Michael Jordan's Son Sends Quiet Message to LeBron James on Saturday
Michael Jordan's Son Sends Quiet Message to LeBron James on Saturday originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The debate over who's the greatest basketball player of all time never seems to end. Whether it's LeBron James, Michael Jordan or someone else entirely, fans stay passionate and divided. Advertisement Even so, there appears to be mutual respect between the Jordan and James camps. That respect showed up again this weekend when LeBron posted a video of himself golfing. The caption read: 'Day 2 of officially trying this ⛳️🏌🏾 out! Boy o boy it's a mind [expletive] to say the least! But I think I enjoy that part of it a lot!' James, approaching his 41st birthday in December, looked a little raw on the course. Still, Michael Jordan's eldest son, Jeffrey Jordan, seemed to give him credit, posting four clapping emojis in the replies. While it wasn't a loud endorsement, fans noticed the acknowledgment, which felt like a quiet nod of approval from the Jordan side. He's also played for the Miami Heat and currently stars for the Los Angeles Lakers. There's been plenty of speculation about James possibly switching teams for one last championship run before he retires. If LeBron suits up for the 2025-26 season, he'll break Vince Carter's record for most seasons played in the NBA. He's already passed the all-time record for minutes played and continues to extend it. The Band Camino Preview New Album ‘NeverAlways' With Double Song Release
The Band Camino are serving up a double shot of singles as they announce their forthcoming third studio album NeverAlways, out July 25 via Atlantic Records. The three-piece band have previewed the LP with 'Stupid Questions' and 'Hates Me Yet (222),' two records that capture the high and low points of an emotional spiral. 'Both 'Stupid Questions' and 'Hates Me Yet (222)' came from a similar headspace — that spiral you slip into when you care a little too much and think a little too hard,' Jeffrey Jordan said in a statement. 'We wanted these songs and their visuals to capture the way overthinking can feel both ridiculous and heavy at the same time … two sides to the same door, except one's a smirk and the other's a blow to the chest.' 'All at once, the music is the juxtaposition of who we've been, where we're going, and where we're headed,' Jordan said. 'We wouldn't have made this record five years ago. It's a perfect snapshot of what we're listening to, how our tastes have matured, and how we've evolved. We're continuing to take people on a journey.' NeverAlways will span 11 tracks and precede an extensive North American tour. The Band Camino will hit the road on Oct. 10 with an opening show in Atlanta. The band will make stops in Orlando, Austin, Salt Lake City, Toronto, Brooklyn, Louisville, and more before closing out the first leg of the tour in Nashville on Nov. 22. General sale begins Friday, June 27. NeverAlways follows the 2023 release of the band's second album, The Dark. 'We've had a lot of self-deprecating, 'I'm sad, I'm the problem, I messed up' songs in the past,' Jordan told Rolling Stone at the time. 'We have some songs on this album that are more like, obviously, I have my flaws and I'm a very imperfect human. But maybe in this scenario of this certain world that this song is living in, maybe I wasn't the one that was the problem — maybe it was them, maybe they were toxic — which is something we haven't really tapped into before.'
