaking to Australian soap news website the Neighbours producer said: 'I've already written it, and I would say that, I definitely am not going to try and compete with that finale." In the 2022 finale, Scott (Jason Donovan) and Charlene (Kylie Minogue) return to Erinsborough, while Guy Pearce reprised the role of Mike Young to reunite with childhood sweetheart Jane Harris (Annie Jones). Herbison continued: '"I haven't picked up the phone to Jason and Kylie and Guy again. I've left them alone, but it will be very similar in tone. I think it's a very warm, hopeful tone, but it's also a little bit different. There are things about it that I think might remind people of the previous finale, but it's also very different. "I think, as has been well documented, the show's not ending because people aren't still enjoying it. We still have an amazing following. "Unfortunately, the closure of Amazon Freevee did mean the end of the show. But having said that, at the end of this chapter of the show, they were terrific and gave us lots of notice on it as well, which is as much as you can possibly hope for. It wasn't something that took anyone by surprise." Warning: Spoiler Alert! Herbison teased of the soap's last storylines: "There's a big story for the Rodwells that will be a big challenge for the household, lots of twists and turns, lots of drama and lots of impact for everyone in the street. That will be a massive story right until the end. "The Varga-Murphys have some very big storylines coming up as well. "I'm often asked, are we ever going to meet the Linwells [the dangerous builders from whom the Varga-Murphys had to escape after Cara exposed their dodgy practices]? Yes, maybe we will, but it might not be exactly the story that people are expecting. "But there's definitely another chapter of the Linwells to be told, which also very neatly dovetails into some other stories."
