Three accused of murder in alleged Harlem gang assault: police
HARLEM, N.Y. (PIX11) — Three men have been accused of killing another in an alleged gang assault in Harlem back in May, according to police.
Around 5:30 a.m. on May 3, officers responded to a Harlem address for a reported assault and found a 33-year-old man later identified as Jervey Barfield with multiple stab wounds to his back.

Barfield was pronounced dead at a local hospital shortly after, and no arrests were immediately made, police said.
Over the next month, an investigation by detectives led to three arrests. 37-year-old Naquan Anderson, of the Bronx, 44-year-old Alvin Nelson, of Manhattan, and 42-year-old Trevor Carpenter, of Roanoke, Virginia, were charged with murder and gang assault.
Police said the investigation is still ongoing.
