Wales Bonner SS26 Celebrates 10th Anniversary With 'Superfine' Sentiments

AsGrace Wales Bonnermarks 10 years in business, the British designer presented her SS26 collection, 'Jewel,' within the historic walls of an 18th-century Parisian library. The simple title is meant to evoke the objects we treasure — timeworn garments, family heirlooms, inherited jewelry, or perhaps, your most prized possessions. Executed with restraint and beauty, her latest work draws on both her modern multiculturalism and the opulent British sartorial tradition of the 20th century. The resulting collection aligns with the well-fitting theme of the2025 Met Gala, 'Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,' which the designer explored as an official host committee member. Echoes of her Met carpet designs forLewis Hamilton,FKA Twigs, and others are present with recurring details like tipped berets, jeweled brooches, and scalloped embellishments evocative of the Art Deco style. Despite the elegant touches of evening wear inspiration, these looks are less likely to be seen on the Met steps, appearing with an ease and naturalism suited for everyday wear. Jermyn Street-style shirting is worn open-chested or with a popped collar; various tops are layered under jackets with their sleeves pulled up. Elsewhere, patchwork denim and tracksuit bottoms ground more sartorial sensibilities in the present day, and dress shorts sit high above the knee. Standing out as one of the most formal looks is a collaboration with Savile Row tailors Anderson & Sheppard, manifesting in a cream-colored wool and silk tailcoat worn with high-waisted evening trousers. However, Wales Bonner offers balance to these elevated moments through a new collaboration withadidasandYohji Yamamoto'sY-3, including a souvenir jacket, technical trousers, and a new iteration of the Y-3 field shoe. See the gallery above for a full look at the collection, and stay tuned to Hypebeast for the latest fashion insights.

In Pictures: Wales Bonner celebrates 10 years with Y-3 collaboration

British brand Wales Bonner celebrated its 10-year anniversary by unveiling a series of collaborations at its Paris Fashion Week Men's show for the spring/summer 2026 season. The collection, 'Jewel', drew inspiration from 1930's evening wear and British sartorial traditions, evidenced in what were described as 'timeworn and treasured pieces'. Among the collaborations that made up much of the line was that of a new partnership with Y-3, the collaborative project by Adidas Originals and Japanese designer Yohji Yamamoto. The runway also welcomed an update to the Adidas Originals by Wales Bonner Karintha Lo sneaker, which was elevated in basket weave. The sports-centric designs sat alongside looks that tied in more closely to British prep, like cotton and merino polo shirts that were made in England in partnership with British knitwear designer John Smedley. Accessories only further cemented the designer's fervour for teamwork. Wales Bonner turned to British milliner Stephen Jones to help create diamond baobab-flower brooches and berets, which adorned various looks that they sometimes even coordinated with. Jewel looked surprised when Tito Boy told her that some of her friends from "StarStruck" wanted to say hello before playing the video messages of Kris and Chariz. In Kris' message, she expressed how much she misses Jewel and shared about how much they've changed as individuals. "Grabe 'yung focus natin sa 'StarStruck,' sa pagiging artista pero ngayon nasaan na tayo? Mommies na tayo, and nakikita ko na talagang na-e-enjoy mo 'yng pagiging mommy ngayon, ilan na 'yung kids mo, nako sana ako din. She also said she's happy that Jewel's in the Philippines and hopes to do some projects with her. "Sana makatrabaho kita, sana magkita tayo, let's catch up soon. Namimiss na kita, magchikahan tayo, pero happy ako na na-e-enjoy mo 'yung buhay mommy, na-e-enjoy mo ang family life. Ako, na-e-enjoy ko din, halika mag-usap tayo," said Kris. Chariz, for her part, welcomed Jewel home in her video message. "Welcome home, literally and figuratively, syempre andito tayo sa Sparkle na dating GMA Artist Center, dito tayo lahat nagsimula 20 years ago. Syempre ikaw ang nagwagi na Ultimate Sweetheart and syempre ikaw ang ultimate sweetheart ng family mo ngayon na napakaganda. I love it," said Chariz. Chariz also hoped for more blessings for Jewel. "Sana i-bless pa ni Lord 'yung mga future plans mo kahit sa showbiz man 'yan or outside showbiz. And syempre, sana lagi kayong masaya as a family and healthy palagi. See you soon!" she said. During Jewel's guesting, she looked back on her journey in "StarStruck: The Next Level" where she won and was named Ultimate Sweetheart. Per Jewel, she thought she was misunderstood at that time because she did not have any prior experience in showbiz. "Ako galing sa probinsya, alam mo 'yung school lang po 'yung alam ko, ibang mundo 'yung 'StarStruck sa akin noon, and parang na misinterpret ako tapos parang feeling ko tingin nila pa goody-good shoes ako that time tapos very tahimik ako," she said. She also shared about her life outside showbiz and how she became "the ultimate homemaker" in Michigan, United States. Jewel married Alex Kurzer in 2015. They have three daughters, Aislah Rose, Emerald Jade, and Yzbel Quinn.

Jewel Mische talks about life outside showbiz, ‘ultimate homemaker' role in Michigan

Jewel Mische found a new calling and a fulfilling life after stepping away from the limelight, transforming into what she describes as 'the ultimate homemaker' in Michigan, United States. On Wednesday's 'Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,' Jewel gave updates on her life and also opened up about her decision to leave the entertainment industry. 'It was the right thing for me to do at that time. Quite frankly, medyo—at that time, hindi ako decided, hindi ako sure kung first love ko ba talaga ito, ito ba talaga 'yung gusto kong gawin for the rest of my life,' she said. 'And Alex [Kurzer] came at the right time.' Jewel recalled that her decision coincided with the end of her showbiz contract. 'So napadali 'yung decision ko to pursue my other dream to have a family,' she said. Jewel shared that in Michigan, she was 'the ultimate homemaker.' According to her, she was getting to experience other aspects of life that she loved, such as gardening, and also embracing her roles as a devoted wife to her husband and a mom. 'Nasubukan ko ring magtrabaho. I was a designer for a landscaping company. All around. Lahat ng puwede kong gawin,' she said. Jewel is currently back in the Philippines and said that she is open to accepting showbiz projects, as long as they are the right material for her. Jewel won and was named as the Ultimate Sweetheart of 'StarStruck 4.' She and Alex tied the knot in 2015.
