Moo-vement disrupted: Irish Rail 'not talking bull' about train chaos
Irish Rail made sure to tell passengers that they weren't bulling them when a number of trains were stopped due to a cow on the tracks. The bovine was clearly late for its morning commuter train and forgot about train etiquette (perhaps they were born in a barn) as they proceeded to get on the line between Dunboyne and Hansfield. Iarnród Éireann confirmed shortly before 8am that the M3 Parkway to Docklands service was delayed after the cow went on the line, and after a staggering nine updates which included delays on several routes. Irish Rail made sure to tell passengers that they weren't bulling them when a number of trains were stopped due to a cow on the tracks. Pic: Irish Rail/X In its final update, Iarnród Éireann said that a 9am journey between Docklands to M3 Parkway was cancelled, with the services between Hansfield and Clonsilla resuming shortly before 10am, albeit at least 16 minutes delayed. While most wouldn't believe such a story of a cow on the line causing such chaos, someone at Iarnród Éireann had the great idea to help those who may have been late to work as a result; sharing a photo of the cow on the line. 'In case you thought we were talking bull…' they joked alongside a photo of the aforementioned cow. @lineworkbyshane Never a dull day. Don't think your supposed to be there pal#fyp #train #travel #ireland #dublin ♬ Jet2 Advert – ✈️A7-BBH | MAN 🇬🇧 It turned out, however, that they wouldn't have even needed to get a photo of the cow, as someone on TikTok managed to grab a video of the bovine intruder on the platform (to the tune of Nothing Beats a Jet2 Holiday, of course). Amazingly, this wasn't the only animal on the line at the same station; as a horse got on the line at the same time as the cow. Unfortunately, there was no chicken to really make people believe it was a cock and bull story. All in a day's work for our great Infrastructure teams 🐂🐎Bulling to get to work at Hansfield but staying behind the yellow line, and Nigel is a horse of a man helping another stray from the line near Leixlip. Men and beasts safe and well. 🦺👍 Apologies for resulting delays.

Jurassic Park boat ride starts sinking into water in shocking scene at Universal Orlando: ‘One of my nightmares'
Guests on Universal Orlando Resort's Jurassic Park River Adventure ride recently faced something scarier than dinosaurs. A viral TikTok video posted earlier this month appears to show the ride sinking due to an apparent malfunction. The clip, shared on July 11, shows the bow of the boat submerged in the water, with several riders left soaked. No injuries were reported and everyone was escorted safely to dry land. @parksidewithholly Nothing beats a Jet 2 holiday. What's really scary is if you know what's going to happen shortly after that bend. 😅 ♬ Jet2 Advert – ✈️A7-BBH | MAN 🇬🇧 The boat was tilted at nearly a 45-degree angle, with the bow submerged in the water. @parksidewithholly/TikTok The person who posted the video, @parksidewithholly, first shared the clip in June, but it's only now started to go viral. Holly — who was in one of the boats behind the one that started sinking — shared in the comments that 'they straightened it out eventually' and the issue was fixed in 15 minutes. The issue was believed to have been caused by a mix-up with the boat's brakes during a descent into the water. Park staff allegedly 'loaded up' the riders who had to deal with the incident with express passes and bottled water, Holly claimed in a TikTok comment. The Post has contacted Universal for comment. The final drop on Jurassic Park River Adventure is 85 ft. tall at a 55 degree angle. Patrick T. Fallon/Bloomberg via Getty Images Despite the disastrous situation, users were quick to crack jokes beneath Holly's TikTok. 'Relax… it's just gonna take you through the 4D experience!!!' one quipped. 'Are they aware that they are holding up traffic?' another joked. 'This is literally one of my nightmares, imagine having to swim with the animatronics,' a third said. According to the official Universal website, the ride opened in Islands of Adventure in 1999, and at the time featured the largest theme park water descent ever constructed. The boats used are allegedly free floating. The final drop on Jurassic Park River Adventure is 85 feet tall at a 55-degree angle, and 1.5 million gallons of water are used throughout the ride.
