90s heartthrob looks unrecognisable as he sports salt and pepper hair and a bushy beard in rare social media post - but can you guess who he is?

This 90s movie heartthrob looked unrecognisable with salt and pepper hair and a bushy beard in a rare social media post. The actor was catapulted to fame as an obnoxious Beverly Hills student in the now iconic 1995 movie Clueless, alongside the likes of Alicia Silverstone and Paul Rudd. Looking worlds away from his clean cut movie character, he chatted animatedly with his followers in the clip while tending to his garden. In recent years the actor has made a name for himself on the small screen starring in HBO 's Six Feet Under, Law & Order and since 2018 had a lead role in cop show FBI. While back on the silver screen he has voiced numerous animated movies, including the King Runeard in Disney's Frozen II. But can you guess who he is? Of course it's none other than award winning actor Jeremy Sisto, 50, who played the role of Elton Tiscia in Clueless. The actor previously revealed how he lost out on playing Jack Dawson in romantic epic Titanic to Leonardo DiCaprio. The role of the hero who saves his lady love Rose DeWitt from a sinking ship in the middle of the freezing Atlantic Ocean made an A-lister out of the DiCaprio, a fact that Jeremy admitted he is somewhat envious. 'I was just insanely inspired by it and a little heartbroken when the role didn't come my way,' Jeremy told HuffPost Live of James Cameron's epic 1997 romance. Jeremy, who was 21 when he tried out for the role, was moved by DiCaprio's performance and enjoyed the movie when it came out. 'I loved it,' Jeremy said of Titanic. 'It was a huge thing at the time. What a great idea. 'It was the first script that I'd read where someone was actually going to make the movie. It was exciting to just be a part of the process. There was a full crew, full set and make-up and hair and wardrobe. 'I read with Kate as well as three other actresses. It was on a stage, a room that was supposed to be the boat. It was a pretty great experience, to be involved in something that had that kind of scope... James Cameron was trying to push the limits on things. Of course it's none other than award winning actor Jeremy Sisto, 50, who played the role of Elton Tiscia in Clueless 'I was 19 years old so I was trying to figure out who I was,' he said of the high school flick. 'So when I think back to that time, it was kind of like my college period. A period that you're trying to figure out who you want to be.' Although Clueless became a cult favourite, the actor worried whether he would find other suitable roles. 'For a while I was concerned that I wouldn't be still acting,' he recalled. 'I was really afraid that was going to happen. I'm really proud to be a part of something that was a big thing for people when they were young. For me it was like Breakfast Club when I was a kid.' It comes after fans have been left divided over the announcement of a Clueless television series at Peacock - with Alicia Silverstone set to reprise her iconic role of Cher Horowitz. Silverstone, 48, is not only stepping back into the shoes of Cher, but is also one of the executive producers on the upcoming project, per The Guardian. The series will be written by Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage - who are both known for their involvement in past shows such as Gossip Girl and The O.C. Another writer joining the project is Jordan Weiss who recently worked on the Disney sequel Freakier Friday (2025). Amy Heckerling - who was the director of the 1995 cult classic - is also making a return and is an executive producer on the Peacock sequel series as well, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Other cast and plot details have yet to disclosed with the show still in its development stages. Social media users quickly jumped to X to share their thoughts on the Clueless series, with some offering differing opinions. One penned, 'If she's in it's good but we seriously don't need to touch this Classic,' while another wrote, 'Enough with the sequels.' A fan shared, 'I kinda need them to not touch this classic,' and one X user typed out, 'as long as Alicia is there, it might be good but Peacock doesn't have a good track record when creating new shows.' 'What is up with all these 90's-00's sequels we do not need this!!' one commented while another added, 'i fear this might ruin it.' A social media user also typed, 'I loved this movie as a child, but can we create original movies?' and one penned, 'Not sure how I feel about this, but you know I'll watch it.' However, others expressed their excitement over the sequel series with a fan writing, 'I will be getting that peacock subscription.' Another added, 'I'm honestly excited. We've only had one movie and I've never seen Alicia in anything else. Get your bag queen.'

Former teen pinup looks unrecognisable 30 years after finding fame – but can you guess who it is?

THIS former teen pinup looks unrecognisable 30 years after finding fame in a VERY famous teen comedy. Now 50, this actor has swapped the big screen for the small one and is still enjoying a very successful career - but can you guess who it is? 7 7 7 The actor in question is Jeremy Sisto, who shot to fame in the movie Clueless. Released in 1995, the movie star was just 20-years-old when he landed a role in the cult classic teen flick. Appearing alongside movie stars like Alicia Silverstone and the late Brittany Murphy, he played Elton - the obnoxious, arrogant rich kid who hung out with Cher and her friends. The role shot him and the rest of the cast to HUGE stardom, something Jeremy later admitted he struggled with at first. Opening up to Miami Living magazine in 2021, he said: 'It was a weird life for me, because I was 19 when I did it and I was doing these other dark movies that none of them did as well. "And then, a teen comedy when you're in your 20s, for me anyways, was something I was afraid people were laughing at me —as opposed to seeing what I wanted them to see." Continuing, Jeremy told the publication: "So, there was a period where I guess I was afraid if my career hadn't continued —like a lot of actors, it just sorta dries up— that I'd be seen as somebody who had a shot and failed.' However, his feelings about success changed in his 30s and he embraced his Clueless fame. Referring to a very famous scene in the movie, Jeremy said: 'Now, I'll do 'Rollin' with the homies' for anybody. I don't care.' Jeremy also revealed how his family also enjoy his Clueless notoriety. Trailer for the original 1995 film Clueless "One of my daughter's friends refuses to call me anything but Elton," he once told Us Weekly. Since finding fame in his 20s, Jeremy has remained in the spotlight, but tends to focus his career on the small screen - although he did voice King Runeard in Disney's Frozen II. Over the years he has appeared in big TV shows like Six Feet Under, Law and Order, and Suburgatory. Since 2018, he has played Assistant Special Agent in Charge Jubal Valentine in Dick Wolfe's CBS drama, FBI. Away from the limelight, Jeremy is married with kids and shares daughter Charlie, 16, and son Bastian, 13, with wife Addie Lane. 7 7 7

CBS' FBI Stars Didn't Spoil Isobel's Fate After Life-Or-Death Finale Cliffhanger, But I Love Their Pitches For 'Jumping The Shark' Spinoffs

When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. Fans of CBS' Dick Wolf TV shows knew going into the finales that they would be the last-ever episodes of FBI: Most Wanted and FBI: International, but who would have guessed that FBI would end on a life-or-death cliffhanger for one of the main characters? Not exactly a show known for serialized storylines or season-ending cliffhangers before the 2025 TV schedule, the Season 7 finale seemed like it was about to end with the good guys winning, the bad guys losing, and fans feeling pretty okay heading into hiatus. Instead, Isobel's life is on the line! Alana De La Garza and Jeremy Sisto didn't spoil to CinemaBlend what happens next, but they proved to be a very fun duo when paired up for interviews even after previewing a "frightening" finale. While dodging any spoilers, the two FBI stars came up with some wild spinoff pitches and fun alternate explanations for why Isobel collapsed with no pulse at the end of the Season 7 finale. When I spoke with the actors, I had to ask the obvious question: will De La Garza appear in Season 8? The Law & Order alum teased: Look, you never know. You have to watch! You have to watch Season 8 to see if I'm alive. Does she make it? How does she make it? Is there actually a call? Is she a zombie?... Zombie Apocalypse: FBI. She just comes back [like that]. Hey, if any TV universe could pull off a procedural about zombies, I'd wager that one in the FBI/One Chicago/Law & Order Dick Wolf world would have a fighting chance. Jeremy Sisto wasn't sold on the idea of Zombie Apocalypse: FBI, though, and the actors went back and forth on a potential supernatural spinoff: Jeremy Sisto: "I don't think that's a good idea. That would be jumping the shark for sure." Alana De La Garza: "We'll ask Dick [Wolf]." Jeremy Sisto: "Has Dick ever done a vampire [show]? I don't think he has. A zombie thing?" Alana De La Garza: "I don't think so. Blood and gore, but not that kind." Dick Wolf's current slate of shared universe TV shows via the Wolf Entertainment production company includes Law & Order, Law & Order: SVU, Law & Order: Organized Crime, Chicago Fire, Chicago P.D., Chicago Med, and of course FBI. (CIA will join on CBS in the fall to a certain extent.) They're all different enough shows, but one thing they all have in common? No zombies or vampires. Jeremy Sisto went on to address what it would mean to lose Isobel, so soon after she made a decision with no regrets. With the Season 7 finale currently available streaming with a Paramount+ subscription, the former Clueless star said: I mean, it's huge. Obviously, just the idea of losing Isobel... All of us were like, 'What's going on?' So whatever the fans are feeling, we have also felt, although perhaps we know the results, but we don't know. We cannot say. Despite the laughs between the stars, nobody was smiling when the final credits rolled on the finale. After Maggie and Jubal noticed Isobel stumbling over her words, the ASAC suddenly collapsed to the floor without a pulse. It seems that head wound that had me worried in the promo was more serious than it seemed! In a touch that I particularly loved, Jubal kept calling her "ma'am" when something just seemed a bit off, but switched over to "Isobel!" once she collapsed. Having seen that tragic ending, I got a kick out of De La Garza and Sisto continuing to spin sillier options for what the future holds. They told me: Alana De La Garza: "We cannot divulge." Jeremy Sisto: "That's the idea of it. Either I'm extremely saddened right now because she's not coming back, and I'm hiding that from you." Alana De La Garza: "He is a good actor!" Jeremy Sisto: "Or she is coming back and you'll just have to wait and see. I'm hiding that too. That's what we're supposed to be doing here. I'm playing the middle." But what about Maggie announcing to the assembled agents that Isobel didn't have a pulse, just after they scored such a huge victory against the villains who had infiltrated the Bureau? That's the biggest cliffhanger left after the credits rolled on Season 7, and that left me very happy that FBI scored an early renewal for Season 8. Well, the stars pitched an explanation for the absent pulse: Jeremy Sisto: "She doesn't have a pulse. I checked again, still no pulse. Maybe she just doesn't have a pulse. That's the other thing. They cut out the part where I was like, 'Maggie, it's fine. She just doesn't have a pulse.'" Alana De La Garza: "'Just leave her there. It's fine.'" Will FBI pick up in the immediate aftermath of the cliffhanger in the fall, to show exactly what happened to Isobel after her collapse? Or will Season 8 pick up in real time, with months passed in-universe since Isobel ended the spring without a pulse? Season 7 started last year with the exit of a series regular following a time jump, although Katherine Renee Kane's Tiff Wallace got to walk out alive and well. What about Isobel? We can only speculate for now, but at least Paramount+ has the entire run of the series so far to offer for summer hiatus rewatching.

'I Don't Think She Has Regrets': FBI's Alana De La Garza Talks Isobel's Big Decision, And I Love Jeremy Sisto's Reaction

When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. The FBI action of the spring 2025 TV schedule ends with the Season 7 finale on May 20, which stars Jeremy Sisto and Alana De La Garza described as "frightening." CBS gave the drama a very early renewal, however, so this series isn't ending like FBI: International and FBI: Most Wanted are. I'm already reflecting on some of Season 7's biggest twists, and when I spoke with the two actors, I had to get De La Garza's thoughts on Isobel's decision not to retire. Little did I know, Sisto would have a fun take on it as well! In the same episode that introduced The Flash alum Tom Cavanagh as Isobel's husband, the Special Agent in Charge discovered that she'd reached the 20-year milestone of her career at the Bureau, meaning she had the option of retiring with full benefits. (You can find the episode streaming now with a Paramount+ subscription.) She ultimately decided to stay on as the SAC of 26 Fed... but that was well before a preview for the Season 7 finale revealed Isobel looking worse for the wear with a head wound. So, ahead of the Season 7 finale, does any part of Isobel regret the decision to stay on the dangerous job rather than retire to a safe home life with her new husband? I asked Alana De La Garza, and she shared: I don't think she has regrets about not stepping away. Isobel, to me, is at the core of her soul a justice junkie. I don't know that she'll ever actually give up because she fights for justice. Whether it is a hard decision or an easy decision or a decision that nobody else agrees with, she follows that at her root. So I feel like no, I don't think she regrets it. I think she's definitely on a ride, as people will see. [laughs] Well, I for one nominate "justice junkie" as a term to refer to all crime-fighting characters throughout the extensive Wolf Entertainment TV universe! The Season 7 finale, called "A New Day," looks like one that will take all the investigative skills that Isobel, Jubal, and the rest of their team possess... assuming the entire team can be trusted, anyway, with enemy operatives seemingly infiltrating the FBI. Suffice it to say, FBI seems poised to end the seventh season with a pretty intense episode. In contrast, Jeremy Sisto, who of course plays ASAC Jubal Valentine, added some humor to Alana De La Garza opening up about whether Isobel has any regrets by brainstorming some retirement options. I couldn't love their exchange more, as they bantered back and forth. Jeremy Sisto: "What would she do if she quit?" Alana De La Garza: "She would wither up and die. That's what she would do." Jeremy Sisto: "She joins some clubs." Alana De La Garza: "Tennis club. We'll pick a ball, maybe." Jeremy Sisto: "You'll work for the CIA, jump over to the CIA [set]." Sisto was referring to the upcoming spinoff of FBI, called CIA and starring Lucifer alum Tom Ellis. The two shows will be paired on Monday nights in CBS' 2025-2026 fall TV lineup, and while I think fans have probably been crossing their fingers for characters from the cancelled Most Wanted and/or International to appear on CIA, Sisto was quick to jokingly pitch Isobel as a candidate. Retire from the FBI, only to join the CIA! On a slightly more serious note, Sisto – who came to FBI with experience as a TV detective thanks to three seasons of Law & Order – reflected on the struggles of some law enforcement officers and retirement: For detectives in general, when they quit, they're kinda sad forever. Will Isobel come to regret her decision in the Season 7 finale or into Season 8? We'll have to wait and see on that front, although CBS' previous renewal guarantees a future for FBI through Season 9. For now, check out the promo for "A New Day" and keep your eyes peeled for the head wound that had me a little concerned for the SAC as soon as I saw it: Tune in to CBS on Tuesday, May 20 at 8 p.m. ET for the Season 7 finale of FBI and find out if any familiar faces are double agents. You can also revisit earlier episodes of the hit drama streaming on Paramount+ over summer hiatus. It's much too early to hope for CBS to announce a specific premiere date for Season 8, but we do at least know that FBI will be back with new episodes in the fall.
