Quadsat secures $5.8m Series A extension
This new funding will accelerate Quadsats expansion into the defence sector, enabling the company to scale its technology and operations in response to growing demand for battlefield intelligence and electronic warfare capabilities. Quadsat, a provider of precise spectrum intelligence and RF geolocation solutions for satcoms and defence, has announced a $5.8m extension to its Series A round, led by Join Capital and North Ventures, alongside existing investors Seraphim Space, Export and Investment Fund of Denmark (EIFO), Helge Munk Holding and TPC Management. This investment enables Quadsat to accelerate its expansion into the rapidly evolving defence sector, enhancing capabilities critical for modern battlefield intelligence and electronic warfare. Quadsats technology, which is platform agnostic, addresses critical defence challenges, including the precise detection and location of RF signals, interference and jamming. These capabilities are increasingly vital for military operations across air, land, sea, cyber and space domains, known in the defence sector as Multi- Domain Operations. Quadsat and Arabsat sign MoU on spectrum and antennas
As part of the collaboration, Quadsat will create dedicated test and measurement protocols tailored specifically for Arabsat, along with a standard test report format, enhancing both consistency and reliability in antenna performance verification. Quadsat, a provider of UAV-based antenna testing and RF measurement solutions, has entered into a strategic partnership with Arabsat, the satellite operator in the MENA region. The two companies signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at CABSAT 2025, outlining plans to collaborate on advanced spectrum management and antenna qualification technologies. The partnership aims to define clear protocols for selecting antenna vendors that meet Arabsats stringent performance standards, validate new antenna installations, and maintain and calibrate existing ground infrastructure. It will also support the detection and geolocation of unauthorised or interfering signals across Arabsats satellite fleet. With the satellite communications environment becoming increasingly complex, Arabsat sees this agreement as a critical step in ensuring optimal performance of its network. The operator intends to use Quadsats innovative testing solutions to evaluate flat panel antennas for multi-orbit operations and develop a data-driven system for vendor assessment. The collaboration will help Arabsat maintain the integrity and reliability of its services by streamlining antenna testing and promptly identifying sources of interference.
