Stolen vehicles found at York County chop shop, man charged
YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — A Maryland man faces charges in connection with a York County chop shop discovered in January, according to State Police. Jamal Desouza, 26, is alleged to be the owner of a chop shop in the 500 block of Carlisle Street in Hanover Borough, where 11 stolen vehicles were found during a search on Jan. 10, according to court documents. DOGE: Several government offices to close in Central Pennsylvania A criminal complaint shows that investigators from Baltimore contacted the Pennsylvania State Police for help because they were watching a stolen 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk entering Pennsylvania. State Police responded and followed the Jeep until it parked at the property in Hanover, which appeared to be a commercial garage.
