Meet Hong Kong's father-daughter duo out to make National Games a family affair
Teenage long jumper Tiffany Jia Wai-yin is hoping to make this year's National Games a family affair, by joining her father in the Hong Kong squad for China's biggest multi-sport event.
And the 18-year-old is well on her way to fulfilling her side of the bargain, after breaking the city's under-20 record twice in a day.
Her father, Jia Dong-jin, is the goalkeeping coach for the men's handball team, and the only thing that might keep them apart is the fact that while his events in November will take place at Kai Tak Arena, the track and field competition is being held at Guangdong Olympic Sports Centre.
'He's a handball coach and I am an athlete, but it should be special to be able to compete together,' Tiffany Jia. 'I hope our schedule won't clash so that we can support each other on site.
'It will be perfect if his team gets some great results on home soil and I could record a few decent jumps too.'

There is plenty of reason for Jia to feel optimistic. Representing her city at the National Youth U20 Track and Field Championships last month, the teen broke her own 6.14 metre record twice before slipping the gold medal around her neck.
