Two on motorcycle killed after colliding with vehicle in Stark County
STARK COUNTY, Ohio (WJW) — Two people on a motorcycle were killed after colliding with a car Tuesday night in Sandy Township.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, 53 year-old Richard Townsend, Jr. was driving a 2013 Harley Davidson north on State Route 43 just before 11 p.m.
According to troopers, a vehicle going south on State Route 43 turned left into a private driveway. That's when the motorcycle crashed into the vehicle, according to OSHP.
Townsend and his passenger, 48-year-old Jennifer Byers, were pronounced dead at the scene.

Troopers said neither Townsend or Byers were wearing helmets at the time of the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
