The moment Ozzy Osbourne's rarely-seen daughter Jessica revealed he'd become a granddad for the first time as she's snubbed from family's statement announcing his death

The moment Ozzy Osbourne 's rarely-seen daughter Jessica revealed he'd become a grandfather for the first time has been revealed, following his death on Tuesday. The Black Sabbath frontman, had six children, including three with his wife Sharon, with his younger children Kelly and Jack known for appearing with him on reality show The Osbournes. Ozzy also had two children with his first wife Thelma Riley, son Louis and daughter Jessica, and he adopted his wife's son Eliot. However, Jessica and Eliot were noticeably absent from the family's statement announcing Ozzy's death, which was signed by his children Jack, Kelly, Aimee and Louis, along with wife Sharon. Jessica has been noticeably silent since her father's death, and she's remained largely out of the spotlight. She was the person who made Ozzy a grandfather for the first time, and despite never appearing in The Osbournes' TV show, she was mentioned in the episode 'Smells Like Teen Spirits,' when Ozzy learned that she had welcomed a daughter. The moment Ozzy Osbourne 's rarely-seen daughter Jessica made a surprise appearance in the late rocker's reality show has been revealed In a clip from the episode, which aired in 2002, Ozzy was told that his daughter's husband Ben would be calling him when 'the baby was born.' An off-camera producer asked Ozzy if that was 'his daughter,' and the rocker nodded, before insisting he thought the baby was going to be a boy. The episode then cut to the next scene, where Ozzy revealed that his first grandchild was a girl named Isabelle. After one of his daughter Kelly's pals quipped that he was a 'little grandfather,' he hit back: 'Don't f*****g say those words.' Jessica has two daughters, Isabelle and Kitty, and one son called Harry. Ozzy had three children from his first marriage, and three from his marriage to Sharon, whom he remained married to until his death. Before tying the knot to Sharon, he married his first wife Thelma Riley in 1971 after meeting her in a Birmingham nightclub. Together, they welcomed children Jessica and Louis, although details surrounding their birthdays are unclear. After one of his daughter Kelly's pals quipped that he was a 'little grandfather,' he hit back: 'Don't f*****g say those words' Ozzy also adopted Thelma's five-year-old son Elliot from a previous relationship. Louis now works as a DJ and married actress Louise Lennon in 2004. The pair tied the knot in 2004, with Ozzy unable to attend after suffering major injuries after being injured in a quad bike accident. In the 2011 documentary film God Bless Ozzy Osbourne, produced by his son Jack, he revealed that he could not even remember when Louis and Jessica were born. Louis also opened up about growing up with a drunk father. 'When he was around and he wasn't [drunk], he was a great father,' he said in the documentary. 'But that was kind of seldom, really. I just have a lot of memories of him being drunk, random s**t like driving cars across fields and crashing them in the middle of the night and stuff like that. 'It's not good for family life, really.' His older sister, Jessica added: 'I don't remember being put to bed or having a bath by dad or anything like that. 'I wouldn't say he was there for us, no, never on sports day, school trip, parents' evening. He wasn't like that, no.' After divorcing Thelma, Osbourne went on to marry Sharon in 1982. Their first child, daughter Aimee was born September 2, 1983. One year later, they welcomed daughter Kelly (born October 27, 1984), and on November 8, 1985, their son, Jack was born. Aimee - who is also a singer and performs under her initials ARO - was born in London and raised in California until the age of 16 but moved out of the family home as filming for The Osbournes began in the early 2000s. Reflecting on her decision to not appear on the show she said: 'Back then, I still felt I was trying to figure out who I was in the chaos of family life, so why on earth would I want that portrayed on television? 'I wanted to protect myself, my parents, my siblings, too. They were very young, very impressionable.' She later defended her decision in 2008 and told The Independent: 'I'm not some weirdo depressed daughter that's afraid of the world and locks herself in her room all day. 'I just didn't choose to do the show. I want to be a singer, and I felt if I'd stayed with the Osbournes and done the whole thing I would have been typecast right away. '[Sharon] was hurt, and we definitely had a tough time with disagreements. I'm more reserved and my private life is very important.' Aimee also has a strained relationship with younger sister Kelly, who confirmed in an interview four years ago that they are estranged. Appearing on the Dax Shepard podcast - Armchair Expert in 2021, Kelly revealed: 'We don't talk. We're just really different. 'She doesn't understand me and I don't understand her.' Back in 2015 Aimee admitted to The Independent that she and Kelly were not on close terms and said: 'I wouldn't say there is an ease between us, but there is an acceptance. Do we socialise? No.' However, Aimee and brother Jack's bond is much better, with the pair both running production company Osbourne Media together. On Wednesday, MailOnline revealed that an air ambulance was called to Osbourne's multi-million-pound country home as paramedics battled to save his life. The Thames Valley air ambulance landed in a field close to Welders House, the singer's Grade II listed mansion on Tuesday morning at around 10.30am. It's believed that calls from Welders House had led call handlers to believe that the Black Sabbath singer's life was in the balance. A chopper was dispatched from Thames Valley ambulance base at RAF Benson in Wallingford, Oxfordshire, some 27 miles from the mansion which is located close to the village of Chalfont St Giles, Buckinghamshire. The crew were airborne for around 15 minutes before landing in the grounds of the mansion and were then with Osbourne for around two hours, trying but failing to save his life, it's understood. News of the helicopter drama is the first insight into the finer details of the singer's death. News of Ozzy's death was shared by the Osbourne family in a statement on Tuesday, which read: 'It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. 'He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time. Sharon, Jack, Kelly, Aimee and Louis.' Ozzy revealed earlier this year that he could no longer walk amid his years-long battle with Parkinson's disease. However, he still managed to reunite with his bandmates Geezer Butler, Tony Iommi and Bill Ward for their final gig earlier this month. Amid his ailing health, Ozzy admitted he was unsure whether to perform standing up or sitting down following a series of spinal operations. The singer was in strict training, which even saw his blood pressure being taken 15 times a day. He explained: 'I have got this trainer guy who helps people get back to normal. It's hard going, but he's convinced that he can pull it off for me. I'm giving it everything I've got. 'It's endurance. The first thing that goes when you're laid up is your stamina. 'I am having my blood pressure taken 15 times a day.. I've got this f***ing device on my finger. It's a monitor to say how my heart rate is.' Ozzy vowed to do the 'best he can' during his final show after his string of health concerns in recent years.

Ozzy Osbourne's secret kids quietly honor late Black Sabbath frontman after being left out of family tribute

Two of Ozzy Osbourne's lesser-known kids, Jessica and Louis Osbourne, quietly honored the late rocker after being left out of the family tribute. After news that the Black Sabbath vocalist passed away surfaced, both Jessica and Louis, whom Ozzy shared with his first wife, Thelma Riley, took to social media to subtly pay their respects. Louis, 50, simply changed his Facebook profile picture to a black square. Jessica, on her end, took to her Instagram Stories to repost a tribute from the 'On With Mario Lopez' podcast. She wrote, 'RIP Ozzy,' above. On Tuesday, Ozzy's family confirmed he had died earlier that day. He was 76. 'It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning,' the statement read. 'He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time,' they added before signing off as Sharon, Aimeee, Kelly, Jack and Louis. The family did not share any further details about the Prince of Darkness's death. Jessica and Elliot — whom Riley gave birth to during a previous relationship and Ozzy had adopted during their marriage — were notably left off the statement. Although not much is known about Elliot and his relationship with Ozzy, the singer was estranged from Jessica, whom he and Riley welcomed first in 1972. 'My recollection from my childhood with dad is that he'd be away for very long periods of time, and there'd always be a period of adjustment when he came home, and then it'd get to normality and then he'd go again,' she said in the 2011 release of 'God Bless Ozzy Osbourne,' per E! News. 'So, it was a very erratic childhood with dad.' In the years leading up to Ozzy's death, he was suffering from several debilitating health ailments, including Parkinson's disease and a spinal injury. Earlier this month, the rockstar performed his final show with his Black Sabbath bandmates at the Villa Park Stadium in Birmingham, England. Ozzy's final Instagram post was also a tribute to his last show with his bandmates: Tony Iommi, Bill Ward and Geezer Butler. After Ozzy's death, the remaining members of Black Sabbath paid tribute to their 'brother' on social media. 'My dear dear friend Ozzy has passed away only weeks after our show at Villa Park,' Iommi wrote. 'I can't really find the words, there won't ever be another like him,' the guitarist added. 'Geezer, Bill and myself have lost our brother.' Solve the daily Crossword

Ozzy Osbourne's secret kids quietly honour late rocker after his death aged 76

As tributes continue to pour in for late rocker Ozzy Osbourne, his two secret kids from his first marriage have also quietly honoured him on social media. In the hours since the news broke of his death on Wednesday, Jessica and Louis Osbourne – who Ozzy shared with first wife Thelma Riley – took to their respective Instagram and Facebook accounts to remember their father. Jessica reposted On With Mario Lopez's tribute post on her Instagram Stories, on which she wrote 'RIP Ozzy' over the image of the Black Sabbath frontman. The 45-year-old also included Crazy Train – Ozzy's 1980 debut solo single which appeared on his first solo album, Blizzard of Ozz – as her post's backing music. Meanwhile, Louis, 50, simply changed his Facebook and Instagram profile pictures to a black circle. Just weeks before Ozzy's death, Louis, a music producer, attended his father's farewell performance with Black Sabbath in Birmingham, England, on July 5. Following the concert, Louis revealed on Facebook that he got 'hugely emotional' during the show. 'I was sobbing at times. It was everything we wanted it to be and more,' he wrote, as per the BBC. 'I had been anxious for months about this as I've been worried about my dad's ability to perform with his Parkinson's disease.' 'I just wanted it to be a dignified send off for him. But as soon as he started singing we knew he was gonna nail it.' Although Louis was present for Ozzy's final concert, it is believed daughter Jessica was estranged from her father. 'My recollection from my childhood with dad is that he'd be away for very long periods of time, and there'd always be a period of adjustment when he came home, and then it'd get to normality and then he'd go again,' she said in the 2011 documentary of God Bless Ozzy Osbourne, as per E! News. 'So, it was a very erratic childhood with dad.' The rest of Ozzy's family – his wife Sharon and their kids, Aimee, Kelly and Jack – have yet to share individual tributes, but they did release a statement to announce the rocker's death on Wednesday, aged 76. 'It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love,' they wrote in the post. 'We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time. Sharon, Jack, Kelly, Aimee and Louis.' While Louis was included in the post, Jessica was not. The Prince of Darkness was married to Thelma from 1972 to 1982, during which they welcomed Louis and Jessica. The pair met in 1970 while on a night out. At the time, Ozzy was still establishing his music career with Black Sabbath, while Riley was a teacher. They were married in 1972 two years after Black Sabbath released their self-titled debut album. 'She was beautiful and I wanted to talk to her,' he wrote in his 2010 memoir I Am Ozzy. 'I pulled her on the dance floor.' 'I thought it was what you did: get some dough, find a chick, get married, settle down, go to the pub.' The couple were married for 11 years before splitting in 1982, with Ozzy admitting in his memoir that their union a 'terrible mistake' and he was not the perfect husband or father during his marriage to Thelma. 'I put that woman through it. I should have never married her. She didn't deserve it,' he wrote, taking full responsibility for his shortcomings. 'She wasn't a bad person, and she wasn't a bad wife. But I was a f***ing nightmare.' Osbourne first met Sharon in 1970 while her father, Don Arden, was managing Black Sabbath. She went on to become Ozzy's manager and, although he was married to Thelma at the time, Ozzy and Sharon's professional relationship turned into a romantic one, according to People. The rocker divorced Thelma in 1982 and shortly after married Sharon. In 2022, when celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary, Sharon shared a sweet Instagram message to her husband. '2022 is a special year for me. It marks 40 years of marriage to my darling Ozzy,' she wrote at the time. 'We first met when I was 18, over 52 years we have been friends, lovers, husband & wife, grandparents and soulmates.'

His children Jack, Kelly, Aimee, and Louis, were named along with wife Sharon in the statement. And lesser-spotted Louis chose to pay his respects with his own tribute to his father on social media. Ozzy's son changed his Facebook profile picture to an all-black screen. Before tying the knot to Sharon, Ozzy had married his first wife Thelma Riley in 1971 after meeting her in a Birmingham nightclub. Together, they welcomed children Jessica and Louis, who have been largely away from the limelight. Jessica, who was not included in the family statement, also posted a tribute to rock legend Ozzy on Instagram. Her story featured a pictures of her late father in black and white with the words "RIP Ozzy". The tribute was accompanied by Ozzy's song 'Crazy Train' playing in the background. Jessica made the Black Sabbath frontman a grandparent for the first time but never appeared in The Osbournes' TV show. However, she was mentioned in the episode 'Smells Like Teen Spirits' when Ozzy learned that she had welcomed a daughter. In 2001, Ozzy appealed to a whole new audience after appearing in reality TV show The Osbournes with his family. Its first series was the most-watched show ever on MTV and propelled Jack and Kelly into stardom, with the latter enjoying a music career of her own. With the family's success growing, they hosted the 30th Annual American Music Awards and later the Brit Awards in London. The Osbournes who were snubbed from the family tribute: Ozzy's little-known son who was included in touching statement breaks his silence alongside sister who was left out - as mystery adopted child stays quiet

Ozzy Osbourne is survived by his six children following his death aged 76 on Tuesday - despite only four being mentioned in the family statement. The Black Sabbath frontman passed away 'surrounded by love', with children Jack, Kelly, Aimee, and Louis, along with wife Sharon named in the statement. But it remains a mystery why his two other children, Jessica and Elliot, were snubbed from the family tribute. Hours after it was published to social media, Jessica reshared Mario Lopez's tribute to her own Instagram and penned, 'RIP Ozzy.' It is unclear if she will release her own public statement, along with Elliot. Jessica was the one who made Ozzy a grandparent for the first time, and despite never appearing in The Osbournes' TV show, she was mentioned in the episode 'Smells Like Teen Spirits,' when Ozzy learned that she had welcomed a daughter. Jessica, who is now a Broadway actress, has two daughters, Isabelle and Kitty, and one son called Harry. Meanwhile, not much is known about Elliot Kingsley as he tends to keep out of the spotlight with no public social media accounts. Louis was clearly devastated by his father's passing, as he changed his Facebook profile picture to an all-black screen. Ozzy and Thelma Riley's son Louis, who was mentioned in the statement despite his siblings being left off, changed his Facebook profile picture to black following the news Louis also opened up about growing up with a drunk father. Back in 2015 Aimee admitted to The Independent that she and Kelly were not on close terms and said: 'I wouldn't say there is an ease between us, but there is an acceptance. Do we socialize? Ozzy vowed to do the 'best he can' during his final show after his string of health concerns in recent years. The star was a titan of music who somehow survived controversies that would end the careers of many others, and weathered health problems that would leave most of us on our backs. The death of the man who invented headbanging ends the final chapter of a life that was marked by both dizzying success and fame but also scandal, abuse and even prison time. The singer, who sold more than 100 million records, will forever be synonymous with the heavy metal band he formed in his home city. With hits that included Iron Man, War Pigs and Paranoid, Black Sabbath's pushing of occult themes proved both hugely popular and controversial, with a future pope even condemning Osbourne for his 'subliminal satanic influence'. Ozzy was born John Michael Osbourne in Birmingham in 1948, and dropped out of school at the age of 15. After serving two months in prison for burglary, he decided to pursue his love of music and by 1970 Black Sabbath had gained a huge following in the US and UK with the release of their first album. Ozzy quit the band in 1978 and divorced his first wife Thelma Mayfair, who he had two children with, four years later, amid his ongoing substance abuse problems. He went on to marry second wife Sharon Osbourne, who helped him transform into a successful solo artist and the couple had three children together. Ozzy gained a whole new audience of fans with the family's reality TV show The Osbournes in 2001. He is survived by his wife Sharon and his five children, Jessica, Louis, Aimee, Kelly and Jack.
