Jennifer Lopez is 'done' with marriage
Jennifer Lopez is "done" with marriage after splitting from fourth husband Ben Affleck last year. The 55-year-old pop star/actress was married to Ojani Noa, Cris Judd and Marc Anthony before tying the knot with Affleck in 2022, but they split in 2024 after less than two years of marriage and Jennifer has now suggested she won't be walking down the aisle ever again. Video footage taken during her concert in Bilbao, Spain on Wednesday (16.07.25) and posted on X, showed Jennifer spotting an audience member holding up a sign which read: "J. Lo, marry me?" and she said: "I think I'm done with that. I've tried that a few times." Jennifer, 55, was engaged to Hollywood actor Affleck in the early 2000s, but the relationship ended shortly before they were due to get married. They got back together in 2021 before tying the knot in two ceremonies in 2022 - one in Las Vegas and one in Georgia. The divorce filing came exactly two years after the couple's extravagant second bash on August 20, 2022. The paperwork listed the official date of their separation as April 26, 2024. The singer later admitted it had been an "intense year" and she was looking forward to taking time off and spending the holidays with her family. She told People magazine: 'It was a pretty intense year for me and I'm most looking forward to spending time with my kids and my family coming out from the East Coast. "The holidays are such a special time for us and they've always been since I was a little girl. And I really look forward to those moments when I can be with my sisters and just relax and have fun and create new memories. "We don't get to see each other all year, so we kind of catch up on what everybody's doing and how life is. It's just a beautiful time. I really enjoy it." The former couple's divorce was finalised in January. Jennifer has since returned to the road after cancelled her previous tour to focus on family matters. The singer kicked off her Up All Night tour in Pontevedra, Spain on July 8. The shows will be performed across Europe before heading to the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Armenia, Turkey, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. The Jenny From The Block star will then return to the US later in the year to launch her Up All Night residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas on December 30. The Las Vegas residency is due to run through until March 2026.

Jennifer Lopez has detailed the "very difficult time" after her split from Ben Affleck in a new song. The 55-year-old singer/actress split from the Hollywood actor in April 2024 after less than two years of marriage and the break-up came shortly after she cancelled her This Is Me ... Now tour to spend more time with her family - but she's now preparing to hit the road again and she's been working on new music, which she debuted at a fan listening party in Los Angeles on Wednesday (02.07.25). Attendee Edgardo Luis Rivera told US Weekly one of Jennifer's new songs called Wreckage of You touches on the tough times she's been through recently, saying: "Wreckage of You is a pop ballad that she told us she co-wrote and recorded two weeks ago. "She said she was lying in bed after a long day of tour rehearsals when the idea of the song came to her. She mentioned how last year was a very difficult time for her both personally and professionally. She had to cancel her tour and really focus on herself. "Fast-forward to one year later, and she feels better and stronger than ever, so she wanted to write a song about coming out of a bad situation much stronger." Edgardo added: "She feels very free right now and on this summer tour, she wants to perform some new material that she's been working on because a lot of these new songs express how she feels." Another listening party guest told the publication: "[Wreckage of You is a] very emotional, empowering song about walking away from a relationship and coming out a stronger person." Ben Affleck may have just dropped a major hint about the reason for his split from Jennifer Lopez after the Hollywood stars settled their divorce. Affleck, 52, spoke to MNSBC's Morning Joe on Tuesday alongside his The Accountant 2 co-star Jon Bernthal about the sequel to the 2016 film. It comes after the Good Will Hunting star and Lopez's divorce was settled in the Los Angeles Superior Court on January 6, months after she filed for the separation last August, marking the end of their two-year marriage. Speaking to MNSBC, Affleck said, "the people you love the most drive you the most crazy sometimes." Although his remark appeared telling given the timing, he was specifically referring to his The Accountant 2 character and his dynamic with his brother Braxon (Bernthal) in the action thriller. Affleck, who portrays money laundering accountant Christian Wolff, said Wolff and Braxton's shared humour is "rooted in that relationship." The actor also addressed photographs that frequently capture him looking glum in public and assured fans he is "happy". In January, a photo of Affleck appearing visibly frustrated as he spoke to police outside his home in Brentwood, California, made global headlines. While it's unclear what the actor had said to police, a source in January told Page Six law enforcement was present because neighbours had private security roaming the area, keeping residents from going into their homes. The source said Affleck was 'talking to the police about that situation,' and could eventually go to his home. His MNSBC interview comes a week after he said was Lopez "spectacular" and "an enormously important, tremendous person of a lot of integrity who I adore and am grateful to" while speaking to Entertainment Tonight. Divorce documents for Affleck and Lopez, nicknamed Bennifer by the media, showed the pair settled their divorce through mediation. Neither party had to pay the other alimony. Lopez removed Affleck from her legal name once the divorce when their divorce was finalised in February. The couple married in Las Vegas in 2022 and held a wedding celebration for family and friends the following month, following a long history. Their initial wedding was postponed in 2003 "due to the excessive media attention" and they split in 2004. Speculation of a Bennifer reunion reached fever pitch in 2021 when the pair were photographed together and later confirmed they had relinked their love that year, 20 years after Affleck first proposed to her. Affleck and Lopez met on the set of their romantic comedy Gigli in 2001, and he was featured in her Jenny From The Block music video in 2002.
