Actor Shilpa Shirodkar, who starred in hits like Hum, Aankhen, and Khuda Gawah, has opened up about her new way of life post her Bigg Boss 18 stint. Shilpa mentioned that after staying in the Bigg Boss 18 house, she doesn't spend much time in the kitchen and only uses three ingredients to cook her food. This move even left her husband surprised. Shilpa Shirodkar told Zoom, 'My husband travels a lot, and he was here recently and making some mutton curry. I was travelling then. He called me and said, 'There's nothing in the house.'" She added, 'I said, 'What do you mean?' He said, 'There is no akhha garam masala.' I said, 'Oh, I don't use it anymore.' He said, 'You have gone mad.' I said, 'But the food is great otherwise as well, so why do you need so many ingredients?'" Shilpa Shirodkar is married to Aparesh Ranjit, a banker and double MBA. In the same chat, she also opened up about her husband's support in her life. Shilpa and Aparesh used to live in New Zealand, but moved back to India after the actor lost her parents and needed to be closer to her sister, Shilpa Shirodkar. She shared, 'He is a banker by profession, and it's a very different industry, and I have a lot of regard for his kind of work, and he has a lot of regard for my kind of work. In 2009, when we made the shift, my husband was in the best phase of his career, and he knew that I was going through emotional trauma, and I was a wreck, and he knew that it was important for me to come back home and just be around my sister. He said, 'Don't worry about work, it will happen, let's go back home.'" 'The most important thing is respect for each other, which has lasted. Because I personally believe that initially, there is love in any relationship, but it's the respect that lasts forever," she shared, reflecting on their long-lasting marriage. Shilpa Shirodkar is not letting the paparazzi off the hook this time. The actress attended an event where she had a light-hearted yet memorable exchange with photographers, and a video of the moment is now making the rounds online. In the clip, Shilpa is seen striking a pose for the cameras when one of the photographers asks her to look to her right. Without missing a beat, Shilpa turns her head and quickly points out that it is her left side. 'Yeh mera left hai (This is my left side)," she said as she corrected the photographer with a smile. While the photographer immediately realises the mix-up and accepts the mistake, Shilpa decides to keep the moment going with her sense of humour. 'Main soch rahi thi sirf main hi confused hu normally life or right mein (I was thinking I'm the only one who usually gets confused between left and right)," she said. As for her outfit, Shilpa chose an elegant look for the evening. She wore a floral-printed dress that featured a relaxed yet graceful silhouette. Her look was accessorised with eye-catching jewellery pieces. She completed the look with soft, dewy makeup and wore her hair down in soft waves. In a recent interview with IANS, Shilpa shared that being part of the show became a personal experience for her and even marked a new chapter in her life. 'I have always been spiritually inclined. I enjoy learning, listening, and exploring different kinds of knowledge. So, when this show came my way, it felt like a life-changing moment for me. I thought to myself that if I were to be a part of this project, it would offer so much more for me to learn, both professionally and personally," she said. Apart from this, Shilpa is also set to appear in Jatadhara, a much-awaited pan-India supernatural thriller. The film marks her return to the big screen after a long gap.
