10-year-old killed in SH1 crash near Motutere

Police have released the name of a 10-year-old who died in a crash near Motutere earlier this month.
Jax Tauroa-Wall died in the
two-vehicle collision
on the evening of 4 July.
Police were called to the crash on State Highway 1, and said despite the best efforts of staff the child died at the scene.
Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are continuing, police said.
