Jeep Compass EV Prices Out In UK- India Launch Likely For Creta EV Rival?

Jeep unveiled the third-generation Compass with a hybrid and an EV powertrain in May. A month after the reveal, Jeep has now announced the prices of the Compass EV in the UK. The 2025 Jeep Compass retains the silhouette from its predecessor but gets refreshed elements on the exterior and interior. However, the sad part is that the brand has not yet specified details of the third-gen Jeep Compass's launch in India. Jeep Compass EV: Prices Jeep confirmed that the orders for the Compass EV will open in Q3 2025, with prices starting at Euro 35,700 (Rs 35.60 lakh approx.) for the e-Hybrid variant and Euro 39,200(Rs 39.09 lakh approx.) for the all-electric model. Jeep Compass EV: Exterior The Jeep Compass EV retains the overall design cues from its ICE predecessor. However, it gets a few changes like more angular LED headlights with slender air intakes on the front bumper. The SUV also boasts more defined fenders. To enhance this, it showcases a more rugged shape with a similar pattern on the wheel arches and plastic cladding. Additionally, the front and rear overhangs have been shortened. In the higher trims, this is complemented by the 20-inch alloy wheels. Jeep Compass EV: Interior On the inside, the Jeep Compass EV gets a refreshed look with a larger 16-inch infotainment display, a 10.0-inch instrument cluster, a series of buttons, and a rotary control unlike most of its rivals with touch-based controls. The center console and dashboard also feature accents that resemble aluminum. It includes features such as a dual sunroof and a head-up display. Jeep Compass EV interior Jeep Compass EV: Powertrain The Jeep Compass EV is equipped with a 74kWh battery coupled with an electric motor that delivers 213 hp and 345 Nm of torque. It supports 160kW DC rapid charging, achieving 20-80% in just 30 minutes. Jeep also offers a 22 kW AC onboard charger as an option.

2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee Teased with Tweaked Front End and Cabin

Jeep teased a refreshed 2026 , which will be revealed in full later this year. The mid-size SUV gets revised front-end styling with updated headlights and reworked grilles. The cabin is largely the same but features simplified climate controls and smaller knobs that now live on either side of the touchscreen. The Jeep Grand Cherokee is the American brand's bestseller, but it's in need of an update. The latest generation arrived for the 2021 model year as the three-row Grand Cherokee L before adding a two-row variant for 2022. Last year, sales of the SUV declined 12 percent to 216,148 units (down from 244,594 sales in 2023). Luckily, Jeep is readying a refresh for the mid-size SUV, releasing two teaser images for the 2026 Grand Cherokee today that show a glimpse of its reworked styling and cabin. The changes to the Grand Cherokee's front end are subtle but significant. The headlights sport a new hockey-stick-shaped LED strip along the top edge that curves down to meet the upturned chrome trim that links the grille to the bottom of the headlight. The grille also has a new look with reworked silver trim that seems to take inspiration from the recently revealed Jeep Compass EV, currently only destined for Europe. The front bumper has been thoroughly redesigned, splitting the lower air intake into two separate elements. The top section is linked to the side vent via the daytime running light, while the chrome strip along the bottom of the lower grille now curves upwards at the outer edge of the front fascia. Anecdotally, we recently spotted a prototype of the refreshed Grand Cherokee in the Detroit area, and the camouflage was concentrated on the front, suggesting that the rear styling could remain largely unchanged. The cabin is also restyled, most notably on the center console, where the bank of climate-control buttons below the central touchscreen has been simplified into a single row of buttons. The two knobs are now smaller and live higher up, sitting on either side of the screen along with a few other buttons. The passenger screen also looks like it may have grown in size, but we'll have to wait for more details from Jeep before we can say for sure. Jeep says the Grand Cherokee will continue to be built at Stellantis' plants in Detroit and will continue to offer both the two-row and three-row L models, as well as the plug-in hybrid 4xe powertrain. More information about the 2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee will emerge later this year.
