Live Euromillions results for Tuesday, July 1: The winning numbers from £43m draw and Thunderball
Below you'll find the winning numbers for tonight's Euromillions draw and Thunderball as they're picked. The Euromillions jackpot for Tuesday, July 1, was a huge £43m. The Euromillions draw takes place every Tuesday and Friday and a ticket costs £2.50. That includes automatic entry into the UK Millionaire Maker draw which creates new UK millionaires every week. The overall jackpot can rise to €190m (approximately £167m). If you entered the Thunderball you stand to win up to £500,000. You can check your numbers below. Good luck! How many numbers do you need to win? If you have got two numbers or one number and two lucky stars or better then you are a winner. Players must match all five main numbers and two lucky star numbers to claim the jackpot. The Thunderball draw was also made tonight and the results will also be displayed below. The Thunderball draw takes place at 8pm and the Euromillions draw takes place at around 8.15pm. In May 2022 Joe and Jess Thwaite, from Gloucester, became the UK's biggest-ever Euromillions winners after netting £184m with a lucky dip ticket. Their record did not last long, though, after another UK winner came forward in July 2022 to claim a jackpot of £195m. However they have not gone public. Prior to Mr and Mrs Thwaite's win the previous record was held by an anonymous winner who scooped £170m in October 2019. On June 4, 2021, a ticketholder in the UK scooped the £111m jackpot in the Friday-night draw, matching all seven numbers to become the country's ninth-biggest lottery winner ever at that stage. In June 2019 a single ticketholder in the UK won £123m in the Tuesday night Euromillions draw. It was the third-biggest Euromillions jackpot in the UK since the draw launched in 2004. It meant they instantly became as rich as Fifty Shades of Grey author EL James (£127m) and Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page (£125m). Euromillions is played in nine European countries. For one Irish ticket holder this is now a reality. The huge jackpot of £208 million was won last night after the prize money had gone weeks without a winner. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 3 No one had claimed the jackpot after four consecutive draws Credit: AFP After four consecutive draws without a winner, the eye-watering sum was eventually scooped up by a winner based in Ireland. The prize pot stood at €250 million, making this lucky ticket holder now Ireland's biggest ever lottery winner. The National Lottery EuroMillions winning numbers were 13, 22, 23, 44, 49 and the Lucky Stars are: 03, 05. The EuroMillions jackpot is capped once it reaches €250m, and is able to be rolled over four times. Once on the fifth draw, the prize must be won! Therefore, Tuesday night's draw was the last chance for the jaw-dropping amount to be rolled over after no one won in the four previous draws. But instead of having to be rolled down into the prize tier on Friday, this Irish lottery entrant became the country's 18th EuroMillions jackpot winner. The last Irish winner of EuroMillions jackpot was in February 2022, when someone netted a respectable €30.9 million which they had bought in a service station. Since the EuroMillions began in 2004, the UK has had 132 jackpot winners - the most of any other nation. France is not far behind with 131 winners, and Spain is the only other nation to have more than 100 winners, with 122. Who are the biggest winners? While the UK leads in terms of all-time winners, no one has ever won a figure close to the £208 million won on Tuesday. The last time a UK winner won big on the jackpot was on November 24 2024, when a lucky ticket holder claimed a prize pot of £177 million. Evelyn Partners, who famously looked after former PM Rishi Sunak's tax return, run the investment company which asks investors to put an initial £500,000 and stump up annual fees of £46,000. The Thwaites held the title for the UK's biggest ever winners for less than two months as their life-changing sum was eventually trumped by a winner on July 19 2022, who bagged a whopping £195m. Already this month, the UK has seen five winners of £3.6 million on June 13, and two more on June 10 and June 6, winning £4.5 million and £2 million respectively. 3 The EuroMillions has run since 2004 with Tuesday night seeing its biggest winner ever Credit: Getty The first EuroMillions draw took place on February 7, 2004, by three organisations: France's Française des Jeux, Loterías y Apuestas del Estado in Spain and the Camelot in the UK.

EuroMillions £208m jackpot will be won THIS WEEK, confirms operator as UK's biggest ever lottery prize rolls over again
By Ethan Singh Anonymous winner - £195,707,000 A UK ticket-holder scooped the record EuroMillions jackpot of £195 million on July 19 2022 – the biggest National Lottery win of all time. The holder, who remains anonymous to this day, amassed the fortune with just one lucky ticket. Joe and Jess Thwaite - £184,262,899.10 Britain's previous EuroMillions record holders were Joe and Jess Thwaite. The couple won a record-breaking £184million jackpot in May 2022 and shared hopes of a Hawaiian holiday and a new horse box for their children's ponies. Joe bought his winning ticket online on May 10, 2022, and the following morning received an email with good news. As he learnt of the huge win, he was in disbelief and initially kept it for himself as he did not want to disturb his wife, who was sleeping. Joe, a communications sales engineer, and Jess, who runs a hairdressing salon with her sister, have been married for 11 years and have two children. Colin and Chris Weir, £161,653,000 Colin and Christine Weir landed the colossal prize money in 2011 and were Europe's second-biggest winners until someone in Italy won a jackpot worth £193m in 2019. They splashed the cash at an astounding rate of £100,000 a week before tragedy struck. But at the time of Colin's death in December 2019 his share of the prize money had dwindled by around £40m. He spent the millions living a life of luxury, forking out for sports cars, property and the football club he supported. Colin and Christine divorced shortly before his death after being married for 38 years. He left money for their children Carly and Jamie. Adrian and Gillian Brayford - £148,600,000 Adrian and Gillian won 190 million euros in a EuroMillions draw in August 2012, which came to just over £148 million. But Adrian split from Gillian the following year because of the stress of the win. The couple bought a Grade II listed estate in Cambridgeshire, complete with cinema and billiards room, but it was sold in 2021. After divorcing in 2013, he failed to woo ex-sausage factory worker Marta Jarosz — but fell for stable girl Sam Burbidge. She left him in 2017, taking 30 prize horses Adrian bought. It might have worked out in the end for Adrian though as the former postman was seen smiling with ambulance worker Tracey Biles last year. Frances and Patrick Connolly - £114,969,775 Former social worker and teacher Frances set up two charitable foundations after she and her husband hit the jackpot. They scooped almost £115 million on New Year's Day 2019. She estimates that she has already given away £60 million to charitable causes, as well as friends and family. Richard and Debbie Nuttall - £61,000,000 The couple from Colne, Lancashire, took home £61 million on January 30 2024. Both 54, they were enjoying a holiday in Fuerteventura, celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary. But they then discovered the big EuroMillions win. Richard revealed they originally thought they had won £2.60, but then received another email telling the pair to check their account. Other eye-watering anonymous winners: 2019 - £123million Another anonymous winner scooped up a prize of £123,458,008 in the June Superdraw rollover. 2021 - £122million Following nine rollovers, one ticketholder bagged the £122,550,350 jackpot last April. The successful participant chose to remain anonymous. 2018 - £121million Another anonymous winner found their fortune during the Superdraw jackpot rollover in April 2018, securing £121,328,187.
